Another stadium check off my list. This is an older stadium, but so loved all the history posted everywhere in the stadium! Great location in the city. Easy entrance process. Prices on par with all the other stadiums, 75 bucks for three drinks! One thing to note they only take CASH tips!!

This stadium is BEAUTIFUL!! Well maintained... right off the river. Beautiful view of the city! A must visit even if you aren't a football fan!

Heinz is a great stadium! The seats were comfy and the views were amazing. A 20 oz white claw was $15 and a imported 16 oz beer was $10. The food was super mid but all of the workers were very nice.

Acrisure is a large and well maintained stadium. This venue hosts football games, concerts, different events throughout the year. It's located in the North Shore and has parking nearby and a T stop nearby. I was recently here for a Steelers game. Staff were all very nice and the restrooms were clean.

Amazing experience being in a historic venue. It was below freezing so I couldn't fully enjoy the stadium. Great place, good vibes, excellent Texans win!

This is a 68,400 seating, huge, multi-level, beautiful stadium with spacious, comfortable seats. The atmosphere in, and outside the stadium is awesome, but there's nothing quite like the Pittsburgh Steelers staff, fans, and of course football team. The energy that runs through this stadium is of the highest caliber. I have never visited a place where every aspect of the place is full of awesomeness. The only way to experience this, and all its glory is at a home game. This should be on everyone's bucket list, regardless if your a Steelers fan or not.

I highly recommend the Blitz tour. It was about 45 minutes and about 20 of us were led by a knowledgeable guide. We got to enter the Steelers locker room and be out on the field sideline just before the real KY bluegrass field. We had plenty time to take photos (photos are ok, just not videos). Only restrictions were to not step on logos in the locker room or venture onto the grass of the stadium field. We got a lanyard with Steelers printed on it and a discount in the Pro Shop. All this for 10 bucks. Definitely worth it!

Another great night at acrisure stadium for a Steelers game. Security lines were quick, drinks were cold and it the Steeler came in hot against the browns! Can't wait for the next game!

Great tour without spending a ton! Get the history and behind the scenes information! Some of it takes you outside. Dress for the weather.

Granted, my team won so it made the experience that much more enjoyable, BUT, the atmosphere was incredible. By far the best sporting event I have ever been too. Pittsburghers, are awesome people. First time visiting and definitely not my last. Weather was great up until game time then it was an hr delay and chaos of everyone trying to take cover. Yeah there was light hearted trash talk but if you can take it and dish it, it was all love at the end.

Reviewing Acrisure Stadium as a Dallas Cowboys fan in Pittsburgh feels a bit like being the guy at a Halloween party who refuses to dress up--you stand out, but not in a way anyone appreciates. Living in the Steel City and rooting for "America's Team" is a perpetual exercise in dodging friendly fire from Steelers fans, who wield their Terrible Towels like they're actual weapons. Despite this, there's a weird camaraderie between the two fanbases. After all, both cities share a legacy of hardworking, blue-collar grit and wildly inflated football egos. The tickets? A blessing. I bought them from a local season-ticket saint who offered them just a smidge above face value, allowing me to bring my 10-year-old son and my brother, who flew in from Arizona for my 40th birthday. What we couldn't foresee--because Pittsburgh loves a good curveball--was the weather. Four months of anticipation culminated in a massive thunderstorm that turned Acrisure Stadium into a soaked gladiator pit. This is classic Pittsburgh football: you're not just battling the opposing team; you're fighting nature itself. The game itself? Surprisingly cathartic. The Dallas Cowboys' season has been a slow-motion car crash, but for once, we emerged victorious. My son, who had yet to witness a live Cowboys win, finally got to experience the sweet taste of victory--albeit drenched and clutching a poncho that was about as useful as a napkin in a monsoon. Acrisure Stadium is the quintessential outdoor football experience, a place where the elements add an extra layer of drama. It's old-school football at its finest, the polar opposite of AT&T Stadium, which feels more like a spaceship preparing for liftoff than a football field. Pittsburgh's venue strips football down to its primal essence: steel, sweat, and just enough rain to ensure you'll need to wring out your socks for a week. Despite my Dallas allegiance, I have to hand it to Pittsburgh. The stadium may not have a dome or a massive jumbotron that you can see from space, but it has character--and a whole lot of it. The experience? Unforgettable. Even if I had to cheer for my Cowboys under the watchful, judgmental gaze of Steely McBeam.

I am a die hard Ravens fan and I try my best to travel to support them as much as possible. The Acrisure Stadium formally known as Heinz field is a very nice stadium. It's clean and it a great location that overlooks the water. This stadium is one of the older stadiums in the NFL but very well kept!

This was truly exciting attending my first ever Pittsburgh Steelers game. Yes here at Acrisure Stadium or what will forever be known as Heinz Field and the "Big Ketchup Bottle", lol, a few months ago I went to see the Baltimore Ravens play the Steelers in one of the NFL's fiercest, most bitter rivalries. For a 1pm game, they allowed entrance 2 hours prior to kickoff which gave me ample time and opportunities to walk around and explore. I was able to get pictures in while the rest of the fans were still tailgating. Just outside Acrisure, there were tables set up for selling Steelers merchandise. Of course I had to buy an iconic Terrible Towel for $10. They also displayed a monument dedicated to the Immaculate Reception, one of the most memorable moments in NFL history. It's worthy of a photo. Also cool was standing beside the open end front entrance where there was a ferry coming and going floating along the Allegheny River dropping fans off at the stadium. What a fun way to travel to a game. And it's here at the front open end of Acrisure Stadium that's worthwhile for family pics. I went to the game with a friend of mine who's from Baltimore. He paid for our tickets so I'm not sure how much they actually cost. But we did sit in the lower part of the upper deck section on the closed end of the field. Views were good and I was surprised by how big Acrisure Stadium appeared. Yet it says capacity only held 68,000 fans. I would have expected more. Parking was $40 located in a lot about 1/3rd mile walk from the game. Though, I believe I saw lower prices for parking on TickPick and that's without fees. So maybe you could check online instead of randomly showing up the day of. Funny, my buddy proudly wore his Ravens jersey and Steelers fans were pretty friendly and welcoming towards him. This is something I would be scared to do as a visitor against loyal and passionate Pittsburgh fans. But, they didn't heckle him. I'm certain it would have been different had we attended a game in Philadelphia, lol, some of the roughest fans over there in Philly, lol. I believe the best aspect about Acrisure Stadium had to be those vibrant yellow seats. They are so emblematic to the Steelers organization. Walking the upper tiered level from high above, there's panoramic views looking down on the field. Off to the open end side of the stadium, you capture a wonderful vantage point of the downtown Pittsburgh skyline, one of the most dramatic in all the United States, imo. I asked ushers if they would take a photo of myself and the field which they happily said "yes" to. Looking around and realizing I was standing at a Steelers game was exhilarating in the moment. In total, it took no more than 1 hour to venture around Acrisure Stadium and get the photos I wanted. Btw, in one corner of the open end section of the stadium was a large ketchup bottle statue which fans waited in line to take a picture of. I didn't purchase anything from the concession stands. Some details about the actual football game... I expected a rocking atmosphere. I figured the crowd would be a factor. I wanted Steeler Country to show their support the way I envisioned watching games on television. But I must say, and although the stadium was mostly full and the action came down to the final 4th quarter moments, fans were relatively laid-back. The energy wasn't nearly as loud and effective as I had anticipated. I felt disappointed by this. And just saying...I went to school in Baltimore and have made it to a bunch of Ravens games at M&T Bank Stadium. It always lives up to its reputation as being one of the loudest NFL settings. So for me, this relaxed Sunday atmosphere in Pittsburgh was a little anticlimactic. Another aspect that fell short were no firework celebrations. Nothing during the national anthem, introductions, touchdowns or field goals. I was surprised because Acrisure Stadium sits against the Allegheny River and would be ideal to set fireworks blasting off from the open end section. It'd offer an improved atmosphere intensifying the crowd noise. Overall, when reflecting back on Acrisure Stadium... - It's located next to the scenic Allegheny River. - There are walking pedestrian pathways beside the shoreline. - You have bright yellow bridges connecting downtown. - PNC Park of the Pirates is around the corner. In the end, it's evident this downtown area of Pittsburgh can be a sports fans' dream come true, lol. Regardless of how passionate I felt the crowd was for my first Steelers game, thank you Pittsburgh for having me. Hope to return sometime in the future.

The line to get in was definitely long, but once we made it through security, it was such a nice surprise that everyone received a bobblehead. That was a huge improvement compared to the Pittsburgh Pirates Mac Miller bobblehead night, where I didn't receive one even with club tickets. The seats in Section 332 were great--easy to access and offered a really good view of the game. Even with the rain delay, the park handled things pretty well overall. The only downside was the ground level area, which got very crowded and a bit difficult to move through, but that's to be expected with weather delays and big crowds. I usually make it to a game about once a week during the summer, and experiences like this are exactly why I keep coming back. Always a fun time at the ballpark!

PNC Park opened in 2001 and is the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. I have attended a couple of Pirates games here (I should attend more!), and I have enjoyed the beautiful views of the Allegheny River and city skyscrapers and not quite as much the losing performance of the Pirates... Most recently my husband's company held a holiday party in the Pittsburgh Baseball Club (PBC/C) Level, an indoor climate-controlled concourse. We had access to three private bars--Wigle Whiskey, Wigle Reserve, and City of Champions Bourbon--as well as concession stands--Il Forno Pizza, Bierbauer's Grill, Tenders Love Chicken, Bridges Burger Company, and a pasta station. The level also included lounge areas, pool tables, etcetera. We enjoyed eating the Rudolph's Spritzer (limoncello, vodka, cranberry juice, and Sprite), cheese and pepperoni pizza, nachos (which came in a cute mini Pirates hat!), chicken and vegan tenders with fries (the vegan tenders actually tasted decent), and sugar and toffee cookies. However, the made-to-order tortellini with vodka sauce and bacon was extremely oily, so we ate little of it. The employees spoke nicely with us, and I got to pose with The Pirate Parrot and the Pirate Pierogi Jalapeño Hannah. This company party also included a brief tour of the stadium. We saw the hallways, field, dugout, and clubhouse (locker room, coaches' offices, training area, etc. but with NO photos or videos allowed).

Hootie & the Blowfish and Gin Blossoms were already on this circuit only a few years after their biggest hits. I think I saw an ad once for Foghat appearing at a local car dealership. The Beach Boys? We won't even discuss them. Whereas other veteran artists continue to pay attention to their craft and continue to write and record solid music even if it doesn't sell as well as it used to. They still sell the larger venues and still put an effort into their shows. I'm talking acts like John Mellencamp, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Robert Plant, Carlos Santana, John HIatt, Bonnie Raitt, and a few others. They also seem adept at attracting younger fans. Neil Young clearly falls into the latter category. And that's who my brother Paul, my dad & I saw this past week at the Pete. Neil Young is clearly an intergenerational artist. The dad loved his music the first time around and the bro and I got into him back in the 1990s when he started appearing with Pearl Jam, Nirvana, & others. Neil Young is also multifaceted. You're either going to get Acoustic Neil (a la the movie "Neil Young: Heart of Gold") or you're going to get the hard rock, distortion, fuzz tone Neil, especially when he plays with Crazy Horse. And that's what we got! Curiously, the set began with Neil's roadies setting things up, dressed either as construction workers or lab technicians/scientists. One of 'em, apparently the leader (wearing an Albert Einstein wig), was giving directions as faux amps were lifted out of their faux crates. Then they applauded themselves as a huge novelty vintage mic was set up center stage. It was really bizarre, especially when you consider that Neil Young is not known for his sense of whimsy. They also played a prerecorded version of the "Star Spangled Banner", but since Neil's Canadian, shouldn't they have first played "O Canada" like at the ballgame? The band then went into thundering versions of some of their best known material like "Love and Only Love" and "Powderfinger". He then went into a new song (don't roll your eyes), "Walk Like a Giant" which addresses some of his generations successes and failures. "Walk Like a Giant" ranks up there with the best he's ever done. And those of us who like Acoustic Neil were treated to a haunting version of "The Needle and the Damage Done" and "Twisted Road", an homage to Bob Dylan and Roy Orbison. Oddly enough, Neil Young & Crazy Horse did not perform any material of their 2012 album, "Americana". But we did get "Cinnamon Girl", "Hey Hey, My My", and "Like a Hurricane", which was the encore. The song "Hey Hey, My My" tells us "It's better to burn out/than it is to rust". Ironically, sitting there I could not believe I was watching a 67 year old man on stage.

My first clue was that I discovered this museum was not specific to Pittsburgh. In fact, it's part of a privately owned museum chain, one of over sixty identical museums across over 25 countries. I came here because I had a free morning trying to avoid the wintry weather. I decided to make stops on the North Shore along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. Clearly, not every stop is a landmark. This museum appears to be targeted to either young families with hyperactive kids and Instagram-addicted tourists. Falling somewhat into the latter category, I found the admission rather steep at $25 for what looked to be a relatively small scale space. I paid that same amount for both Carnegie Museums (Art and Natural History). This museum consisted of a series of interactive exhibits that create optical illusions. There were several spinning wheels, tilted spaces, distorted rooms, and mirrored illusions. My walkthrough lasted around fifteen minutes. Kids were anxious to go through the exhibits at breakneck speed, and my attention span was rarely stimulated by the exhibits. In visiting this museum, at least I won't be curious about the sixty other Museums of Illusions. RELATED - Exploring Pittsburgh?
