I didn't want to make it thick so I lived with one thick and one thin. Lisa didn't make the mistake it was another place in Alhambra that messed it up. I just had my one year touch up visit today. To be honest, the only reason I came in was because of my upcoming wedding in April. I did not really think I needed a touch up until she actually touched it up lol *check the before and after picture* As always, Lisa is fantastic and does wonderful work. As a courteous reminder, please do not book with her and cancel last minute or a half a hour into your scheduled time. It is really rude. I used to spend a good 30mins to almost an hour just doing my brows everytime i have work or somewhere to go. That's a looong time because for 1, i want my brows to look nice & perfect like those make up artists... & 2, i'm not very good in applying make-up, let alone doing my brows & making them even--that was the hardest part for me! I am one of those unfortunate people born with sparse brows in a terrible shape, and I am also one of those people who USED to have to block anyone/anything from touching their perfectly draw in brows. Yep. Water was my worst enemy--but not anymore! I got my eyebrows done here last August when I saw friends who got their eyebrows done and it looked incredibly natural--that was my selling point. I have seen my fair share of badly tattoo-ed brows and honestly even after I walked through the door I was scared sh*tless and even played it safe by asking to tattoo is little as possible (my eyebrow tattoos are definitely not as thick as I would ideally want my eyebrows to be) PRETTY MUCH I love my eyebrows and this was one of the best decisions ever. They look incredibly natural and honestly no one knows unless I tell them. I didn't catch the woman's name but she was amazing. She was all for the most natural looking brows and really only filled in where it was lacking--deceiving all others with the semblance of brows!!! I have included my pictures because while I saw pictures of what it looked like immediately after (which tbh was not what I wanted my brows to always look like, a little too dark for me) I wanted to see pictures of about a year later. I have noticed that my eyebrows are starting to fade so I will definitely be going back for my 1 year touch up and to get them thickened (I was a fool to think I would still draw them in after I got them tattooed) PROS: (1) She whipped out a ruler to draw in my brows with a pencil prior to tattoo-ing. WHAT?! That was so hard-core I loved it. This was comforting because she KNEW what eyebrows should look like to frame your face. (2) While the tattoo was a little dark after the initial tattoo (and scabby) it fades really nicely and well. And they do use a different type of ink that fades true to color (i.e. you won't have to worry about having blue brows o_o) (3) NO ONE WILL KNOW!!! (4) The price for the initial tattoo includes a 1 month touch up which is helfpul. All I can say is take plenty of selfies to see what you want to fix. Anyway the only CONS: IT. HURT. Yes you get numbing cream but maybe I have no pain tolerance but it definitely hurt more than I expected. Only other con is it is kind of pricey, especially compared to other places I looked into but I trust this place too much. read more

I actually liked shading in my light hairs in every morning cause i already had a nice shape & brows make such a BIG difference! -BUT the days i did hate were the days im sure every woman here has gone thru! thats why they turned to permanent brows. ... UNEVEN brows!!!! during the day when i have that itch on my brow i cant scratch, i have to poke it with the corner of my acrylic nail cause after 5 hours it would get kinda greasy.. ladies yah' know what i mean! so the color doesn't rub off.. i admit i do know how to do my own brows already, so when i came in to get a consultation with Lisa, she liked my shape already and im sure that made her job that much easier! cause im sure girls go in there bare, and confused! you need to know how you want your brows shaped, 100% sure. you cant be 50/50 or you wont like the results. that simple. it has been a few months since my 2nd touch up session and so far so good. im HAPPY as long as they didn't look fkd up honestly. Why i knocked off a star. **After the first session they turned out beautiful! but gradually overtime the color faded dramatically and i noticed a patch that was missing.. and one side was thicker than the other :-/ problem was.. i preferred the thinner side.. but that was out of the question. 2nd time around i told her to fill in the patch and bring the other line longer to make them even. it looks great.. i still have to shade(charcoal brown, M.A.C) them in when i go out, so they have a more dramatic, sharp effect. but now it's just easier my makeup routine is easier. i can now focus more on other things than worrying if my brows are even or not! a con that i have come to realized is that you need to come into this really wanting to have this procedure done, it is a commitment. i can't shape my brows the way i want them anymore, its one shape only. there are days i wish i could do my brows thinner!!!!!!!!!! i look back and see my old photos, and loved my "Nike Check" BROWS!! i used to get compliments EVERYDAY on my brows when i did it myself, but now.. those compliments have silenced :-( i brought in my mother for her brows too, she had the traditional tattoo, and lisa did a great job on making her lines closer in width! she hid the old tattoo well. prices steep for the first session. $400 for each person, than i think $150 after that?? read more

So, I tried the eyebrow tattoo and it turned out pretty good...at first. People told me that it wasn't even on both eyebrows, so I figured I would come in for a touchup. Here are my reasons why: - The first time I called to make an appointment, she doesn't pick up the call. I called again later and she tells me to call back half an hour later. -__- - The second time I called to change my touch up appointment...same thing, she doesn't pick up the first time around. When she finally picks up and I ask to reschedule, she tells me I can't pick Mondays because the eyebrow lady doesn't work on Mondays. The ironic thing is...when i had my eyebrows done, it was ON a Monday! - The third time I called to talk to them about the appointment, she asks if she can call me tomorrow...I said "uh...ok"...and finally she says that she doesn't have the appointment schedule with her. -__- Their phone etiquette and customer service is JUST AWFUL! This review is based off my experience back in December of 2009. I researched online to find a good eyebrow tattoo artist and found 3d eyebrow. I also remembered hearing a friend of a friend's who had gone there. So I scheduled an appointment to see Lisa. I thought the consultation was good, then booked an appointment to get it done. I brought a friend with me since I'm anal and wanted someone who can see if my eyebrows were symmetrical since you view yourself in a hand mirror differently. Lisa was very rude and impatient during the experience. Everytime my friend said, "no this side is higher/thinner/thicker, she said, no its fine." I am paying $350 cash pre-tip for semi-permanent eyebrows. I think anyone would want them adjusted to their liking. She tried to make me think it was just me. That no one has symmetrical eyebrows. Yes, no one has NATURAL symmetrical eyebrows, but if you are tattooing them on from scratch then you can!!! For the second visit for my touch up, I brought a different friend and she also thought Lisa was rude. I never went back. And I also never referred her. I found a different lady in area, with whom I've already referred 8 people to her and all have loved her. If I were you and you are hesitant about doing any semi-permanent/permanent makeup you would want someone who understands your concerns and does what you ask. Its your face for God's sake! Honestly I don't even feel like giving one star. I have been thinking about getting my eyebrows done for a long time. I found this place on Yelp and called to make an appointment for a consultation. The lady on the phone said that she would be available at 5:30pm. I asked if there was an earlier time and she offered 5:15pm. I think this should've been my first clue as to how they run their business. I have been drawing my eyebrows for more than 10 years now so I was really excited to go on this consultation. I signed in and the lady at the front desk told me to wait for Lisa. I guess she had a customer or something. After a couple of minutes, she called us to the front desk and showed us 2 pictures as samples and ask us if we had any questions. Since my friend and I have never been to place like this, we are very curious about everything. Below were our questions: 1) What is the difference between a tradition tattoo eyebrow and permanent eyebrow? Lisa said: "Well, the tradition tattoo is cheaper." My friend and I were like..okay...again, what is the difference? She started to explain that the difference is the cost of ink. 2) If I would like to do it today, can you tell me how long the process is and what kind of tools you are using? Lisa said: "About an hour. If you would like to know what kind of tools and how I do it, you should take my class and learn about it." My friend and I were like...what?! 3) Can you please show us more samples? Lisa said: "There is no point at looking at more sample because everybody is different." We were speechless. 4) Are you going to draw a shape of eyebrow on me today? Lisa said: "If I have time I would, but my next appointment has arrived. Maybe next time." We walked out and thought, "what a bitch." Seriously, what does a consultation mean? This "consultation" lasted less than 15 minutes and took place right over the counter. You would think that if someone is going to put something permanent on your face, they should at least make the effort to make you feel comfortable. Bottom line is that we felt that she did not value our business and was just plain rude. You would think that with her prices being more expensive that other places, she would have the customer service skills to back it up. This is absolutely life changing!!! I like most people plucked everything away because skinny brows were IN during the 90's. I so desperately wanted to be able to leave my house with no makeup, but I have always been self conscious about my no brows!
