Not only was the result unnoticeable but she didn't honor the 6 week touch up session. She just didn't return my repeated calls. So unprofessional. I have a mission that I call "I woke up like this", where I am trying to do as many semi-permanent aesthetic things as possible so that I can be as lazy as possible in the morning. I was not shy about asking Veronica to re-draw my brows differently, let me take a moment to think, or add something somewhere, and she was supportive and accommodating every time. I really appreciated that, particularly having my FACE TATTOOED (just call me Tyson). Price: probably the best you'll find for the quality in Connecticut. I did a lot of research beforehand. Pain: a lot of people have questions about this. Veronica does this in 3-5 "passes" over your brows. The first one is the hardest, and yes, it does hurt. If you expect even a semi-permanent face tattoo not to hurt you are a silly goose. The sensation reminded me of waxing, but a prolonged sensation instead of the quick "rip." Focus on your breathing and you'll be fine. She has stress balls. After that, the numbing agent is more effective and by pass 3 it just feels like a gentle scratching. I can see how people might fall asleep at this stage. End result: BROWS. ON. FLEEK. I'll upload a photo. I was so nervous, and it was so worth it. Excellent place. I knew as soon as I walked in that I was in the right place. The decor is beautiful, chic and cozy. I had an appointment and everything was on time. I ate a piece of chocolate that was in the waiting room and it was delicious! I met with the owner Veronica and she is one of the most friendliest people you will ever meet. She is genuine, nice and knows what she is doing. She is an expert and I am so glad I chose Brows for Life. My brows look amazing and she knew what was best for me. If you go there and you are not sure, she will know what looks good and what will suit each individual. I have been wanting to get my eyebrows for over a year and a half and I was nervous. Veronica made me comfortable and relax. Veronica then draws the eyebrows in by pencil to see the style you are going for and then picks out the color and gives you choices. She knew what was best and really does have an eye for these things. TRUST me! It did not hurt at all! It's amazing! I didn't feel anything on the right eyebrow. The left eyebrow to me felt like tweezing or threading. The reason you would feel it on the left side is because our heart is slightly tilted to the left. I forgot to mention that prior to all this a numbing cream was placed on my eyebrows. The whole appointment was a little under 1 hour from start to finish. I love them so so much! Veronica gave me instructions on how to maintain them for the next couple of weeks and not to worry about flaking. Please make sure not to pick at the flaking when this occurs, as it is only less than a week for when you see the flakes. The show must go on. Veronica even had pictures on how your eyebrows will look from day 1 to day 30. The price is very reasonable and Veronica is the best of the best. She is the creme de la mer. I am heading to my second session in a few days and can't wait. The second session does not cost anything as long as you go within the timeframe given. The website she has shows photos and is very well organized. All the information is on the website. I had set the appointment online prior to coming in. DO NOT GET SERVICES HERE. Very unprofessional. Went in for brow shading and microblading. Paid $550+. Pandemic happened and I could not go in for my 4 week perfecting session. I was promised by Veronica via email in April that I could get in once everything settled down (no extra charge) only to then be ghosted by her. I emailed her 4 times between May and June with NO RESPONSE. At this point I wouldn't even go back to her if she had contacted me back, she lost my trust, I just wanted to hear SOMETHING from her. The 5th time I emailed her (in July) I got a "mail was undeliverable" message. If you decide to get services from her, you are risking something like this happening to you. This is not the first time she has not responded to clients email per past reviews, and the only reason why I keep emailing her and not calling is because she told me that this was the best way to get a hold of her. I loath to post a negative review but I would hate for someone to repeat the same mistake I did. My eyebrows were microbladed by Veronica twice and I was very unhappy after each appointment. Although her salon was clean, I was extremely disappointed in my microblading results each time. I had a bad experience with Brows for Life the first time I booked with Veronica, but because her prices were affordable I tried again a year later for a touch up. I suffer from anemia and my eyebrows have always been very fine and sparse my whole life. During each appointment Veronica moved pretty quickly and rushed the entire session. She first critiqued the eyebrow shape I felt most comfortable with, and then acted frustrated when I tried to voice my questions/concerns. I wasn't pleased with the very first application, but I was hoping for better results the second time around a year later. My brows appeared even more uneven after the second application; most likely because she was reluctant to measure my eyebrow shape out with a ruler. I personally thought the shade she chose for my eyebrows was too dark but that could be overlooked. I remember crying on the way home after the second time because I should've trusted my instincts to not go back. I pointed out to my mom in the car how uneven and lopsided my eyebrows looked. We called veronica to expressed our concerns. I was reluctant to go back for my touch up the second time as I was so devastated with the immediate results and my past experience.
