In the past I've been treated for 2 ruptured discs, tennis elbow, a torn meniscus and surgery of my left knee, a torn hamstring, plantar fasciitis and a torn gluteal muscle. I'm currently recovering from a rotator cuff restoration and, as always, couldn't be happier with my progress. One of the great things about Somers AON is the educational experience. After several months of recovery I needed to find someone to help me continue my recovery during a cold winter. A family friend recommended for me to go see Dr. Mascetta, I hesitantly made the appointment. It was the best appointment I ever made and continue to make to this day. We went over my scans, discussed my healing, discussed what I do for a living having a physical job. We discussed what he wanted to do for helping me recover and most importantly, stating "we can fix this". After seeing him week after week for several months we spaced out my visits to bi weekly, and today, I see him when needed for adjustments that continue to help me daily with every day life. We developed a plan with what I need to do at home with important stretching and exercises to go along with the adjustments. I couldn't be more happy with my full recovery. I am fortunate to have his office nearby locally in Ridgefield. His office staff are phenomenal, professional and most importantly, family oriented. I called in September to report it, and was given an appointment in May. Took time off of work, scheduled other things around it, NEVER COMPLAINED. Then two days before, after confirming it, they canceled because the doctor is doing a c-section. They can reschedule for September 2026. Come to find out the fact my period STOPPED didn't give anyone enough pause to mark the appointment as over an issue, it was coded as general, and of course I was wrong because that's what they have in their computer. They suggested other days with genuine conflicts, because I had been keeping my appointment day open. I was accused of being uncooperative, immediately suggested a date, and gee, it was booked. So my concern had been ignored, appointment cancelled with two days notice (because they're not working weekends and holidays for them to count), told I was being uncooperative for having other things going on in my own life, and then told maybe I could find a new doctor, so I guess 15+ years doesn't mean much to them.

I left 3 messages asking about my test results and never got a response. I switched to a new gyno bc this place is terrible, and requested my one days worth of records. She's kind, attentive and a little sassy which we find perfect to offset the tension of these visits which if we're honest no one looks forward to! The staff are friendly and welcoming and he wait times are rarely more than a few minutes. Oh and they have a radiologist in the next office that does mammograms, ultrasound and bone density tests!
