This Bruegger's Bagels has been here for decades, and was at one time worth going to. Unfortunately that is no longer the case. Despite renovations, the atmosphere is highly lacking. The spot used to feel like a small NY bagel shop, with exposed brick, wood top tables, etc. It was inviting this way. Now it just feels like any other corporate bagel shop. The bagels were fine, but since it's donning the corporate cape, you might as well eat at one of the other bagel chains in the area. Also, as is par for many fast food chains, the workers were high schoolers - the service was simply not good. There was no greeting, no "Thank You", no "Have a Nice Day", and no attempt for a patron to return. Last thought, the layout of the counter and POS (where you order), does not have a clear flow. There used to be an island which directed the patrons, but not anymore. Suggestion: Sell the building, opt for a smaller spot with a drive-thru, and strictly go carry-out. read more

Been awhile since I've been in... Stood in line 15 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. The older gentlemen who could barely stand couldn't take it anymore and left. I will never visit this location again. I stopped fora bagel yesterday and found their main entrance locked. There were customers at the counter so I discovered a side door. The staff didn't greet me or even make eye contact. The interior was filthy and made me hesitant about the cleanliness behind the counter. The Asiago Parm bagel was okay but they were VERY stingy on the cream cheese. From now on, I will go out of my way to Five Bourough Bagels and will skip this place. read more

Visited here on a Saturday afternoon to try a bagel and we were not disappointed! The two guys working were super friendly, suggested some items on the menu for next time, and were very chatty. We ended up sharing an everything bagel with light cream cheese and got it toasted as well. They were nice enough to actually cut the bagel in half (already sliced) for us since we were just sharing one bagel (and did it without us asking for it). Their customer service skills were really great and both gentleman did a great job. Our bagel was warm, chewy, and very flavorful. The everything seasoning was perfect too. One egg, cream cheese on each side of the bagel, a small thinly sliced red onion, cheese and lightly grilled until the cheese oozes out. The flavors are beyond satisfying. first off, i HATE leaving negative reviews especially because i grew up right down the street from Bruegger's & have been going there for 25 years now. this is one of my favorite places, the dining room is always clean, service is usually pretty quick & their turkey chipotle is a forever favorite. with that being said, i have ordered the same thing for pick-up through the app twice a week for the last few months... plain bagel with plain cream cheese & turkey chipotle on an asiago bagel... sometimes i opt to add a small caramel cold brew if the line is short when i go to pick up my order. (unfortunately, their cold brew has really missed the mark lately. its more like sugar water with some flavored syrup at the bottom.) but i always check my bag before leaving, just something i've always done as i want to receive the correct order & not take someone else's by mistake. the last 6 times i have picked up my order it has either been missing my bagel or my sandwich is missing ingredients. (i have been in the service industry for 16 years, i know things can get busy & mistakes happen) usually i'd be more understanding, but this was 6 visits in a row. i have let the young man working the register know each time & he is always very quick to correct my order! i've never had a chance to catch him name, but he is awesome, always in a great mood & makes sure i get the right order. today marks visit #7... i decided to order my usual from the counter, since the last 6 times my order has been incorrect. plain bagel with plain cream cheese, turkey chipotle on an asiago bagel & i did get a small caramel cold brew. (i had a phone meeting i had to get home for, so i didn't have time to check the bag like i usually do... lesson definitely learned after today.) after i pull out of the parking lot, i took a drink of my cold brew... it tasted like vanilla sugar water. i was already in mornin traffic, so there was no way i was turning around. upon arriving at home, i opened my bag, only to be more disappointed. My Turkey Chipotle was just bacon, chipotle mayo, lettuce & two trips of bacon... no tomato & no turkey. i did use my reward points for my free bagel & cream cheese ($4.09) bringing my total to $13.57 for my sandwich & coffee, both of which were incorrect. (i did leave a cash tip, per usual) like i said before, this is one of my favorite places to order from... so i'm still giving 3 stars. but only with the hope that by leaving some feedback they can address & fix the issues with consistency, the cold brew & makings sure the correct ingredients are being used. read more

Have went to this particular location twice in the last month and when I thought customer service couldn't get worse after the first visit, I was surprised to learn it could and did. Won't make the mistake a third time, that's for sure. Ordered cinnamon and sugar bagels and were told they were out of them even though we could see a basket of them sitting in the room to the side. This annoyed the employee so she told us we had to wait for six minutes for them to be done. She made us wait 15 minutes. Then, they tried to give us only 11 bagels instead of 13. The cashier refused to acknowledge us when we were paying. It's like this location forgot that they are in business to sell bagels. Save yourself the frustration and drive to a different Brueggers. The manager/owner of this location should be embarrassed and not surprised when it's out of business soon. read more

Been coming to this bagel shop for years! Bagels are always great as expected. Love it when they come out just nice and hot. I still haven't figured out the timing of when their hot bagels come out though. I usually just order a single bagel with cream cheese. I've tried all of them and I stick with my regular: blueberry with strawberry cream cheese. My favorite part about the bagels: that outer layer crunch (just right!) with a nice soft middle. Especially when hot! Never had their sandwich bagels. I don't like the coffee there so it's usually a bottled drink or I bring my own coffee. Service has always been fine; consistent, gets the order right, polite. Some days are busier than others but they maintain their consistent good service. Nothing above and beyond. Least busiest time to visit is Saturday 6-9am. Weekdays are most busiest, no matter the time. This location doesn't sell night before bagels anymore. Sad day. I looked forward to those to take some home at a discounted price. Store is always clean and well maintained. I like breakfast dates there, there's no time limit sitting and chatting for awhile. Outdoor seating when it's nice out or you can enjoy the Swanson Memorial Park with the train caboose right behind the shop. read more

My rating is more reflective if service rather than product. These are my absolute favorite bagels. I love love love the bagels. So I struggle with a 3 star rating- but I have to be honest; the service is not great. The employees are less then happy about being there- and it shows. Sandwiches are missing topics, buttered bagels come out with butter only on one half, or toasted bagels are burned. This has always been my favorite place for bagels. I used to go to the one in the Skywalk downtown all the time. This location is no comparison. My co-workers and I went in one day and the staff seemed to not even want to help us. We all got bagels with cream cheese on them and they were very skimpy with the cream cheese.
