This place slaps. Just stopped in for a slice & I was blown away. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They made sure we got a hot fresh slice that just came out. You can either take out or dine in. We opted out to eat in the parking lot. One of the best slices in this area. Nice flavorful sauce. Good sauce to cheese ratio. Nice tase on the dough. A little flop but still a little crisp.

Penne Alla Vodka with Grilled Chicken

This is the place to go to get authentic Italian cuisine They are always friendly whether you're calling in over the phone to place an order or coming to dine in I'm always choosing between penne a la vodka with grilled chicken or fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. They have decor to match the food, they have booths and tables if you're looking for a casual sit down restaurant

The place is a bit of a hole in the wall but the food is delicious. Tonight my friend got Fra Diavlo & I got the eggplant parm & we both had mozzarella & tomato app. Everything was perfection

Chicago pan pizza half pepperoni

Even pizza gets boring sometimes. My wife and I decided to try a new place for Friday night pizza. Instead of the five minute drive to our usual place, going to mulberry took ten. So delicious. We went for the Chicago pan pizza plus half pepperoni. We like our local place but the pie from Mulberry was just so full of flavor. The dough, the sauce, the cheese, it was just outright good. We will see you mulberry again next Friday. Thank you for adding the spark back to Friday night pizza.

Salad,I wish it had been chilled not very cold.

I'm giving a 2 star rating because I have had tasty entrees here.A week or so ago no,no..no.The bread basket did not have the same delights. The bread with the tomato sauce on it was not bad.We ordered the bruschetta app.It was more like a pile under the toasted bread. Not very appetizing nor appealing to the eye.The cheese was not bad.My chicken caccitore,I love garlic like adore. The flavor of garlic powder not fresh garlic mad my tongue frown.I really did not like it.My friends daughter had chicken parm... she said it was not as good as it usually is and they live around the block so they had patronized regularly. My girl Cakes had a shrimp dish, the shrimp was good. The salad was cold, not chilled cold. That is a peeve of mine. The waitress was nice, vacant and did not know anything about the menu ...but she was nice. I would go back for a pie but skip the entrees for awhile.

Pepperoni pie w/ extra pepperonis

Review based on their pizza, but haven't ever sat in to eat here. It does have seating if you'd like, suitable for large groups as well. Favorite pizza spot out on Long Island. My usual go to is a pepperoni pie w/ extra pepperoni and the occasional calamari. Always consistent in deliciousness whenever I've ordered. I can't say for the other things, but I love me a fresh pie from here! A solid pizza spot in terms of flavors, cheesiness, and crispy crust consistency!!

Not the greatest grandma slice
Doug W.

Ive had good slices and slices I'd skip, some things I like because they are unique but I wasn't fond of a few others. Granted it was the end of the night last night and I should have know by looking at the pizza it was going to be lackluster to say the least, the grandma was just not what a grandma should be regardless of time. Service is fine and dandy, poor girl dropped my slice on the floor when about to bag it... kinda wish I got a know for the wait while my second slice sat there getting cold but why be greedy when the food wasn't great last night to begin with... cute girl though. I'd stop by in a pinch if passing by but I wouldn't go out of the way to grab anything here.

Chicken cordon bleu

This place has been a staple for my family for quite sometime...my nanny loved to order and get delivery or pick up very regularly and the food was always delicious...didn't matter what was ordered, everything was very tasty! I hadn't ordered in a few months and decided I wanted a shrimp fra diavolo parmigiana...called and ordered for pick up...the girl was very new, and unfortunately messed up the order which I didn't realize right away because my friend went to pick it up. We called because the order was wrong on a couple of different items and the owner/manager gave us both credits towards our next order. So tonight, 2 days after thanksgiving, instead of leftovers, my family decided to order from Mulberry Street. We got a lovely assortment...baked clams app which was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Omg...chopped and perfectly portioned in the mix were beautiful hints of clam! Then onto seafood bisque which was creamy, flavorful, and hot! We also ordered the baked pasta combo w ravioli, manicotti, and stuffed shells in a delicious tomato sauce and topped with gorgeous mozzarella! The ricotta filling was on the same level of taste. Instead of the traditional chicken dish, we opted for the chicken cordon bleu...wow! Yummy creamy sauce layered over crispy chicken cutlets topped w mushrooms, ham, and mozzarella over linguine (our choice)...this was a very flavorful dish! We then ordered 3 slices...regular, white, and spinach...the slices were your typical good quality Italian pizzeria/restaurant slices...my only small gripe as I was the one who ordered the spinach, was that it was a bit too oily...but that's it! Nice people at the front, delicious and quality food, ready and also corrects issues promptly... All of this adds up to 5 stars to me!

Shrimp scampi over linguine pasta
Caroline L.

I ordered the shrimp scampi over linguine pasta dinner to go. It was tasty but I did find some bunches of pasta stuck together. Wasn't too happy about that. I'm willing to give it another try because it still tasted good.

What has changed more noticeably is the management. The atmosphere used to feel warm, welcoming, and inviting, but unfortunately, the management style has become much more rigid. It has gotten to the point where my husband and I actually avoid engaging with the manager (Scott), who is currently there. That's unfortunate because the overall dining experience could be so much better. Do your customers a favor and bring Andrews back. His interaction with guests was truly top-notch. He was warm, personable, attentive, and made people feel welcome. That kind of customer service makes a real difference and is something we genuinely miss.

The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional, checking in without being intrusive and helping the experience feel smooth from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each dish arrived looking carefully prepared, with generous portions that made the meal feel well worth the price. The combination of appealing presentation, satisfying flavors, and substantial servings made the meal especially enjoyable. What stood out most was the balance between good food and excellent service. Scott, the manager, and Anthony, our waiter, made everything memorable. Everything came out in a timely manner, and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. It was the kind of dining experience where we could settle in, enjoy each bite, and leave feeling satisfied rather than rushed. Overall, I would definitely recommend Americano's Pie Bar in Islip to anyone looking for a delicious meal, friendly service, and a pleasant dining experience. I look forward to coming back again. The short rib rigatoni and the prosciutto cappellacci were top-notch.

There is limited parking in the small lot in the back but there is street parking. There is a small bar area that was quite busy when my brother and I visited on a recent Tuesday at 7pm. I don't know if they have 'happy hour' but it seemed to quiet down not long after that. The dining area is not large but there are quite a number of tables and for a Tuesday many were occupied at that time with everyone from couples to families to singles. Complimentary bruschetta was brought along with a bread basket of a rustic bread w/olives and a white bread. There is a very extensive wine list along with a good selection by the glass. The standard menu is huge and they also had a full page of specials. We started with the crab cakes for an app and we mentioned we'd be sharing. I was impressed that they brought us each 1 plated. My brother had a Veal chop special, enough for two meals, that was stuffed with spinach, prosciutto & cheese in a brown mushroom gravy. He enjoyed it tremendously I have a chicken special that was stuffed with spinach, sausage, ricotta in a light tomato sauce. It was very tasty and a large portion. I took half home. There were also several dessert specials, we had a pistachio creme brulee which was just ok and a rainbow cookie crusted cheesecake which was outstanding. Everything from the service to the food was above average and I won't hesitate to go again and soon

The atmosphere was wonderful -- lively, upbeat, and full of energy while still being a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal with family. We started with the Mozzarella Frittata, which was absolutely delicious and a great way to kick off dinner. For our entrées, I had the Chicken Cutlet Special, my wife enjoyed the Chicken Meatball Pot, and our son ordered the Penne alla Vodka with Chicken Meatballs. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. You can really taste the difference in the made-from-scratch cooking and the quality of the ingredients. A special shout-out to our server, Nancy, who was AMAZING! She was friendly, attentive, personable, and made sure we had a great dining experience. Excellent service truly makes a difference, and Nancy certainly delivered! Between the delicious homemade food, generous portions, outstanding service, and lively atmosphere, Butera's really checks all the boxes. Solid 4 and Nancy added the .5 for a 4.5/5!!! After Nearly 20 Years, We Will Never Return…read more My husband and I have been loyal Tellers customers for nearly 20 years. We hosted our engagement party here in 2007, renting out the entire restaurant, and have celebrated countless anniversaries, holidays, and special occasions here. It was always one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, something has changed dramatically. Last week, we visited for the advertised $29 Power Lunch, which explicitly promises two courses in 35 minutes or less. Instead, we waited approximately TWO HOURS for our entrées. The bar was moderately busy, yet one overwhelmed bartender was responsible for multiple tables, bar patrons, and preparing drinks for the dining room. Service was painfully slow from start to finish. When my Chicken Milanese finally arrived, it was an unappealing, approximately two-inch-thick piece of chicken, nothing resembling a traditionally thin, pounded Milanese cutlet. When I questioned it, I was met with attitude rather than an apology or offer to correct the dish. But the manager's behavior was the most appalling part. When I mentioned the two-hour wait and the advertised 35-minute lunch, he repeatedly insisted the menu said NOTHING about 35 minutes, speaking to me with an incredibly condescending attitude. I pulled up Tellers' own menu on my phone and showed him the exact wording. His response? Essentially, "OK, whatever. You don't have to pay anything." No apology. No acknowledgment that he was wrong. Just complete arrogance and dismissal. I wasn't looking for a free meal. I was looking for a GOOD meal and respectful service, both of which I was more than willing to pay for. After nearly two hours, I had barely eaten, couldn't eat my entrée, and was now nearly late picking up my children. The bartender clearly needed more support, but neither her attitude nor the manager's behavior was acceptable. His conduct was particularly disgraceful for someone in hospitality. We have spent thousands of dollars at Tellers over the years and have also been regular customers at H2O and Prime, where we've celebrated annual family traditions. Unfortunately, this experience has left us unwilling to return to any of them. Restaurants can recover from slow service or a disappointing dish. What is much harder to excuse is a manager who treats longtime customers with contempt, denies his own menu's promises, and refuses to acknowledge being wrong even when shown proof. After nearly 20 years of loyalty, Tellers has lost our business. Truly disappointing.
