Haven been to several gynecologists prior to Dr. Darak and I can attest to her vast and superior knowledge in this field. She is proactive in her approach to any and all issues. She listens attentively during each office visit and never has failed to arrive at a plan of action that is developed on a collaborative basis. In addition to Dr. Darak's professionalism, her compassion and care is so greatly appreciated. Her treatment of those she cares for rises above doctor-patient formalities. There is a familiar approach in her interactions. I can thoroughly trust that what she recommends for me would not differ from a recommendation she would make for her own family. Given Dr. Darak's broad knowledge in her area of expertise and the empathetic support she bestows on her patients, I would highly recommended her as your doctor.

When I first with…read moreDr. Darak for a consultation she talked really fast and her presence came off as very pushy and overbearing. A friend had referred me to her because she apparently is known to treat aggressively where and when needed, so I overlooked the pushy attitude. When I decided to move forward and establish her as my new physician, I had my all of my previous GYN history and records sent to her office, so that she would be prepared before my scheduled procedure(s). I am confident in saying that I do not believe she reviewed any of those records, because the additional tests she had ordered after my in office procedure were unnecessary. I paid through the nose for additional testing and in office procedures.. Several weeks passed by and I had received a call from the office to inform me that my labs and test results had been lost and that I may need to have the procedures done a second time. There was no way I was going through another round of painful testing because someone didnt do their job correctly. Dr. Darak's bedside manner is abusive, painful and cold. I could go into deeper detail about the actual procedures and how unpleasant each one were.. but as women I think you can figure it out. I had never, ever had such a painful and uncaring experience in my life.

Great so far. I've…read morehad two sessions and am suitably impressed with this provider. The therapy/program is suited to my problem, so I'm going to focus on what I liked about the way the facility is run. 1) Not pertinent for me, but easy to get in to, parking is not a fiasco -- this actually is a major afterthought for most places as they try to put in-group offices together. Instead, PT not requiring a drop off and long walk or not having to navigate a bunch of corridors is a pretty big deal. 2) I've been early both times and this place isn't overbooked. Overbooking is an increasing problem among specialties and there is less and less regard for the patient's time. They're busy here, but it's not slammed or over-crowded. Very big plus. 3) You can miss the turn in here, and even though it's a busy road, it's in a location that you have several choices of directions to come with, it's only a 1-on-1 road with good sized breakdown lanes All of the patients seem to value their time there, and everyone that works there seems to be doing what they want to do. Physical Therapy and recovery are a very personalized experience - that appears to be the top priority at Top Hat. If your injury or problem has been particularly discouraging or draining, this is a really big deal an I recommend them highly.
