We saw the sign for this place and we were TOTALLY against an Italian place inside of a gas station... but I stand corrected. Bruno's was SO amazing. I had a sausage and mushroom pizza that was made with love. My wife and kids had the Alfredo, and Spaghetti and Meatballs. I can not begin to tell you how amazing this place was. You could tell that the recipes and the food were made with care and consideration. The restaurant smelt SO heavenly and it was clean and very pleasant. Bruno's in Cedar City Utah was pretty tasty. It's one of those attachments to the gas station, small dining area however, the food was really awesome. Had an occasion to to be in Cedar City last week. Ordered a salami sandwich and the price was $8.10 for a very SMALL sandwich that came with a bag of chips and probably 1oz of cole slaw. Really, $8.10 for what was basically a child's size portion let alone a grown up. With soda and a tip, it was almost $13. The food cost for my order was approximately $1.50. If you want to mark it up 3x that's only $6.00 for that sandwich. Really shameful to charge high prices and not give the customers a good value for their hard earned money. That's basic restaurant 101, give the customers a good value for their money, not dig into their pocket like a thief in the night. As an example, the local Hong Kong Buffet offers a dinner buffet for $11.99 with a $3.00 off coupon. So for $8.99 you can eat all the Chinese food you want for dinner versus $8.10 for a child's size sandwich at Bruno's. I would bet that Bruno's would have much more business if either their prices were lower of their portion sizes were larger. Seems other Bruno's reviewers on Yelp feel the same way. Ownership should be listening and reading these reviews. There were two customers in front of me sitting down and they both ordered a pizza each. The first pizza came out and the second one came out about 7-8 minutes later. There was nobody else in the place. Both pizza's should have come out either at the same time of within a minute or two. Wonderful spot we almost didn't find! Located inside a gas station we weren't sure what we were getting ourselves into but boy are we glad we did. I had pesto penne pasta with Italian sausage links my husband had chicken fettuccine alfredo, both meals came with complementary garlic bread and salad. Delicious!! Service was unbelievably fast, the waitress was very friendly and everyone else in the restaurant seem to be enjoying themselves as much as we did! We were on a road trip to see Bryce Canyon and had stopped off in Cedar City for some supplies and dinner. A friend saw this on Yelp and we decided to try it. I had trouble finding it b/c I didn't realize it was attached to the grocery store located at gas station. My first thought was "Nope! Gonna try something else." But we were pressed for time and decided to stay. The food was surprisingly ok! We had pizza and the pasta special. The pasta was nothing special. Felt like canned sauce mixed in some meat and veggies. This was what I expected. But the pizza was actually quite good! The best part was the staff. The Alfredo shrimp linguine wasn't as great as people raved on here, however the pesto here is UNBELIEVABLE!! I couldn't believe no one had said anything about how delicious the pesto was! The food is usually good, and that's why we keep coming back. But wow... they have really got to work on their service. Every time we go there, whether it's for dine in or take out, it takes at least 30-45 minutes, I don't understand why it should take that long when we are the only ones in there or there's only one or two other people in there. Today, we were a sitting there waiting and it had been 30 minutes, when one of the guys who was working was cleaning the soda machine and we asked how much longer and he looked confused. We knew at that moment they forgot because he was the cook. He said "I'm not gonna lie I thought it was a to go order" it had been sitting up there for probably 10 minutes. Because the people who walked in after we were done ordering had already received their food. Something similar happened in the past as well. It's a bummer that Bruno's is the only Italian option in Cedar, other than Chef Alfredos. read more

Fabulous! I had the pastrami panini and my girlfriend had the chicken parmesan panini, both were delicious and very filling. The sandwiches came with potato chips and a small side of coleslaw. We aren't huge fans of coleslaw so we left that item untasted. As previously noted, this restaurant is inside a gas station, much like you would find if this were a fast food or chain sandwich shop with the exception of the food being an order of magnitude tastier than what you would find at one of those other chain fast food establishments. BEST ALFREDO EVER!!! Wish there was one in St George...I love alfredo and have had alfredo at all the big chain restaurants and many others. BRUNO'S hands down has the best. It was perfectly creamy and not greasy, with amazing flavor--not too much and not too little. I was a little nervous about the place sharing space with a gas station but both the gas station and the restaurant were weirdly very nice. The staff was helpful and friendly. We got the pesto alfredo pasta, antipasto salad, and a custom calzone. Absolutely delicious! They didnt try to charge you for every single little thing in the custom calzone either. A great price for great food. The only thing I would recommend is throwing in some low italian music somewhere and it would be that much better. I plan to come back soon! read more

Probably the best pizza place in Cedar. They are next to a convenience store in a Chevron gas station. But dont be fooled, the inside is very nice lots of seating good for small or big parties. Stopping in Cedar City for a night, we looked for a local restaurant. Didn't expect to find simple and good Italian diner in a Chevron station. Indeed, we nearly didn't find it at all due to flaky GPS signal leading to wrong place. At any rate, dinner was good and tasty; pesto pasta and clams in marinara, more than we'd anticipated in a quirky location. The decor is quite nice and inviting, the staff were very attentive despite the fast food ordering method. They served dinner, on modern white dishes, to our table and even refilled our fountain drink. We have previously thought what a great place this is, good food and generally great customer service, but today I tried their online order system. I spent over $50 for our food and it gives you an option for extra bread, so I took that option and it doesn't tell you anywhere that choosing the extra bread removes your dinner salad from the order. Great. Now I have the food home miles away and no salad, and everyone else got one. I called and they said the bugs are not worked out on the online system and offered me nothing at all. I was told they would let the manager know for future reference. Where does that leave the customer and where is the customer service? read more

Bruno's recently went through a major renovation. Now the only thing to remind you that you are eating at a gas station is the occasional dinging of the automatic doors next door. I am never going back after our service tonight. We ordered and there was no one in front of us, but after 45 minutes we still didn't have our salad. The 6 people that ordered after us all had theirs. They finally brought out food and it was only 2 of three things we ordered. It took another 20 minutes to get our pasta, during that time everyone that ordered after us got their food before us; When we were told our order was next. It seemed to be but everyone but us.
