4/21- Went to get new tires and was given the option to finance because I did not the funds for the whole amount they said they will settle the details at pickup. Want told to finance and left the truck. Came to get the truck and got denied financing. Okay well why didn't we check if I could finance before! Who does that?! Now I said if I could split bill and I'll definitely pay but the said NO. Okay then I said put the old tired on and they said they already threw the out! Where did the throw them in the few hours they have the truck that I couldn't get them back. I will gladly give back the new tires. The worse part is the wouldn't release the truck! They holding it! So now I'm carless because they stole my truck! I'm willing to work something out but they just have the worse attitude. I've been a customer before and never experienced this. They also never gave me the paper I signed when I left the truck who knows if them holding the truck is even legal! Do not do business with them! I will talk to the business bureau. Update: 4/27 still do not have the truck and the refuse to release it and they will not help find a solution. Got a call about my bad reviews and charging me storage for a truck they won't give back not to find a solution. Update: 5/1 still won't release my truck. Ive contemplated writing this review for almost a week now. I felt it needed to be said so others aren't taken advantage of in the future. My husband and I brought our vehicle in for a new set of tires last Saturday. We called ahead of the appt and confirmed they had the tires, quoted, "1600.0@ and change out the door." Great, made the appt for 1pm. We arrive and are assisted by Thomas. He promptly begins some random chatter about all these vehicles always being black, he prefers mini vans and doesn't prefer daylight savings time. He continues the banter as he taps the screen for us to tap our card when I notice the charge is now over 1900.00 ! What wait, it was 1600.00 and change out the, what happened. "Oh lol they must have forgot to mention the certificates of repair charge, you have to buy them They are 216.16 for four. " "Here, let me see what I can do here to help us out a bit...(Well your website never mentioned that and neither did the rep on the phone. )He works the system a bit and offers 1790.00 and asks "if that is more affordable for us." It was never about being affordable, now the experience and Thomas feels shady and uncomfortable. I asked him to stick with the price we were quoted and he says this is the best he can offer. We have come here many times over the last 10 years to buy tires and rims etc. Frankly, This experience has soured us to Big O Tires. You don't try to cheat your customers, be upfront about your pricing and stick to what you quote them. I have placed a call to their corporate office to advise of the practices being done as well. I will update once I hear back. I would not recommend this business. UPDATE: I had the pleasure of speaking to the GM, Johnny today. Such a kind, professional gentleman. He recognized the issue right away and made it right. He was very apologetic about the issue and strongly assured me it will be addressed with his staff. I help a local charity Tri-Valley Seek & Save, whose mission wto prevent vulnerable families, particularly single mother, from losing their children to the foster care services. We recently cleared out junk for a family whose home had suffered a fire. I brought in some tires I needed to dispose of and Eddie donated/waived the disposal fee. He also helped us with a deal on new tires on the box van we use to serve families in need. It's a blessing to have local businesses that care about our community and show it through their actions. I personally have used them in the past due to their prices, timeliness and trusted services. I received a low tire pressure warning for a tire on my truck. I headed to Big O where I have been going for years. The service has always been great. This day was no exception. I arrived at about 5 knowing they closed at 5:30. I thought perhaps I picked up a nail and would need a patch. Turns out the sidewall split completely while in the service bay. Two things of note: I was able to get 4 new tires in a little over 30 minutes. No complaining, no comment that they can do it tomorrow. The team just got the job done that day and stayed a bit late to install the tires. Second, Rachel recommended the Big O A/T 2 off road tire noting how quiet the tire is when driving. Called in the morning looking for an appointment for AC system service. They had time for me, they asked that I bring the vehicle in. Dropped off the car about quarter to 10:00. They gave me a quote to check the system for leaks, evacuate the system and fill it with refrigerant. I received a call about 4 and 1/2 hours later, that my vehicle was ready. No surprises, the amount that was due was exactly what was on the quote. AC is working great! Good communication. I won't hesitate to take my vehicle back here if there's something that they can do for me. read more

Our brakes were squeaking on our suv so we took it in for a break inspection. They told us that we needed to replace the rotors but the pads were fine. They said it wasn't a safety issue so we decided to wait till we got back to home (out of state). Come to find out, the right rear pad was worn down on one side so far it was metal to metal. So they should have put a new pad on the right rear but they said it didn't need pads and wanted to make the big money on rotors. What a scam. Don't go here. read more

I was looking for a specific set of tires for my WRX. They help find me my Continental Sport 02s. Got them installed, got me balanced and an alignment in no time. They even asked if I wanted nitrogen in the tires. Just under 6 months later they are checking the balance and alignment for me just before my road trip. I've gotten a couple sets of tires through this big o; and they keep going above and beyond for me. Previously I was headed out of town and saw my trucks tires were low on air but I needed to be on the road and swung in and they just aired them up and refused to charge me. Again today with my wife's sonata I had a simple problem with the brake lights staying on and i found the problem bought the little part that needed to go in; but my back would let me contort under the dash to replace it. Took it in the salesperson just came out to look; and swapped it out for me; he refused to charge me. Made an online appointment with a quote for a new set of tires. Price quoted was $776 not including the tire alignment we wanted. This was with their special of "buy 3 tires get 1 free". This quote also included all of the random extras like tire disposal fees, mount and balance etc. Found out after calling, the alignment costs $129 if it is deemed needed. Total cost should be around $900. Great. Booked the appointment quickly for the next day. When we went in to pick up the vehicle, the invoice stated we needed to pay $1,291! Literally $400 over their online quote. We explained to them the quote we received, even showed it. They asked if we got it from a "3rd party". No. We got it from Big O Tires website. They had a bunch of other items on the invoice that we either never asked for and were never asked about such as nitrogen in the tire( $5 a tire) or items that were included in the total of the original quote then itemized again separately. Finally after 15 minutes of push back and showing them the quote again line by line where the items they were adding on were already included in our original quote, the gentleman "suddenly realized" he was incorrect and changed the total to $890. If we hadn't had the written quote on hand, I'm not sure we would have gotten what we were promised. I am giving this business 2 stars over 1 only because they eventually honored the quote but not until after a long unnecessary battle. My advice would be to be careful with this business and ask for a detailed quote BEFORE your service. Also ask for updates every step of the process with your vehicle so they can't add on extras without your permission. Will be taking our business elsewhere in the future. read more

Went in for a synthetic oils change, spent close to $100, they didn't even check the liquids, or rotate my tires the ad on the website is very misleading says $79 for oil change the you have to pay for an extra quart. They didn't take care of me or my vehicle properly. I had to ask why they didn't rotate the tires the guys was like you didn't ask I'm like it says it in the ad, does anyone know how to do their job anymore?! read more

I had an appointment for an online change. I arrived early and there was maybe one other person there when I arrived. He said it would be quick...two hours later still waiting. A angry customer walked in from a previous day claiming they didn't top off her fluids. I ask for the third time how much longer and he said oh we had to go get an oil filter not sure. This whole time waiting on an oil filter. I got out of the after 2 1/2 hours with a morning appointment. Customer service was lacking and communication. Not returning to this store. read more

It's been a while since I used this facility. And the selling is next level, worse than a used car dealership! All I needed was 4 new tires. They added a Front wheel alignment, something NOT needed. He said they would remove it if it's not needed. I said it's not needed, the car has NO ISSUES going straight! They did the work and charged me anyways! They called me and said I needed a brake flush and new air filter, more B.S., as the car was just serviced months before, which included a brake flush and air filter! read more
