Pasta with pesto and pine nuts

Everyone raves about it so I was so excited to try. It was my parents second time and enjoyed their food both times. I didn't have as good of an experience as they did. The bread basket looked great. I had the piece with the sauce on it and I thought it was dry. My wine glass came with a lipstick print on it. I did bring it to their attention and they replaced it. The appetizer of fried green tomatoes was good and had delicious flavor. There were so many dinner choices! I had a very difficult time deciding, my eyes were all over the place. There were almost too many choices! I decided on the pasta with pesto and pine nuts. It was ok. The dish was huge, enough for three meals. For a sauce which should have been full of flavor, it was very bland. It needed more to it. So for me it was just ok. The bar and restaurant itself is very nice and the service was good. The red wine was my favorite part of the dinner!

This being my first time here I had heard that the food is outrageously delicious , and it was above and beyond my expectations! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal . From fish , to gnocchi , veal and chicken dishes all amazing ! Fresh delicious bread was brought to our table and we ordered a bottle of wine . We did make reservations and upon arrival we were immediately seated .The restaurant and bar area were extremely crowded , that being the only drawback as it was very loud . Our server was outstanding , polite and attentive! I ordered the Flounder Franchise with Linguine which was so fresh , light with a perfectly seasoned sauce ! So , so delicious. They have quite an extensive menu , with all the dishes being so appealing it's hard to choose ! We all enjoy ourselves and plan to return again for another delicious meal !

Francesco's of Babylon is one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always consistently good, and the atmosphere is lovely. We make it a point to visit whenever we're in Babylon, and it never disappoints.

Zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli and sauce slice

Great experience! Had a quick bite at their pizzeria (next door to their grand restaurant) and they had a unique slice that was speaking to me. The zucchini, summer squash, broccoli and sauce slice hit the spot!! I was about mid way through eating the slice when I thought, this is so good, I have to Yelp! about it! I wasn't in the mood for pizza but I'm always in the mood for veggies and this was the perfect combo. Also, met Paul (the tall, dark, and handsome bartender) who left impressionable good service for all his guests. He very attentively multitasked drink orders while never allowing your cup to go empty. Also loved that they have outdoor seating. Another great opportunity I had was meeting the great Steve Rizzo who frequents their restaurant often enough to have his name gold plated to the bar. What a joy it was to pick the brain of an incredible motivational speaker. I was honored to have connected with him. He even walked to his local residence just to retrieve a signed book for me. I'm truly blessed.

Anthony always makes the best pizzettes! cooked to perfection and customized with no question!

The menu is simple and not overwhelming which is something I really appreciate. The ingredients are quality and authentic. We love the Fulton street panini. The paninis are more like calzones because they use their pizza dough. Really unique and delicious with a bit of char from that pizza oven. The meat and cheese boards have these peppers that provide the perfect acidic bite to cleanse your pallet. The pesto gnocchi is homemade, tender and fresh with herbs. The salads are large and full of Mediterranean goodness. The cocktails are amazing with some interesting flavor combinations. One of my favorites at the moment is a mezcal and beet drink. Their espresso martini is also one of the best I've had in the area. For dessert you have to try the tiramisu. It is served in a martini glass and tastes as good as it looks. Pairs well with the espresso martini. The service is excellent and friendly. Josh goes out of his way to make sure everyone is comfortable and full with food and drink. The atmosphere is warm, intimate and cozy with dim lighting. The music is fun with a lot of great throwbacks. Never anything offensive or too loud. It's very inviting and always keeps you wanting to have one more drink. I highly recommend giving Molto Vino a try and maybe I'll see you there!

The grilled chicken caesar slice was huge and was pretty tasty, I'll definitely reorder. I also tried the tricolor grandma pizza. This slice I'd recommend to everyone as it's better than a regular grandma but not too much different or adventurous. I tried a bite of my boyfriend's hot honey pepperoni pizza and we both thought it was a cool twist on your average pepperoni. Lastly, I highly recommend the garlic knots, most places just have tasteless dough with oil on top, but this was actually soft, fluffy bread with the garlic taste throughout the entire garlic knot. I'm very picky about them so I was happy with what I got. Nothing about the exterior of the pizzeria is special and it's in a busy plaza, so I never really noticed it. My random gogole search for a chicken caesar slice nearby was how I encountered this place. Overall I'd say this is worth the trip. My only issue is the pizza is quite pricy, I got 3 slices and 4 garlic knots for a little over $20. You're better off just buying an entire pie and splitting it with a group.

We also tried their individual pizzas (absolutely amazing, go for the ala vodka and eggplant rolatini). They have so many great pizza options honestly. For dessert, we tried their bombolinis, Nutella pizza, and sugar knots, all are so addictive! Staff is friendly and always do a great job, very fast/efficient. They have a few tables inside, so there is an option for dining in if you please.

Brixton - Babylon, NY…read more My friend and I visited Brixton on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful experience. The small plates were thoughtfully prepared, the cocktails were creative and well balanced, and the staff was attentive and clearly hardworking. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy good food and drinks. All in all, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommend

These are one of the tougher reviews to make. It is easy to be enveloped by the plethora of great…read morerestaurants in the competitive nature that is NYC, but when you venture all the way out here to Babylon, NY, you have to change that mindset a bit. The Brixton is a beautiful restaurant with very relaxed and casual vibes. The word around town is that their drinks are awesome. What about their food, though? They originally would not seat us in the middle of the afternoon because most of the empty tables were reserved. We had to request to sit outside, which was empty, before they decided to serve us. Odd that they did not even offer that to us. The General Tso' Cauliflower was the only great thing served to us. It is incredibly crispy and flavorful. You almost forgot that you were eating a piece of vegetable at times. The Short Rib Brisket Sesame burger was shocking. $18 for two White Castles-sized sliders. It was easily consumed, and I was left much to be desired. This is most definitely an appetizer item, not an entree. The Chicken Waffle was good. Nicely deep-fried and packs a lot of flavor. The waffle looked dubious. If I had to guess, it might not be mad fresh to order. Essentially, it's 3 drumsticks/wings over a possibly frozen Eggo waffle. I would recommend a second dish if you are looking to get full. The Steak frites and Eggs Benedict were the final dishes served. It is hard to mess these dishes up, but the ribeye was nicely seasoned and cut up. The dishes were nicely displayed. Overall, this is just an OK experience. When the deep-fried cauliflower appetizer is the most memorable dish here, it is quite alarming. Portion sizes are on the small end, and none of the flavors for the entrees really stuck out. Perhaps I will come here strictly for the drinks next time.
