My experience at Dr. Weisman was beyond horrific. I had been a patient only a few months, only…read morevisiting 2xs the office. One particular time it was around the winter in CT and there was a snow storm that occurred. I had an appointment, didn't show up because it was after the storm and cars were still deeply buried in. When I got a bill for no-show, I inquired about it and the receptionist wasn't nice about it, she was quite rude and dismissive. I asked to speak with the office manager, who was over-hearing the conversation but refused to get involved. After asking her to please hear me out. She checked the date to see if the office close and it wasn't, I express it was the next day and I totally missed the appointment. ( it was the only missed appointment I've ever had) she was getting loud with her tone and as dismissive as her receptionist. I said that unfortunate that a office manager speaks like that to patients. Her response was the most rudest...racially motivated and disrespectful... She said "we don't want your business or money anyway" I said you don't treat paying patients like that. Her response was "we don't want your money anyway". Dr. Weissman came out and just looked, no interjection no acknowledgement of you don't treat patients like that... I have never returned to the office ever since that episode Feb 2017, and they sent me a bill for no show and make it appear on my credit. They are vile and disgusting. I promised I would one day write this review. An office manager is suppose to be good at running an office, also be compassionate and understanding. I didn't go there with any anger, or any anxiety of the situation, but hope it could be resolved professionally but instead I was treated like crap and disrespect. I will NEVER go back and I would want anyone who care to read to go there with caution!

I came to ER with breathing problems and pain in my abdomen. They diagnosed me with a mass that was and could still be after colonopsy. I also was diagnosed with Peumonia and invistagting lung mass that can also be cancerous. This Dr. Was assigned for my lung issue. First time I met him he asked open-ended questions and when I try to answer he told me with his finger shhh and shut up. I am not a child and no one in my condition or the cancer ward were in 2 weeks 3 patients have passed. Especially with pain etc. I taught maybe having a bad day ? No problem. Next day he tells me he recommends they send me home and see my local pulmonologist. I examined my Peumonia is not gone, my colon has not been resolved and I couldn't understand because my oncologist advised me that I would not be released anytime soon. Same said by the primary Doctor here. He went on to tell me I was inconsistent various times about my health. Never explained my inconsistencies. I rebutted as kind as I could did you read my chart ? All I am telling you is in there. He proceeded to tell me he would look at the chart. I opened my chart to show him and he walked away. I am a 57 year old grandfather, forced retired because of my travel limitations. I have 2 Masters. One in Business and one in addition And mental health which I volunteer doing. I speak 3 language etc etc. That SHOULD NOT matter. Trear ALL people with respect, empathy and care until they prove you otherwise. We are in a very diverse hospital. I have been told by various health workers here including Nurses, dietitians, other Doctors, cleaning people etc.. that patients complain and often ask for a Doctor change as I have requested as well. I wish someone would give this gentlemen a refresher course on bedside sensitivity training. Good luck and I hope I live to see a change Sir.
