He was thorough in his explanation of what was happening and what the best path forward was. He explained and used the MRI's to show me exactly what was going on and where. He made sure I understood how to best care for my injury and what not to do. The follow up phone call from Dr. Martins was also very comforting and informative. He gave a detailed explanation of how my situation usually occurs what his concerns would be if I wasn't showing improvement and timetable to check back in and see where I am at in a few days. He alleviated my concerns and made sure I was clear on everything before we hung up. The last minute scheduling to fit me in was awesome. I LOVE how quickly phone calls are returned. Usually within a matter of an hour or two.

When I got up to inquire if I'd be seen next (this was after waiting an hour and a half) the receptionist acted as if I was bother her and how dare I even ask such a question. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. When I finally was seen by the nurse, I was with her for about 15 minutes, and I'm being generous on the time. She sent me for blood work and told me I didn't need another appointment and once they got the blood results they'd call me if necessary. Well, after waiting days, I still hadn't received a call. After my THIRD attempt to call and speak to someone (oh, and this was after I called and was placed on hold for over 15 minutes; finally I hung up and just called back since they probably forgot about me) I was told all my results were fine but to schedule another appontment for in a month. When I asked why since that isn't what the nurse said the receptionist quickly changed the tone in her voice and let the attitude come out... Needless to say, I'm now seeing a new PCP and just went for new blood work since the previous requested work wasn't thorough and most likely IS an illness while this office was so quick to say everything was fine.

I have spoken to her twice, she is argumentative, would not let me finish speaking, and started her sentence with "no, no" and tried to give me misinformation. I was returning a call to Dr. Gentes' nurse, and Amy told me that I could not leave a voicemail, which I had done about a month previously. She did not give my message to the nurse, who called me, and was very upset that she never received the message, it not only has caused a significant amount of wasted time, but has also compromised my care.

However the office and the employees are another story. Most are interns that come and go. Let me say that the relationship you think you have with your physician can quickly be ruined especially when you have an issue or question. This happened to me today. I simply called and spoke to Wendy about a couple of office visits. Some of these visits were less then 3min. I perfectly understand insurance but requested to speak with Dr. Kim on a issue. When that happens it turns into money not the relationship. Wendy quickly got back on the phone and stated she spoke to Dr. Kim and she said unfortunately she cannot do anything. All I wanted was a quick chat. In conclusion look for at least a more up to date,private,professional office. I never really felt any of these factors until I was treated like a number today and not a 20+ year patient. I will never return to this office.

I visited both the Westport and Milford locations, and at each office, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Throughout my pregnancy, I saw Dr. Khan, Dr. Proulx, and Dr. Murray. They are exceptional physicians -- you truly couldn't ask for better professionals. They made me feel fully supported every step of the way. The delivery of my daughter was a wonderful experience, and what meant even more was that they came to visit me afterward to check on both me and my baby. That level of care meant so much to me. A year later, I returned for my annual exam and saw Dr. Proulx again. I was so impressed by how well she understood what I was going through and how thoroughly she answered all of my questions. I was greatly disappointed and realized quickly visiting him was a great waste of time. My "physical" lasted roughly 3 minutes, where after asking me my height & weight he just wrote down for me to go get a blood test and come back a week later. He appears to just look to get patients in and out as fast as he can so he is able to bill your insurance company. Which was evident in him seeing 5 different patients in the first 15 minutes I was in his office. If you are looking for someone to just write you a prescription without actually being checked out by a doctor, he's your man. If you are looking to be actually seen by a doctor go else where. I wish I checked his yelp reviews before going to seeing him, its evident the type of service he provides.

Setting up an appointment is easy on their website, and wait times are not too long. Dr. C is thorough in his analysis of your health concern or general checkup, and truly makes an effort to understand your situation holistically as a patient to make the most effective recommendations. He is highly knowledgeable of the ecosystem for specialists in his area as well for referrals. I have always felt respected by Dr. C and his Office Manager, and will continue to come see him as well as recommend him to family and friends.

Now that I have switched (new ins.), she not only remembers my family, I feel as though, I'm treated like family. She takes her time. She is thorough and careful. She explains things. I've only been seeing her for a bout a year now but I've been a few times already as I got the flu and I needed a physical. I'm also diabetic and while I see an endocrinologist regularly for that, she was very attentive to my diabetes and wants to stay updated on my endocrine appointments. As for my grandmother, when my grandma passed, it was Dr. Nwangwu's who listened to her symptoms and really investigated. She was able to help find the cause of her pain shortly before her passing. It was unexpected and the answers came as a result of the thorough labwork Nwangwu had ordered. I've never had to wait longer than 15 minutes (I've visited the office probably 6 or 7 times this year) and when I had trouble initially and misunderstanding with my insurance claim, I questioned my bills and they reviewed each claim with me. I was even offered a discount on my portion since I'd felt there had been some misunderstanding regarding my insurance/initial visit. She's great.
