I had the Sis Tavuk Chicken pita and an order of fries with sauce on the side. The fries were crispy and well seasoned and went well dipped in the tahini sauce. The chicken pita was DELICIOUS! I really really enjoyed my meal and highly recommend them. Unfortunately I was only in town for a short time but wish I could take them home with me! The lady working the window was friendly and efficient with taking orders and payments. They gave a little buzzer to notify you when your order was ready which did not take long.

Had food here when we were visiting Girdwood brewery. Falafel wrap (Don't Falafel Lift) and the hummus plate was bomb. The chicken wrap (Sis Tavuk Chicken) was also pretty good. Do try it out! Folks are super friendly too! Tip- Cash only

The food here was okay! It's more of a good vibes area. If you come here, I would recommend the gyro but the falafel is pretty good too!

A Culinary Delight at Everest…read more Located on Old Seward Highway, Everest stands out as a beacon for lovers of Indian cuisine. As soon as you step inside, you're enveloped in an ambiance that exudes warmth and authenticity, accentuated by traditional décor and soothing music. The waitstaff was impeccably dressed, inviting, and friendly. The menu is a delightful journey through India's diverse tapestry of flavors, and a buffet is available during the week. From the moment we took our first bite of the food, the rich spices and freshly grilled notes were simply mesmerizing. The butter chicken was a showcase of culinary mastery -- tender chicken in a creamy, tomato-based sauce that was perfectly balanced. The garlic naan bread was so delicious, we ordered a second basket! For those seeking something unique, the lamb biryani was an absolute revelation. Aromatic basmati rice layered with succulent lamb, enriched with saffron, was the star of the evening. Every dish is crafted with such care that it tells a story of tradition and passion. What truly sets Everest apart, however, is its impeccable service. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to enhance your dining experience. They guided us through the menu perfectly, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring that our glasses were never empty. In a world where dining out is often about convenience, Everest restores the joy of eating out with its exquisite food, charming atmosphere, and attentive service, while still catering to those seeking a quick meal by having a drive through. Whether you're a long-time fan of Indian cuisine or a curious newcomer, a visit to this restaurant will undoubtedly leave you with delightful memories and a yearning for more.

I'm giving them 3 stars because I really think they have a lot of potential and would love to see…read morethem succeed! We were so optimistic - they're a bit off the beaten path (away from the subway and craziness on the corner) - basically a food truck with a picnic table - plus no one was in line - perfect (we thought). There was a guy taking orders and a guy cooking and there was 2 of us - perfect (we thought). I ordered chips and salsa, 1 chicken taco on a corn tortilla, a side of rice, and a Diet Coke (which the cook said he had) and my husband ordered the house burrito. After a surprisingly long time, our order was ready and we were served 2 steak tacos and chips and salsa. What?! Wait, then he brought some rice but set it aside. I ended up eating the steak tacos while he made the burrito and I asked for the rice and now he wasn't sure he had Diet Coke and seemed a little put out about checking because now he had some more customers he was trying to cook for. When I got the rice I figured out why he had tried to hide them (he should have thrown the rice and started again) - I think the pan used to cook the steak was used then to warm up the rice because the rice was full of little burned, charbroiled pieces of something. The chips and salsa were good - no guacamole. My husband thought his burrito was ok - I didn't like the steak taco - should've asked to redo with the chicken I had ordered so that was on me. Hopefully they can turn things around - potential!
