My car's CVT malfunctioned on the way home from work. I was really blessed that Bruce's was around the corner from my job to drop it off and check it. Thank goodness Jorge let me drop it off before they closed. Jorge was very helpful and Amanda was really kind in letting me stay after they closed to wait for my ride home. I called Friday (no appt) to see if they could take my truck and they asked me to drop it off right away and they would get it done the same day. I dropped my truck just after midday on a Friday for tires and rims mounted and balanced, a set of new wheel sensors installed and a front-end alignment. They called me twice with updates (much appreciated), they made a recommendation on something to improve the looks, and I approved and they went and got the parts late in the day and then installed them. Thank you so much to the great staff who fixed my punctured tire. I went in early around 7:20 with no appointment and asked if my tire could be patched and Brandon was very helpful and accommodating. The service took roughly 30 minutes and was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend based on the convenience, time to complete service and staff. Had a great experience today as always with Bruce's Tire. This review is for Leonard who went above and beyond to make sure I left the shop with a peace of mind. After work today, I noticed my tire pressure light on. It's a super rainy day and had to get on Vasco. Called the shop 20 minutes before they closed and was told to come in so they could take a look. When I arrived Leonard was waiting for me. He took his time inspecting my tires, looking for any object that could have been there and thankfully my tires just needed air. He checked all my tires and filled them up too. Thankfully they let me stop by right before closing as I was really worried about my commute home. Huge shout out to the staff at this fine establishment. We broke down on the freeway and google directed us to Bruce's. So glad it did. The shop is clean, the staff friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent communicators. A check engine light issue was diagnosed, worked on, and when the issue couldn't be resolved at their shop (replacing a PCM, not something they do), they didn't charge us for the labor and provided a recommendation for taking the vehicle to finish the job. I came in Thursday morning with a flat tire from a pot hole on vasco that rode in terrible!!! I had to get my car towed which cost me $200!!!! Bruce tires was the closest to my work. My coworker recommend this place so I came in. Immediately they walked out and greeted me and they said we don't have the tire you need but we can order it and your car will be available Tomorrow morning. Today I walked in and they had my car ready gave me a print out of a summary of what they did and some suggestions. And they gave me the best deal ever. I will definitely be coming here again. I had a back window that would not roll back up and thought maybe the motor went out and also had an issue with my car keeping coolant in it. I went to Bruce's this morning and I had an amazing experience. The store manager Brandon is fantastic, he noticed I was sitting in my car and he came to me asking what he could help me with. This is the first time I've been to this location since it became "Bruce's Tire & Auto Service". I've been a long time customer of Ken's Tire where I always had honest and reliable service. After realizing it's not longer Ken's, I called Bruce's to see if they could fix a tire on my Expedition. I drove over a large screw in the driveway and tires were basically brand new. Joe answered the phone when I called and told me to bring it down and I'd have just a short wait. Great! I inflated my tire enough to get there and was welcomed the moment I walked in the door. The Customer Service Manager, Brandon was awesome. I told him about the coupon online I'd seen for free tire repair and he told me I could use it. Yay! I gave Brandon all the updated information and settled in with the free wifi to get some work done. I don't think I was there longer than 20 minutes before it was all done. There was no charge and I was on my way. I can't comment on other work or charges for auto repair. However, I had a wonderful impression with Brandon's warm, positive attitude and won't hesitate to return for other repairs or an oil change. I had a great experience with Bruce's shop - at about 3:15 PM on my way back to San Francisco from a Mammoth lakes hiking weekend, the aluminum "plate" mounted below the engine/oil pan on my Honda Civic detached at the back and created a loud unpleasant scraping noise. I looked up nearby service stations and Bruce's was close so we limped (slow speed, flashers on) there and were greeted by two very friendly and knowledgable service attendants. They arranged for their mechanic George to put the car on their lift, and he removed the plate quickly and expertly. In addition to friendliness, efficiency (the entire experience was less than 30 min) and expertise the service guys declined to bill me! Wow. So I was at work at The Lab in Livermore when my work was interrupted by a phone call. "John, I have bad news. The left rear of your car is on the ground" I work with excellent people, and the phone call was from the maintenance folks. They offered up their mini air compressor, and another colleague chimed in that he had a tire repair kit in his car. We were able to fill the tire back up but could not find any puncture or anything. So with the tire now full of air again, I drove over to the closest tire repair place, Bruce's Tire & Auto. When I got there and parked I realized that in my haste I forgot my wallet. I went in anyway and told them I was the guy that just called and just realized I forgot my wallet. He responded that if it was just a repair not to worry about it. This turned out to be the case, and my car was ready and done within 20 minutes at no cost for the repair. I thanked them, and was on my way. The next morning the tire pressure light was once again illuminated. This was during the first days of the colder mornings so I figured it was just the cold making the tire lose or think it was low on air. After work I stopped back in to Bruce's, calling on the way to explain the situation. The friendly employee said no problem just drive around to the back. The garage door was open and they waved me in. Once again within minutes all four tires were filled back to spec at no charge and was on my way. Great place, great friendly people and great service! It was my last day of work before going on vacation for two weeks in New York so I was very grateful I could go on with my travel plans with peace of mind. read more

I accidentally entered the establishment from the garage and a nice gentleman greeted me and guided me to the service desk. 2. I met Brandon who was all smiles and courteous to get my request started. Joe gathered all my information and got the ball rolling. Was heading back to work after lunch and got a low tire pressure warning. Pulled over only to see the head of a large screw sticking out of my back left tire smiling back at me. I quickly pulled up Google maps to see the nearest shop near me that did tire repair and gave these guys a call to see if they were open. They told me they were open, that tire repairs could be done via walk in, gave me a quote over the phone and invited me to come on down. They are pretty easy to find... Just turn right at the light by the Jack in the Box and then they are on the left with big signs on the windows (can't miss it). Drove the short ~1 mile trip from work over there and was greeted immediately at the front desk. They seemed pretty busy but we're able to get to me within a minute or two of waking in. After a quick look at the puncture in the tire, they pulled the car around to the shop to repair, saying it would be less than 30 minutes. About twenty or so minutes later I was getting my receipt and heading back into my car and back to work... All in less than an hour between the time I first called and the time I was out the door... Including driving over there! First: Brandon, thank you so much for all your help today--you're the reason I will be bringing my car into Bruce's from now on! I purposely stopped here after work based off all the excellent reviews to get my tires checked out & filled with air. Just before I could walk completely in the store, Brandon greeted me & asked what I needed help with. I told him I just needed air in my tires because my car wouldn't shut up about low pressure, and he instantly told me to drive around back to help. I met him outside and he quickly helped me get back on the road even though I neglected to say my tires were nitro-filled--slightly different process than air, but was no problem for him. Surprisingly (but honestly shouldn't be, right?), the store was very clean and inviting. The other employees seemed great, but it was awesome to see Brandon be the one to help me from start to finish. Even though I didn't seem like it, Brandon was still very very personable, understanding, professional, and efficient--and I'm very grateful for your help. I was struggling to figure out why one of my tires was slowly leaking. I checked the tire for nails or debris a few times and couldn't find anything. So I took it in to Bruce's tire and Brandon and Spencer took care of it. Spencer found that the valve was leaking. As a cautionary measure he replaced both of them even though only one was leaking.
