This is a great place! Really a wonderful place to take your family to. It's so nice to still have an operating drive-in theatre in the area...what a fantastic local gem! Snack lines can get very, very long, but the food was decent for the price. Every person we encountered was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a much more fun way to go to the movies... and it ends up being cheaper, too. Where else can you go see two feature films, for cheaper than you would pay for ONE ticket at the regular theatre? Also, you don't get the ridiculous sting of the food prices at the regular theaters. Rather than paying $20 for a popcorn and one drink, go see how much farther your $20 will go here. Highly recommend! Helpful hint #1--go early! They fill up fast! (A good sign, if you were questioning whether or not to go!) Helpful hint #2--Try the fresh cut cheese fries. They were pretty awesome, and they remembered to season them!

The staff was friendly and diligent about kindly enforcing their social distancing policies and answering customers questions. The parking spaces are 16 feet apart so there's a sufficient amount of space between you and other cars. They now use the FanFood app to order from their concession stand. I haven't ordered food yet since we arrived, but it seems straightforward. You pay through the app and not at the window. Two out of the three screens are currently playing double features. People wore masks when they were in close proximity to others. I felt safe the entire time we were here and would encourage others to visit and support this local business. Also as a plus, we are still allowed to bring our dog! We'll be back!

Though the entrance is a bit tight for a truck once you're inside it is spacious to move around be in. Another feature is that they had movies on three ginormous screens and played a total of six movies! Maybe not impressive to some but it was to me. The video played was all digital and the sound on the FM stations they used were loud and crystal clear. I was honestly surprised at how good an experience we had. This place makes me wish we had one of these I our area of FL.

You can also use your vehicle's radio, but beware of draining your battery. You can watch the movie from inside your vehicle comma or bring a blanket to watch from outside. Some people get creative and watch from the beds of their trucks, a van seat on the grass, etc. Before the movies begin, kids usually play together in the big grassy area in front of the screen -- where it's too close to park and see the movies. The whole place is kept very clean, and the snack bar is filled with all the "tterrific but horrible" movie theater offerings you would expect, including nachos, burgers, ice cream, and (of course) candy, pop, and popcorn! But, these prices are much more realistic and reasonable than at the walk in theaters. The staff is wonderfully friendly, and there have always been two working pinball machines when we visit! The audio and visual quality of the movies is always terrific. You'll also get to see some nostalgic advertising - like the countdown in between the movies, which I'm guessing is actually from the era it depicts. (If not, it does a great job at making it seem that way to a modern audience.)

Compared to that drive in, I definitely prefer this one! As much as I love it here, there are pros and cons, and lately the cons outweigh the pros. Some of the things I love about this place are not only the nostalgia, but the incredible menu they have at their concession stand! Some of the menu items include pizza, burgers, pretzels, nachos, ice cream, popcorn, hot dogs, candy, slushees, and so much more! I love the food here, and I never have a problem spending my money to help support a small business, however, we spent over $50 just on food here, and to me that is a bit expensive. My date and I went recently to watch the new Elvis movie and the new Ethan Hawk movie called "The Black Phone". The gates during the summer on Friday's and Saturday's open at 7:15, and since the first movie doesn't start until sundown, we decided to arrive around 8. When we arrived, we spent about 20 minutes waiting in line, which was to be expected. The line for the concession stand was out the door, which was also to be expected. Going to events like these, I tend to be more patient. I know most of the staff is young kids in high school working their summer jobs, so I do tend to be easier on getting angry over things that would upset most people. That being said, I think it would be great if the owners put in a bigger kitchen, because we got in line at 8:20 and as we were opening the door to our truck, after waiting in line for about an hour, we almost missed the beginning of our movie as it was just staring. The kitchen seems to be very inefficient, and a resolution to that problem would definitely be to get another one of those pizza ovens they have. So many people wanted pizza, including me, and they could only do one at a time. The staff got orders mixed up too, other people complained that they waited for over and hour for pizza, and that other customers were getting their pizza orders before people who were waiting a good while. The thing that made the experience very unenjoyable was everyone's lack of respect for the rules. I love coming here, and I have been for quite a few years now, but after last night I'm just not sure I want to anymore. The website for this drive in has a TON of rules, rules that I totally respect. Rules that honestly make a lot of sense to have! It's a shame that I was one of the very few people to follow them. At least a dozen times during the movie, my date and I were blinded by other drivers bright lights. Movies on other screens would end, and many people would leave, and turn their bright high beams on, totally blinding anyone in their path. This distracted me from watching the films I came to watch. There are many mentions on the website about being courteous to other patrons, by not putting on your lights during movies, and to not leave in the middle of the movie. So many people disobeyed this rule. At a certain point it definitely made me angry to keep putting my arm up to block the bright lights. What made me angrier, was that not one staff member even tried enforcing their rules. In fact, the staff made many disturbances too. Many times a group of staff members would ride their golf carts back and forth to the dumpster to dump trash, only to be loud and carrying on and laughing while I'm trying to watch the movie. So disappointed in how this drive in operates. It's definitely becoming less of a place for couples to go watch films together. I guess I'm just let down by the fact that they have so many rules, rules that could end with banning, no refunds, and even police involvement, and yet not one staff member is telling any disrespectful patron to turn their lights off or telling staff to keep it down. I doubt I'm be coming back here for a while if I'm being truthful, all of what happened just really put a damper on the mood with my date last night, and that was very upsetting to me.
