A perfect place to spend an afternoon or evening with your family! First, this ballpark is beautiful! Everything is well maintained and there are a lot of amenities like a sensory room and a playground. I love that this is a very family friendly, affordable way to enjoy time together, even with the youngest ones. They have a Kids Club that gives kids free admission on Sundays! But even without that, their tickets are very affordably priced. Food is also affordable compared to other similar attractions and there is a nice variety of options. A really fun and unique feature is the cookies and milk being offered during a mid inning break for only $1! Our family had a really great time at the Washington Wild Things Ballpark! Everything here was so clean and together. Our seats were close to the kid zone which was good for my littlest. You do have to pay $1 each time for the bounce houses but that was ok. We also really appreciated the more affordable food choices. Nothing like going to a Pirates game. There was so much entertainment in addition to the ball game. We all enjoyed ourselves a lot and look forward to attending a few more games in the 2026 season! read more

My husband and I have really missed sports since they shut down everything due to Covid. We were thrilled when we heard that the Wild Things still found a way to bring the fans in to the games. They've done an excellent job of implementing social distancing orders and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all their patrons. Seating capacity is limited and there's one concession stand open for all your snack needs. This baseball stadium is a gem just south of Pittsburgh and provides that small town feel. The stadium is really well maintained, clean, and there's ample seating. I would recommend a Washington Wild Things game for families who love sports! Went on a special night of my wife singing the National Anthem, with a great group of friends and colleagues (Mr. Magic Car Washes), and the season win of 1st place in an amazing game for the WWT. We brought the kiddos and had a good time. I know it's the frontier league - but the players were pretty good! Right after the game was over, they rolled out the champagne and beer and the guys had a great time expressing the win. The food was decently priced ($6 for a kids meal) The tickets were not badly priced. The price for jumping in the bouncy house was 5 minutes for $1 - however we were not allowed to go since they closed it right after the 7th inning stretch. I do wish they would of kept it open for the entire game. There also was a nice playground that was closed too. Only bad part was the milk was sour in the cookies and milk that we bought. read more

It's nice entertainment as long as you don't wanna eat or drink anything. Prices are through the roof and the food is limited selection and not very good. Not as good as last year. It's like they think we're going through Covid again. At least they won last night. read more

All you big city type folk who want to see what life is like in small town America should head about 28 miles from downtown Pittsburgh and go to Washington Pa and take in a Washington Wild Things game. This is what summer is all about, a classic ballpark that seats about 2000 people, watching 18-24 year old ball players, not overpaid, multi millionaires, crybabies, with greedy owners squeezing every penny out of the fans. Parking - 3 bucks Ticket - 12 bucks (right behind home plate, two rows from the field, and a waitress) Beer - 3 bucks Soft pretzel - 2.50 Total: 20.50 This is a great night out, these players make about $200 a week, and have to live with host families. They play their hearts out and love the game. read more

Girls, sometime you should take your dad out to the ballgame. You know, have a father-daughter evening. I did just that last night, taking my dad here for a belated Father's Day gift (I was in Ireland on Father's Day). We had a nice evening here, perfect weather, and we saw the WWTs (21-26, not great I know) beat the hapless Evansvlle Otters (15-32) by a score of 9-2. I had hoped to spend a little more on Dad and get two box seats, but all they had left was reserved. That's where my husband Rick and I usually sit. We have the flex-pack, which we use for the rest of the season. While Consol Energy Park isn't the greatest ballpark--indeed it's a little on the spartan side--it does serve its purpose well. For way less than what you'd spend on a Pirate's game, you can sit close and have a great view of the field. read more

Watched The Wild Things play on 7/23/15. The park is great. For 12 bucks we were right up front! Food is good quality and fairly priced. I don't drink but the beers were only about 5 bucks. Makes for a great night out! read more

This ballpark is the BEST... friendly and VERY family-oriented.. The ballgames are fun and the prices cannot be beat on anything from tickets, food and drinks to parking.. We LOVE this venue and make it a point to go at least 2 or 3 times a season.. Would recommend to ANYONE!!! No traffic, no worries, safe and very easy to get to! read more

My family purchased our tickets on-line. My husband had some difficulty with their web site. The transaction is timed, and the time kept running out, but their site was running slowly. Then it wouldn't let him purchase the tickets as a guest. It made him sign into his account, and he couldn't remember his password, because we last purchased like a year ago. Then when he did put his usual password in, it said that the password was already used. He eventually did get our tickets to print, but it was very problematic. My husband uses a computer heavily through his work, so inexperience on his part was not the issue. I have seen him do remarkable things on a computer. We went to the park and had a blast. The park is very clean and there isn't a bad seat it the house. It is extremely kid friendly, they offer cookie and milk for a dollar around the sixth inning. The mascot is very sensitive to the needs of the audience also cute and very funny. The action on the field is great! The Frontier league players, play their hearts out. I find it just as exciting as a MLB game. read more
