I came here for a Christmas party and there was a set menu. I have food allergies and most of the items were not safe for me to eat. The manager heard that me another person had the same allergies and was very nice and made sure we had something to eat. The staff was very attentive and made sure had everything we needed. We have been here several times. The most recent was with my wife, children and extended family. For starters we had the fried calamari, then house salad with blue cheese dressing, both were very good. For mail course I had the Chicken Scarpello, this was great, highly recommend this dish. To wash it down I had water and wine, house wine was also very good. For dessert we shared several ones, but I had the tartufo, love this dessert. Someone was wanting good Italian food so on a recommendation we went to Brunello Italian Kitchen. We had reservations and when we got there, the restaurant was not crowded and we were seated right away. The dining room was very nice , cozy but not small. We sat at a booth which could comfortably fit 6 people. The staff was not overly friendly or welcoming, but pleasant enough. We ordered drinks first and for appetizers we had the calamari which was very good. The portion was on the small size but the calamari was tender and the breading was nice and crunchy. I would definitely order it again. The other appetizer was a pretzel with a bunch of deliciousness on top. Cheese, artichokes, tomato, peppers and some different kinds of meats. It was giant! 4 of us probably ate around 1/2. I've never seen that anywhere else, I'm all for something unique. There was also the bread and the salad! At that point I was full. I didn't need anything else but we had already ordered our main courses. I had the Orecchiette with broccoli rabe minus the sausage. It was ok, the broccoli rabe lacked that bitter bite that I liked and it needed cheese and pepper but the cheese on the table wasn't great, I think i was looking for some freshly grated cheese and pepper but that did not appear. At the end of the dinner, we were offered a free after dinner drink that was made with peach schnapps, something sparkling and something else. It was very refreshing and nice of them to give us that little treat. By the time we left the dining room was nearly full. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice, there was nothing that I could say was amazing so I'm not sure I would come back unless the people I was with insisted but if you are looking for decent Italian food, definitely give it a try and order the calamari for sure! read more

My family took me here for my birthday over the weekend. They'd been here before and raved about it so they insisted on coming here, and I was NOT disappointed! It's a small restaurant so be sure to make a reservation, or be prepared to wait/get shut out. Nothing too spectacular about the inside but it's nice and clean, so no complaints. Our server was amazing, offering up advice on what to order and also providing some friendly conversation. Now to the food... it's delicious. Absolutely delicious. The pretzel antipasto is like a combination of a charcuterie board and a giant pretzel, and the flavors are perfect together. The calamari is as crispy as you would hope for it to be. And for the entrees, I ordered the Chicken and Crabmeat Oreganata which was very flavorful. Not as much crabmeat as I would've liked, but still enough that it complemented the chicken nicely. We made a reservation for 10 people for Friday night, you would think a restaurant would make sure they could accommodate 10 people when they have literally no standing area. Instead, my party of 10 had to wait for 1/2 hour, get bumped into, get dirty looks, not one person ever came over and said sorry it's going to be a little while. Absolutely nothing! People kept coming in, having to practically climb over us. Then when we are finally seated, they put us 4 inches from the kitchen and I had people bumping into my chair every five seconds plus large trays of glasses constantly being carried over my head. This is why people order from home now, because the greed has gotten so bad that people would forgo customer service just to make the extra buck. On top of everything else, one of the meals had large pieces of eggshell in it. OPEN A LARGER RESTAURANT OR HAVE LESS PEOPLE IN IT! read more

The atmosphere is mom and pops with many locals who look like they've dined there forever and they appear like they are familiar with their neighbors. Love the service. Waitress attentive , even though she was by herself , food was excellent , that fried calamari was done perfectly with medium hot sauce - salad came with meal was just regular - chicken parm was formidable and juicy. They have lunch specials ranging from salads,soups,sandwiches and pasta dishes. As an app we ordered burrata it was okay but it was warm which is a first for me. I went with the train wreck lasagna it came with a side salad. Side salad was great with their creamy garlic dressing. I couldn't believe the portion for lunch! It was huge! It was piping hot as I like! The lasagne was okay I've had better. Plenty of sauce,cheese and ricotta but not enough meat. My fiancée had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and prosciutto. Again a huge portion! It tasted okay too. Both meals weren't bad they just weren't great. Decent enough where I would want to come back. We couldn't get over the huge portion and told our waitress we could've shared that! She then said yeah but told us there's a sharing fee of $5. This is a big pet peeve of mine. My fiancé and I usually share when we go to restaurants. We order multiple apps, plenty of drinks and usually split an entree. I just don't understand a sharing fee when your spending a good amount of money. There's plenty of good Italian places we enjoy and don't have to worry about a sharing fee! A hidden gem!!! Let me start by saying my boyfriend didn't want me to write a review because he was afraid the restaurant would become too popular for us to get a table. The restaurant is clean and elegant, the service was pleasant and attentive, there was excellent live music and the food was absolutely delicious. From the spicy fried calamari to the salmon and the osso buco, everything was incredible, They even had blue cheese stuffed olives for my dirty martini. My cousins made last minute reservations for 5 yesterday at 5:30 we got there 5:40 and we got seated. Right off the bat the hostess said we need to be out by 7. Ok so we quickly ordered our apps entrees and drinks. We had asked for 2 cokes, a bottle of wine. The wine came out, the cokes didnt. Our apps came out after a few mins. The waitress was very pushy and unfriendly, when we would talk to make a choice about thing she would huff and puff and role her eyes. Anyways our entrees came out 6:35, our plates and forks didnt. We had to ask multiple times, our waitress wasnt attentive to us. My daughters entree came after we finished our food at 6:50. I finally asked the bus boy for our cokes. Then it was 7:05 they brought the check over. This was the drawing line for us, I asked what about dessert they said you need to leave at 7 we have another party. I understand that but shoving us out bc foods came out late wasnt our problem. They said we'll give you the dessert to go, how rude? Everyone was staring, it was ridiculous. The manager came and said each table has 1 hr 45 mins, well sir your math is wrong we should have had till 7:15 then. His math is off as a manager that's horrible representation for the business. Last night I went to Brunelllo's for the first time. I did not want to stay and eat in as the ambiance was for couples and family. So I had a glass of wine and ordered my meal to go at the bar. I ordered the Scarpariello chicken wings and the Pappardelle Bolognese Ragu and I must tell you they were most delicious dishes that I have ever had at an Italian restaurant!
