I refuse to believe there are any other brunch options than Brunch Point. Because BP is the best. So good! Why get disappointed by anyone else's brunch when you are guaranteed tasty food and bev at Brunch Point?? Why? The variety! You want something sweet? They've got it. You want something savory? Have your pick! Not feeling mimosas? No problem, get the bottomless coffee. Not a coffee fan? The mango lemonade SLAPS! Bring the whole family, even your--well behaved--four legged members and have a seat on their outdoor mostly shaded patio! While I have a few go tos, I'm usually delighted when I order something new. A filling shareable is the Pulled Pork Poutine which is something I highly recommend for the protein lovers. My fiance will always order the Mahalo latte iced to reminisce on his Hawaii vacation. This most recent time I went with the Huevos Rancheros and man was I drooling! I'm pretty sure they make their own tortilla chips and salsa too! Fiance also changed it up and ordered the California Triple Decker Club sandwich. Guys, these portions are HEALTHY!!! While I can rave about the menu endlessly, what has us always coming back is the staff. This team remembers our dog by name and is the most welcoming crew in town, it's always so fun to catch up with them. I think we've been coming for over a year and it's easily become our favorite Saturday morning ritual. This place is so significant to us that my fiance even made sure we had breakfast here the day he proposed to me to kick off the day with good vibes!

This was one delicious brunch! It was my first time here and I really had a great time. Besides my food being really tasty. The mimosas was a great addition to our girls outing. Our waiter was super cool. Very nice and funny which made our time there fun! I got French Toast, Bacon, Hash Browns and Eggs. I left nothing on the plate because it was all so yummy. They have an indoor and outdoor patio, but I prefer their outdoor because it is super cozy!

Over all this place is cute. Nice open concept. Love the bottomless coffee bar. The apple cinnamon pancake rollup has great flavor. Potato's were a little cold but over all food and service were good

An unexpected treat! We found Glutenus Maximus on Yelp and were planning to go there. When we parked, we found Brunch Point and decided to give it a try first. So glad we did. (We did still go to Glutenus Maximus afterwards too for to-go treats.) We were seated immediately and the server promptly took our drink order. Our orders also came up quickly. Service was great. It was a typical loud breakfast place and the ambience was nothing to write home about but overall was enjoyable. The food was great. We all loved the homestyle potatoes. I had the Lox Benedict and it was great. My husband said the burger was good too. Definitely a good place to check out if you're in the area.

I've seen this restaurant pop up on my yelp for a while. We happen to be in the area and decided today was the day to try it out. We were seated right away. I decided to try the biscuits & Gravy, my daughter got the stuffed French toast and my husband got the Chilaquiles Verde. The food overall looked good and appealing. My daughter and husband liked their meals. But I didn't like my food. The hash browns were warm not hot. They were not crispy even though they looked like they were. I asked for my 2 eggs to be over easy. And I got one over easy and one over medium. I asked the guy who brought out my food for a new ketchup bottle because the one on our table was empty and for some cholula. He brought out the ketchup right away. But he walked around looking for a bottle of Cholula. Gave up and walked away. Never to be brought out. I looked over to the next table and just asked them if I could use the bottle they had on their table. But I was irritated that the guy just walked away. My biscuits were nice and soft. But the gravy. I didn't like the flavor of the gravy. I was expecting a pork sausage gravy. This was more of a Kabasa sausage gravy. It had a strong flavor. And I just couldn't get into it. I also noticed right away the gravy wasn't enough for the size of the biscuits. The gravy was thick. They also had a self serve coffee area. A line of thermoses with different coffee flavors. I got a cup of coffee and knew right away it was not hot enough. The coffee was lukewarm. I had asked if they can brew a fresh pot of coffee so it was hotter. But it never happened. Our server was nice. But he was all over the place. He was so busy. Overall my thoughts on this restaurant are. The food and coffee need to be hotter coming out. All the workers need to come together and ask the tables if they need anything especially if there are only 2 waiters. The waiters needed help.

Loved this spot here! The customer service was friendly and helpful. The coffee is self serve but the quality is delicious. The food was tasty, flavorful. The ambiance was pretty chill. Lots of tables and they have outdoor seating. When I come back again and I will definitely again.

Well, I happened to be in the area and I needed to find a place to take my mother in law to treat her for her birthday. Searched up the area nearby and there it was Brunch Point. We showed up and we had the option of eating inside or outside. Seems like outside was the winning option for most of the people that arrived. This spot is definitely laid out in a spacious manner! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and were told we can pick anywhere we'd like. Jared was our server and he was on it! My MIL had to take a call so he made sure to come back with waters but waited til she was done to ask about what we wanted to eat. Prior to that he mentioned the self-serve coffee bar with a ton of options. I prefer my coffee cold so I had to ask if getting a cup of ice was an option and it was. Honestly, this menu may look small but man they have options!! I opted for my protein packed steak and eggs which was superrrr juicy and asked that my hash browns be extra crispy. As and you shall receive!! My MIL got the chicken fried steak and eggs, she let me try a bite and OMG that gravy was yummy I have a sweet tooth and since Jared mentioned the BP French Toast I could not help myself! Definitely a phenomenal option for a sweet tooth! Oh and one thing that stuck out to me was before we left he said dont forget to take yourself a cup of coffee to go. For me, SAY LESS! The coffee was sooo good! Ill definitely be coming back. I told my mom about this spot the same day I went.

Brunch here was excellent. The mimosas paired perfectly with the meal. The coffee was rich and flavorful with just the right touch of sweetness. The BP burrito really hit the spot; the chorizo had the perfect amount of spice and balanced well with the potatoes, guacamole, and sour cream. The relaxed vibe on a sunny day made it even better, and the service was excellent throughout.

Plentiful parking, friendly staff, creative menu... I got gluten free pancakes, eggs and bacon. (Failed at get photos.) The pancakes were dense even with syrup. The eggs were just ok, but the bacon was delicious! Friends got the waffle and the rolled pancakes. Both said they were heavy on the mascarpone cheese but were delicious. They both recommended extra berry sauce. They both took some home, so the portions are large. I would go back and try something different. They have a small menu for gluten free but it's a variety. I wouldn't get the gluten free pancakes again, though.

Brunch Point in Vista: Where Breakfast and Lunch Dreams Actually Come True...and come together. If brunch were a sport, Brunch Point would be one of the champions of North County. Tucked into an unassuming corner of Vista, this hidden gem (yes, really a hidden gem) somehow manages to feel like both your favorite neighborhood café and a foodie hotspot rolled into one. The Food: Your Taste Buds Will Thank You Let's just say this place doesn't play around when it comes to flavor. From the sweet, creamy, fruit-packed stuffed French toast that basically gives your soul a warm hug to the BP Omelette topped with a delightful hollandaise sauce--every dish is a mini vacation for your mouth. And if you've never tried pineapple mango upside down pancakes drizzled with condensed milk, prepare for a spiritual experience. Trying to be healthy-ish? They've got you covered too. Their Wellness Wrap is packed with enough greens and protein to keep your conscience clear and your belly happy. The chilaquiles? Still crispy under a blanket of tangy verde sauce. Pure magic. Coffee & Cocktails: Choose Your Fighter Coffee lovers, prepare yourselves: there's a bottomless coffee and tea bar. Yes, bottomless. And we're not talking basic brews--we're talking rich, flavorful roasts, honey lattes that taste like dessert, and Mexican mochas that give your favorite café a run for its money. More into brunch with a buzz? Their cocktail game is strong. Mimosas, sangrias, and creative concoctions that make it totally acceptable to start sipping before noon. Cheers to that. Vibes & Service: Warm and Wonderful The atmosphere is casual but stylish--like your effortlessly cool friend who always knows the best brunch spots. It's bright, clean, and filled with the kind of energy that makes you want to linger just a little longer. The staff? Super friendly, genuinely helpful, and clearly love what they do. Deals That Make You Feel Like You're Winning at Life Pro tip: show up early (7-9 AM) and your bottomless coffee is free with an entrée. Delicious and wallet-friendly? Yes, please Final Verdict: One bite and you'll understand. Whether you're brunching hard with friends or just want a killer coffee and a cozy spot to chill, this Vista favorite delivers every single time. Go hungry. Leave happy. Brag to your friends. Repeat.

So disappointing. Went for brunch (there were 4 of us). We were sat immediately and the staff was friendly. This review is la more so for the food. Lox Benny: it was ok. The salmon was extra fishy so it tru me off. Monte critsto: they ran out of turkey... so it was full of ham. Loco Moco: the gravy was SOUR. I don't know if that's just how they make it, but we've had that dish enough that it's not supposed to be sour. And the 7yr old had a teriyaki chicken bowl w/ fries. She enjoyed it. They offered to replace the loco moco, but she didn't wasn't anything else after that. It was a bummer bc the menu looked really good.

Service started out great, but it was a little hard to get our waitress's attention when we were ready for boxes and the check. I ordered the Avocado Toast & Eggs, which was a very generous portion and tasted great. I've never had avocado toast with strawberries before, but I really liked it! The restaurant itself is spacious and very clean.

Sometimes... you can go home again…read more Having graduated from Vista High in 1986, Allen's Alley was always a mainstay for weekend breakfasts or the mid week lunch. I moved away a long time ago and I hadn't eaten here in over 40 years. I was glad to see that it was still a running restaurant (though the name changed a while ago) staffed with some of the original cooks. I had to order my same order which consisted of 1/2 order of biscuit's and gravy, crispy hash browns and a single over-medium egg. I sat in the back, sipped on my coffee, and just wallowed in the nostalgia of that little hole in wall breakfast place that still serves a decent breakfast at a reasonable price. My entire meal with coffee was around $12 and that's a bargain anywhere. If you are driving through Vista, CA and you need a decent meal at a fair price, do yourself a favor and visit Mom's Kitchen (there a small framed photograph of it as Allen's Alley inside near the door - give it a gentle tap for good luck).

It has changed hands a couple of times over the last 10-15 years. We regularly ate here as part of our Vista rotation for breakfast/lunch, but we had a poor experience a little over a year ago, so this was our first time back to see how things were. I lasted Yelp reviewed in 2018. There still is a small counter for service inside along with four tables for four and one table for two. Six or so outside tables for service also. One table inside occupied and two outside when we entered. We were greeted by a very pleasant wait staff who were extremely helpful and efficient. We had waters, coffee, Tea, very quickly. Coffee was very good with an assortment of creamers to choose from. I ordered a special Omelet with Chorizo and cheese off their chock board. Side of fruit ($2.50 up charge) instead of potatoes along with Rye Toast. The Toast was just one slice of bread. $17. My better half had the pancake combo, two pancakes with two eggs over easy, one sausage patty. $14.50. We enjoyed the food and service. The prices were fair for the portions and quality of what we ordered. We will add Mom's back into our Vista rotation.
