Love this cute little place in Vista. The service was great and the food was even better!! Not too crowded and our food came out quickly.

The food was delicious! I ordered the lobster Benedict and my husband got the green omelette. Everything cooked to perfection. The hollandaise sauce was perfect, not overly lemony like you find in some places. Reasonable pricing. Delicious hot coffee!

First time here. I had chicken fried steak which was delicious. Definitely will be back.

Another great visit! We went for a light breakfast...ended up trying a bit of everything. Delicious food, great service, and comfortable vibe. The price for quantity and quality was a steal. Big standouts were the stuffed French toast and Nutella French toast. The share plates became a war zone, and I barely got to try some of it. Will definitely come back when I'm in this part of town!

This breakfast spot is located in a quaint center with its own parking lot. I enjoyed my avocado toast, served with lemon zest, sesame seeds, and a delicious fresh-tasting pickle, which was a delightful touch. They also offer plenty of hot sauce options, which I appreciated as a fan of spicy food. They serve both breakfast and lunch all day until closing, which is a great option. My friends and I arrived on a Saturday, and it wasn't super busy. We didn't have to wait for a table, and the food at our table came out quickly. I also love how convenient this place is to where I live.

First off let me say that I ate here a week ago and I forgot to leave a positive review, the very next day I was out and about and I didn't feel like grabbing a fast food breakfast so I opted for Denny's....well that was a mistake. If you're a Vista local or even in the surrounding areas of Carlsbad or San Marcos, this little spot is totally worth it. It's the PERFECT little lunch or breakfast spot. So many good offerings as well as daily/weekly specials they post at the register. Now I understand Denny's is a "go to" for many people, what I'm saying is quit wasting your money on Denny's and come grab some food that has heart. The plates and portions do not disappoint. They seem to take pride in what they serve and that my Yelp friends is what it should be all about. Valeria at the counter has such a great personality as well.

There's really not much to say! it's a basic diner. Good, clean, friendly. If you're in the area and you are hungry it would be good place to stop by and grab something quick.

Hands down best breakfast in north county. This is my home away from home. Locally owned. Owner operated. My son and I come every weekend. Sometimes twice . Try the Ensenada omelette! Fresh chorizo and amazing home fries! My son loves the chocolate chip pancakes . Feels like family here. I love you AM goodness!

Very satisfying experience all around! One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. Mexican Benedict with poached eggs over an amazing pork and cheese tamale. So flavorful, rich and a tad spicy. My wife had the biscuits and gravy which was also good, but the biscuits could use a bit more gravy. Can't wait to come back.

Everything is great! Customer service, quality of food, quantity, & consistently good each time! Thank you for AM Goodness for being our new neighborhood breakfast spot!

I came here for breakfast with friends. We ordered at the register and took a number to a table of our choosing. They brought us our dishes at our table. I ordered the avocado toast and thought it tasted good. It was the first time I've had avocado toast with a pickle and I actually liked it. I just wish they had more bread options for the toast. Their prices and food portions are good. The restaurant is small with indoor seating only.

Green Omelette w/ fresh avocado slices on top on the left. Great potatoes choices! And, sourdough toast!

Husband found this place and based on today, it's a breakfast keeper! For starters, it was Sunday at 1:30pm and we were so glad they serve breakfast till they close (at 2pm)! Two of us chose omelettes, one had a breakfast burrito. The food including the veggies and the avocados was so fresh and as good as "made at home"! The tortilla was even a wheat tortilla!!! The 'salsa' was good. They serve both regular and dark roast brewed coffee. They do sell espresso drinks but we don't try those this time. You order at the counter and the young man who took our order was so helpful. We definitely want to come again!

The stuffed French toast is fantastic!

Sometimes... you can go home again…read more Having graduated from Vista High in 1986, Allen's Alley was always a mainstay for weekend breakfasts or the mid week lunch. I moved away a long time ago and I hadn't eaten here in over 40 years. I was glad to see that it was still a running restaurant (though the name changed a while ago) staffed with some of the original cooks. I had to order my same order which consisted of 1/2 order of biscuit's and gravy, crispy hash browns and a single over-medium egg. I sat in the back, sipped on my coffee, and just wallowed in the nostalgia of that little hole in wall breakfast place that still serves a decent breakfast at a reasonable price. My entire meal with coffee was around $12 and that's a bargain anywhere. If you are driving through Vista, CA and you need a decent meal at a fair price, do yourself a favor and visit Mom's Kitchen (there a small framed photograph of it as Allen's Alley inside near the door - give it a gentle tap for good luck).

It has changed hands a couple of times over the last 10-15 years. We regularly ate here as part of our Vista rotation for breakfast/lunch, but we had a poor experience a little over a year ago, so this was our first time back to see how things were. I lasted Yelp reviewed in 2018. There still is a small counter for service inside along with four tables for four and one table for two. Six or so outside tables for service also. One table inside occupied and two outside when we entered. We were greeted by a very pleasant wait staff who were extremely helpful and efficient. We had waters, coffee, Tea, very quickly. Coffee was very good with an assortment of creamers to choose from. I ordered a special Omelet with Chorizo and cheese off their chock board. Side of fruit ($2.50 up charge) instead of potatoes along with Rye Toast. The Toast was just one slice of bread. $17. My better half had the pancake combo, two pancakes with two eggs over easy, one sausage patty. $14.50. We enjoyed the food and service. The prices were fair for the portions and quality of what we ordered. We will add Mom's back into our Vista rotation.

He checked on us frequently in such warm and friendly way - he really made our day. The Brunch Point venue is open and airy (great breeze blowing through), clean and contemporary. The outside patio is comfortable and perfect mix of shade and sun. Excellent food choices with really creative (and delicious) options - sweet savory or spicy. Fresh ingredients prepared with the perfect touches make for delicious dining! Our food came quickly and was perfect and beautiful too. Nice cocktail choices and non-alcohol cocktails too. See pics of my BP waffle below it was a complete work of art! Delicious too! The help yourself coffee bar is a brilliant idea. Never wait for coffee! There were about 8 coffee choices, both caf and decaf. Hubby said coffee was very good, unfortunately the containers ran dry too quickly and I never tried any. Next time! Right now their hours are 8 am -3pm. Yummy breakfast/brunch all day - and super reasonable specials too - look for chalkboard with specials. They are hoping to make dinner again in the near future.
