April listened to exactly what I wanted, which was a natural look, and she made sure I was totally happy with the shape before proceeding. She happily made slight adjustments to the shape 3 times before we continued. The procedure was pretty painless, it just felt like a light scratching on the skin. I don't even know where to start. From the moment I walked in, April was so warm and welcoming. She meticulously mapped my brows, and graciously made adjustments according to my personal preference. I wasn't nervous, but she has a very soothing energy. If you are scared or nervous, April is the perfect girl for you. She'll talk you through all the steps, make conversation to put your mind at ease, and will always make sure you're okay with everything she's done before she proceeds. The first pass scared me a little because you do feel like you're being scratched, but I was immediately put at ease because she put the numbing cream on afterwards. After that, I literally felt nothing. I even almost fell asleep. It takes a couple hours, and I get pretty fidgety if I have to lay still for a long time. April frequently asked how I was doing and encouraged me to sit up and stretch if I needed to. The results are phenomenal! I might go a little thicker when I touch up, but overall I'm shooketh. In love. No pain or swelling afterwards, so far. I got dinner with my friends afterwards, and they were amazed at how natural my brows looked. I wear a full face of makeup every day, but I have been able to leave the house without doing anything. Just got them done yesterday, but I'm already enjoying the benefit of sleeping in an extra 30 minutes. read more

April is AMAZING!!! I was referred by a good friend and she's very professional and meticulous. I looked at her instagram and I liked how she shaped the eyebrows. Its been over a month after my 2nd session and my brows look really soft and natural. I don't usually wear heavy make up so this technique was best for me. Life. Changed. I've always hated my brows, they're so thin and sparse and I'm not that great with make up so I've never been happy with them. A friend of a friend recommended April for Microblading, I checked out her Instagram @brows.byapril and saw some before and afters she posted and the results looked amazing, so I just went for it and booked an appointment. The space is super cute with plenty of parking, getting in and out was super easy. April spent a lot of time showing me what my options were in terms of shape and color. I was set on an arch shape as I have always had pretty straight brows and never knew how to emulate that with make up. April completely changed the shape of my brows and gave an arch, I think it looks so much better! The whole process took about 3 hours and it wasn't too bad at all in terms of pain. It's been about three weeks now and I absolutely love the results, I feel so much more confident without make up and when I do put on make up it's so easy to just touch it up because the shape is already there. I have super fine, sparse eyebrow hairs so you can hardly see them. I used to fill them in every day and was VERY particular about my brow shape, so when I decided to get them tattooed I was super anxious leading up to my appointment. I had debated over and over again between the looks of ombré powder vs. microblading hairstrokes, but decided to go with microblading because I wanted something that looked more natural. I was so nervous, but April came through 110%! I absolutely love the way my healed brows look, it's so natural, nobody can even tell it's a tattoo! No more eyebrow pencils and wasted time in front of the mirror every morning trying to get them even - they're perfect all the time now the minute I wake up :) Throughout the entire process (initial appointment & touch up), April was so patient walking me through step by step. She worked with me to shape my brows to the exact specifications I was looking for and made sure she answered all of my many questions until I was comfortable proceeding. The tattooing itself was only minimal discomfort (I was shocked) and I was really impressed with her precision and how quickly she works to get you through the process. This was a total game changer for me, I should've done this ages ago. I just got my brows microbladed after seeing it on instagram a lot. I found April on instagram and im so happy I did! Once I got to my appointment, April made sure to ask what sort of brows I was aiming for. As a demonstration model for one of her students, I heard her give numerous tips and guidance that assured me that I was in good hands. April spent a lot of time mapping out my brows, making sure I was satisfied with the shape. She then went on to outline and fill in the brows. The process was relaxing as she made sure to check in with my pain levels and numbed when necessary. I made sure to follow the aftercare instructions she sent. Definitely appreciated the aftercare kit she provided, which had a shower visor, ointment, and cotton swabs. My brows healed wonderfully with good retention of color.
