Brunches is an awesome brunch spot! The food was excellent and the portions were huge. The breakfast sandwiches were massive and really filling, and the breakfast tacos were delicious. The little donut hole bites were amazing and definitely worth ordering. The atmosphere is beautifully designed and makes it a great place to relax for brunch. Sitting in the sunshine while looking out at the snow-covered mountains made the whole experience even better. If only there was an option to give zero stars. Management/owners, service, and kindness, all lacked terribly. We were driving through Sisters, OR on a family road trip. We had 9 members in our group including 3 young children and our first pick for lunch was Brunchies, unfortunately (or fortunately) we arrived at 1:45ish and saw online that they closed at 2, we didn't want to inconvenience them with our large group so instead we went to Tacos & Mas which was a 30 second walk away and also had great reviews but was inside a gas station with no seating. This food truck area that Brunchies is in, had a ton of picnic tables and it looked like a great spot to sit with our family and eat our lunch. We did not know and still don't know if this was private property, if it was labeled as such, etc. we thought it was a food truck pod situation with open seating. We sat down, opened our food and both the female and male owners came out. The female had an attitude as she told us that we could not sit at their tables. The male followed quickly with "how dare you guys bring our competitors food and sit at our tables. We pay a lot of money for this spot!" My sister responded with "oh sorry! We had no idea this wasn't a public place." We started packing up our food and kids as the two others stood nearby and watched us. I said "we are not from here, I feel like you guys could have gone about that a lot nicer." The female laughed and the male immediately started yelling and cussing at us. He told us to "get the fuck out and go back to your own state." My husband and brother-in-law both told them we were leaving and to have a great day. We were cussed and yelled at more as we all walked away, until we were out of eyesight. This was a terrible interaction that left all of us anxious, angry, and honestly really disturbed. Someone in the group said "there are kids, no need to cuss, we are leaving" and the male said "I don't give a fuck." There is no world where a business owner, let alone a small business owner should treat people this way. Even if the food is good, I would never go back after witnessing this happen to a family or seeing this type of review, so here I am to warn others. The disrespect and disgusting demeanor from these two managers, owners, employees, whoever they were, is not worth any food. Tacos & Mas was DELICIOUS! Don't let the gas station vibe scare you away. I hope the food leaves a better taste in your mouth than the disrespectful owners do. Our experience at Brunchies was a perfect example of there being three sides to every story: yours, mine, and the truth. We now know yours (Brunchies owners/employees/whoever you were) after you screamed and cursed it at our family, including small children, so now I'll share mine. We were passing through Sisters during a long road trip and looking for a place to feed our very hungry children. We originally settled on Brunchies, but realized it closed at 2 p.m. and didn't think we would make it in time, so we ordered ahead from Tacos & Mas instead (which had great food!). When we arrived, we realized it was a small setup inside a convenience store with no seating. When we walked out, we saw Brunchies nearby and walked over to check it out. It appeared to be part of a food truck pod with picnic bench seating. It was within minutes of closing, and there were tons of open tables with only one other group present, so we made the admittedly oblivious decision to sit and eat. Boy, were we wrong. A female owner/employee came out and said, "This isn't a public space," to which we responded, "Oh, sorry, we didn't realize!" Then a male owner/employee came out screaming and cursing at us, including, "Get the F*** off my property," "Get the F*** out of our state," and "How dare you bring the competition's food onto my property." We repeatedly explained that we didn't realize the seating was private, we weren't from the area, and we were leaving. As we packed up, he continued yelling. I repeatedly asked him to please stop screaming and cursing because there were children present, but he said "I don't F***ing care," and continued his rant. He was still screaming and cursing at us as we walked away, continuing even when we were about a block down the road. He also yelled something about, "Why is it whenever I speak up I have to be the a**hole?" Well, sir, the moment you start screaming and cursing at families, bashing another small business (your "competition"), and having children leave your establishment terrified is when you become an a**hole, to put it nicely. Our lesson has been learned. We misunderstood the setup, meant no disrespect, apologized, and will not make that mistake again. I hope theirs has been learned too, the situation could have been handled calmly and respectfully. Based on the extreme hostility the male displayed, however, I get the sense this isn't the first or last time he will verbally harass someone. So, to others planning to stop by Brunchies, it's a cute setup, I have no idea how the food is, but I would think twice about giving my hard-earned money to a business that treats people this way. read more

The food here is great. Service..that is another story. They literally will make you wait in a line without any sort of acknowledgment at all (other than a sign saying wait behind the line until called) or you get barked at if you go to the window and happen to have missed the sign. Most food trucks have figured out how to accommodate crowds. Take the order and let the customers sit down. No one wants to stand there ignored without anyone saying a word to you for 15 minutes or more. Tasty, but long wait ! Recommend. Came here 2x during a long weekend in Sisters. Almost no wait at 12p on a Saturday, 50 minute (waiting in line + for food) on a Sunday at 10a. Everything is made to order! Decent portion sizes and items are perfectly made--everything that should be hot & crunchy is hot & crunchy... the homemade milk buns are tasty. For someone who likes condiments, items are a little dry... Ample street parking, lots of patio seating & great view of Sisters while you wait. 1 porta potty w running water to wash hands. Great place! Food was made fresh to order, the breakfast tacos are amazing and the breakfast sandwich has a homemade English muffin. If you go you have to try the apple fritters-they are bite size pieces of heaven! So good! We love this place for a casual breakfast. This place is THE gem for breakfast sandwiches in Sisters here. Jackie makes her own Japanese milk bread buns and English muffins, that are to DIE for! They also offer lunch items that are insanely good too! Their permanent place now where their food truck lives is so well done with turf, cool boulders, picnic tables and shade structures. They even offer up desert items that you must try! Jaqueline and Jason are slaying it here. Every aspect about this business is perfect in every way. Absolutely Amazing food!!! They make the food as it's ordered, so there's a bit of a wait. But plenty of picnic tables, some with shade and fans pointed on them. I don't typically write reviews, but want to give this place a boost since it was so amazing! We just so happened to come upon it when looking for a lunch spot. My husband had the Karen and I had the chicken sandwich. The brioche bun was phenomenal and clearly made in house.
