I've used this location multiple times and have always had a great experience. Most recently, my tire pressure light came on, and they quickly checked the air and determined that I didn't had a flat tire. I've been an America's Tires customer for over 20 yrs all over the Bay Area and appointments were often always stressful no matter which shop I went to. Livermore store has been the GAME CHANGER! Appointments slots always available and when I do go to appts, they start on time and don't take too long. For today's appt, I preordered 4 Michelin tires online a few days prior. Unbeatable price! They offer price matching if you find a lower price. The day before my appt, Thomas gave me a courtesy reminder call to tell me what to expect on day of. Also, there is a link on day appt that shows your appt progress and you can notify them you're in your way. Upon arrival, there was a sign with my name on it for parking. Thomas came and greeter me right away and I proceeded to a smooth check in. Place was clean for me and my toddler daughter to draw. They finished up my new tire install within 30 mins. Kevin assisted us with great service ! We went to get some tires for my gf & initially we were only going for 2 tires but came out with 4. Kevin broke it down from how much miles the tires would give. She bought 4 Mohave ties & we added the tire insurance because in the future it's cheaper than buying a whole new one if goes out. Not my preferred location but it was the only one with plenty of open spots to schedule an appointment the next day. Every other location around the Bay Area had availability until the 4th week of September. That's way too long to wait for a nail in your tire and a rotation & balance. I'm writing this review as my vehicle is being serviced. With a three o'clock appointment and it is now 3:18 and my vehicle is done. This is the fastest time my vehicle has ever been serviced. I might become a regular here if they continue to have last minute appointments available even though it's a bit of a drive from where I live. read more

I went in with a low pressure tire light on. We filled the tires but noticed the tread wear. I wasn't looking to get all four tires changed but after considering the age of the tires, tread wear and the fact that I drive my son to his cancer treatments the most, new tires were needed. This was my second visit to this America's Tire location. The first time, my car had to be towed in with a flat tire, and they took great care of me. So when I noticed a punctured tire recently and happened to be nearby, I gave them a call even though it was a busy Saturday. Morgan answered the phone and went out of her way to help me get a same-day appointment. Super helpful and kind. The tech who worked on my car (wish I caught his name!) was also fantastic patched the tire efficiently, explained everything clearly, and honestly answered every question before I could even ask. It's my third time to deal with tires in the past 6 months. TLDR;this shop is much better than the other 2 "5 star rating" tire places I went to(Seeva and Sons, Valley Tire Service). I brought in my parents' Tesla model Y to have the tires replaced on an early Saturday morning. Didn't have an appointment and Thomas greeted me with a smile. He went over all my options and at the end recommended the OEM tires with a very competitive price. When I explained that I had to get the car before 11:30am, he went out of his way to make sure the foreman is aware of the timeline and committed to it. The staff was very professional and it was nicely done. They are very efficient and I highly recommend this place. Seeva and Sons: chaotic, very unorganized, made customers wait for an extended period, not cheap. Valley Tire Service: quick service but charged me $70 for a flat tire repair because I have a Tesla? I initially went to the Fremont location, where I live, but they were very backed up. I called a few other locations as well, and most had wait times of three hours or more. Even though it was a bit farther, I decided to reach out to the Livermore location, where Jake let me know the wait would be about an hour. On the drive over, my daughter fell asleep, and Jake went above and beyond by coming out to assist me so she could continue sleeping. The entire process took about an hour or less, even though my flat tire needed to be replaced and a few other tires were found to be balding as well. Jake did everything he could to help with pricing and made sure I was taken care of as quickly as possible. I had a wedding to attend the next day and absolutely needed this handled that day--especially while juggling everything with my one-year-old. The team was incredibly accommodating, understanding, and efficient. Exceeded my expectations in every way. I took my Tesla to the Livermore shop for removing a nail that got stuck in the tire. Manager (cannot remember his name) explained that since it is near the edge, it cannot be repaired. I was not convinced and wanted to take it to a local shop or take it to Costco from where I had bought the tire. He was patient enough to explain again and mentioned it was a safety issue. They will not let me drive the car and changed the tires for free. I felt bad and wanted to pay at this point but they did not accept the payment. i usually go to the dublin location, but per usual they didn't answer the phone. i had 4 new tires ordered to the store, and when i got there to get them installed, i was in and out in 20 minutes. i spoke to multiple guys on the phone, all of which were super respectful and helpful. the shop is full on young-ish guys but they're all very professional and work very quickly and efficiently. will definitely be coming here from now on read more

One of my tire popped on the my F-150. I was towed to American Tire at 9 PM, after a horrible experience with Metro Towing. The next morning I was happy to see my car there and even happier with the customer service at American Tire. Customer service is friendly here, but not very detailed and the incompetence is high. I walked in, and place an order for my tires. They said they will call me in a week when tires come in. -I waited two weeks before I called them asking for it. They apologized, and said they didn't realize my tires were delivered. -service people was not very detailed. My pucks were not put back in place. Picked up my car after service was complete, and I noticed a clacking sound. I had to stop driving one mile down the road to see what was loose. All caps were never put back under the car so I had to crawl under the car to put it back. What on earth ?!! Thats an easy fix fine. That's just plain laziness. - my key was returned back to me melted. I am so upset!!!!!! I wasn't informed on why it was melted. The agent probably was not careful and left on an area that was hot! I will definitely not be coming back to this location, and was fooled by the good reviews. I have had my tires done by America tires for over 20 years, and never have I had this issue before with their work. Be cautious of this location. Just double check their work, and you'll be fine. After 3 weeks I ran over a chunk of sheet metal and ruined one of them. I put on the donut spare and went there just as they opened. Not only was I in and out of there in 20 minutes WITHOUT an appointment! They replaced the tire for free-and I didn't even get the insurance when I bought them! Got a flat tire on our way home from Pleasanton to San Juan Capistrano. Luckily was able to get off the freeway to the Exxon on First Street. AAA was on its way and I called America's Tire to see if they had tires in stock that would work for my Kia Niro. Daniel said they had several options in stock. AAA brought us to America's Tire. We opted for replacing not only the blown out rear left tire but also the rear right tire as well. Was told it could be up to 3 hours wait. We had a 6 hour drive to San Juan Capistrano so asked if there was anything they could do to push us up, we would appreciate it. No guarantees. They offer lifetime flat repair if you buy their tires. WRONG!!!! If you have a flat they will give you every reason in the world why the tire is unrepairable. Over the years I fell for this twice. I told my wife, before I brought my car there, that I would not fall for it again. Sure enough I got another lame excuse. They wanted to sell me a new tire for $300. I passed. Went to Big O . I was a regular customer, and I came and asked for a patch on a flat tire due to a nail. I am very familiar with what kind of flats can be fixed, and this one was clearly fixable. They refused to do it, telling me this was definitely not fixable, it would be impossible to try to fix it, and I instead needed to buy new tires. I took my car down the street to a different tire shop (Bruce's), where the mechanic took one look at the tire, told me it's fixable, and promptly fixed it the same day. He did not try to sell me tires, but told me I will probably need new tires within the year. America's Tire lied to me and tried to upsell me on tires by refusing to fix my flat. Be warned that if you come here and suddenly need new tires, they are probably not telling you the truth. I will no longer be a regular customer here. read more

I got a flat from a giant screw while on a road trip with my mom and son. AAA recommended this America's Tire, and they were quick to help. Jacob came out, checked the remaining 3 tires, and showed me the tread was dangerously low. I agreed to buy 2 tires thinking this was an upsell, but Jacob genuinely seemed concerned about our safety as we weren't even half way through our trip. I work in Livermore, i have came to this certain location many times. I have been disappointed MANY times by this place. Nice guys all of them but WHY make an appt to be told they are behind, prob wont get to me for 2 hours? I work just like they do. The location in Tracy, i had an appt went in the place was packed and they took me, replaced 4 tires and was back on the road in 50 mins. Thats good cust service. This Livermore location must be VERY poorly managed, doesnt seem like any of them have good time management. I wont go back to this location again. SAD read more
