I called to discuss their error and was told I was billed for TWO office visits for my ONE appointment! So while my 'annual physical' appt was covered 100% under preventative, I was on the line for the 2nd office visit of $250. When we went into the nitty gritty of why I was charged for a 2nd visit, it was from a question the doc asked ME, which I responded with 'it's fine'. It wasn't even a conversation lasting more then 5 SECONDS. After FOUR attempts at calling them to resolve my issue, which nobody ever called me back, I gave up and now go elsewhere.

She is currently at this office on Wednesday and Friday, and she never rushes through an appointment. She always seems concerned about my health issues and is very competent, thorough and compassionate. She seems to enjoy helping her patients. The office is clean and comfortable. Also, the office wants to charge you ahead even before billing to your insurance to see what you really need to pay for visits or services like EKG etc. Once they made me pay for an EKG and then my insurance paid them too. so, they Got paid twice for the service and never heard back from them. I had to double check and call them & they wanted me to go to the office in person in order to refund me my payment when they already had my CC information. Another issue, they don't send statements neither call if you have a balance pending. How are you supposed to know if you have a pending balance or where to send the payment payable to who? etc. I really tried to stay in the office because the DR. is good but to have a hard time every time you need something is not good at all.

Dr. Fahmi has been my physician for nearly 20 years and was also my mother's PCP until her untimely passing from Leukemia. She is compassionate, thorough, and a consummate professional. I am a licensed medical provider and have never felt uncomfortable, unheard, or in doubt about her care. I have known Lourdes, her medical assistant, equally as long as she is truly a gem of the practice. I'm seen right away and have rarely been in the waiting room with more than one other person, at most 2 or 3. Are there times when there may be a longer wait? I'm sure of it, but this happens in every facet of healthcare. Dr. Fahmi is an excellent choice if you are looking for a competent and caring medical provider.
