I live in the US, so I didn't really eat any of the food here, but I took my family so they could have a classic American brunch on a holiday. They ordered a bunch of food and seemed satisfied with all of it. Fresh croissant which actually really tempted me, and great pancakes too. The mini pancakes looked really cute. Portion sizes were huge, so I'd definitely recommend going for one of the combos and splitting it between 2 people. Note, this place is really aesthetic and cute on the inside. Photo op!

This place was packed! I had the meal that included the ham omelet, fruit, and pancakes. It was very filling. It came with a juice or coffee- the juice was out of this world! It was the perfect way to start our day! There was one server, and he worked very hard to please everyone!

Strawberry and banana pancakes

Everything we ate was totally delicious. Particularly recommend the English breakfast, but everything we ordered was great.

In my top ten meals. Smoked salmon eggs, fresh fruit, buttermilk pancakes, fresh squeezed OJ and café Americano. Perfection.

Came here with my girlfriend after finding this place here on yelp. Walked in mid afternoon on a Monday and the place was empty, which we found interesting. We ended up getting the Benedicts, which were both delicious and two smoothies, which were good, not great. I would definitely come back because the food was delicious, their "egg yolk sauce" was amazing (hollandaise sauce)

Incredible food. The mimosas were giant and made with fresh squeezed orange juice. Hey

Gahhh delicious!! We so enjoyed this cute little spot. Great price, great portions and loved that with each meal you not only get many food options together, even the coffee a choice of juice comes with! I had the scrambled eggs with salmon, came with mini pancakes, bread and fresh fruit. Husband got a plate with eggs, sausage, and fruit as well. Tea that was recommend by our awesome waiter was so yum!

This place is a YASSS honey. Cute atmosphere + a sketch wall + pancakes = breakfast heaven. I had scrambled eggs, my friend had an omelette and the other had a bagel sandwich- all were good. The best part were the pancakes. If you are a US traveler you will understand me when I say most restaurants outside of the US don't know how to cook pancakes- the texture is always off. Not here. The pancakes tasted just like home!! I was so happy. If I am ever in Lisbon again I will definitely be back! Also, we had the sweetest waiter ever! He was so accommodating and spoke English very well.

Tiny place with great service and even better food! All fresh ingredients made to order. Everything was good, had to eat here two days in a row! Yogurt was so tasty, pancake with eggs and bacon, eggs Benedict, made with 1/2 an avocado (comes with a green salad) omelette tasty too! And the little chocolate molten cake, yum!!!! Go here. Go early, or you won't get a seat!

Tasty & well priced for a late breakfast. I had the potato chips omelette with some avocado on the side.

Manteigaria is a charming little shop that delivers one of the most satisfying and authentic pastel…read morede nata experiences you will find in Lisbon. What makes it special is watching the pastries being handmade right in front of you, which adds a level of freshness and craftsmanship that you can actually taste. The service was super fast and friendly. The pastel de nata came out perfectly, with that delicate flaky crust and warm custard that just hits differently when you know it was made moments ago. The espresso was equally impressive, rich and smooth, and the two together make for a simple but near perfect combination. If you are in the area, this is an easy and very satisfying stop.

Oh no. Am I the only one who doesn't like the pastel de nata custard tarts this restaurant is so…read morefamous for? The crust was super flaky and the tart was nice and warm out of the oven, but I didn't like the flavor of the custard. I did forget to add cinnamon to the top, but I don't think it would have helped me personally. The woman who stood next to me at the counter had a nearly orgasmic experience next to me, so it's obvious that my taste buds are apparently off. I loved the patience of the server, who got confused when I told her I wanted to eat in but wanted to take water to go. Note to self...Portuguese folks want to have their "to go" as "takeaway." What I also didn't know was that there was no place to sit!! I scooted down the counter just like all the other folks to watch the bakers prep the next gozillion pastries for the day. That was interesting. Then, I didn't know how to bus my dishes. I just left them on the counter like all the other folks and went away. I wouldn't skip going because of my personal taste buds, though. Enjoy it for yourself and let me know if you have a different opinion than I did!
