    Pick-your-own berries.
    Renee L.

Local farmers will always get top ratings from me. I can't thank them enough for their dedication and all of the hard work that goes into maintaining their farms. Today's visit was another reminder of how appreciative I am for having the convenience, and access, to a nice variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, preserves, pickles, and much more. This farm offers its visitors so much more than just fresh goods. One can pick their own berries, visit animals on the farm, or spend time in the play and picnic area. Great outing for families. No outside food or drinks are permitted as they offer food on-site. Staff was helpful and friendly.

So delicious! Get them fresh or get them to go!

It was cold, it was rainy, nonetheless, we had a blast! In mid-October, we came here for some fall festivities and found more than what we bargained for! There was ample parking. The entrance/ticket booth were easy to navigate and quick. For $10, we received admission for the day to the corn mazes and hay rides. Overwhelmed by all the activities and things to do, we did one of the two corn mazes. There were some slick, muddy spots, but we had so much fun! Then, we took a hay ride over to the pumpkin patch. My favorite thing was probably the giant hay bale characters like Peppa the Pig and the minions! Taking the hay ride back, we checked out the sunflower garden which was slightly underwhelming, but there were some gems in there if you were committed to looking. Next, we made our way to the goats. For a quarter, you could get some food to feed them. They were so cute! After all this, we worked up an appetite. Good thing, we didn't have to go far! Donuts, caramel apples, apple fries, you name it, they most likely had it. If you go inside the food building, you can find hot foods like pulled pork sandwiches. There's also indoor dining tables. To end our adventurous day, we perused the market. I found some funnel cake mix and pecan caramel bread! After taking some pics in the oversized pumpkin field (because did you really go to the pumpkin patch if you didn't take photos?), we walked back to the car, goodies in hand, smiles on our faces! I highly recommend Triple B Farms in the fall for all ages. There's something to do for everyone. Wine? Check. Pumpkin picking? Check. Photo opportunities? Check. Live animals? Check. Shopping? Check. Memories waiting to be had? Check. Check. Check.

We like coming here end of October. Been here at least 3 times and it's always a pleasure. There's plenty of activities during Halloween for the kids and big kids as well Love the freshly baked pies and of course the fresh produce. There's a small pet farm, corn maze, pick your own apples, and many more things to do. We like to stop at the supermarket before we leave to get a pie to go along with other goodies. It's better to get the tickets online. Always check the website for calendar events.

Really great place to bring your family and friends to harvest apples, flowers, and pumpkins when they are in season like in October. Take lots of memorable pictures too! Bonding time. In the summer of this year we went strawberry picking. It gets a little pricey when tallying up your total spending LOL so be prepared to spend $100+. We paid $15 each (3x = $45) tickets (2 years below are free). You will need to pay for a bag, or a box that they offer depending on what you're harvesting. The bucket, with shear scissors-- if you show your ID, was $26 for fall flower picking. Pretty sunflowers!! There is a playground area for kids, bouncy house, indoor market/souvenirs store, goat farm, peacock, hay rides, porta potties, get lost in a corn maze and big grass lot for free parking with conductors guiding you. Advise to bring jacket or coat... it gets a little chilly and windy this time of year. It's such a HUGE open field.

Love, love, love Triple B Farms! As someone who loves fresh fruits and vegetables, this is my go-to farm. It's a bit of a drive from Pittsburgh but worth every minute because the quality of the crops are unmatched! I've picked strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, and apples here and never been disappointed. The strawberry picking this year was easy; lots of berries and they were quite large. Not quite as sweet as some years when we get more sun . Also while $5 a quart may seem expensive compared to the grocery store, it's actually cheaper than most of the competition. Once you eat fresh picked strawberries you'll find it hard to go back to the underripe ones from California or Mexico.

Triple B is a very well-run and affordable farm destination for a family or couples' outing. Admission is only $9 for adults and $14 for kids. Of course there are lots of extra things you can buy at the farm, from fresh seasonal produce to snacks for lunch (e.g., apple fries, donuts). You can easily spend a few hours here enjoying a nice day, which compares well to an amusement park in terms of value. I went with my fiancé and we had a nice afternoon. The corn maze is difficult! We never actually found the exit after 30 minutes of wandering. We took a hay ride to the pumpkin patch; this was very crowded but the line moved fast. The highlight for me was the figurines/statues that were set up in the field. They took all sorts of well-known stories (from Star Wars to Humpty Dumpty to Lion King to Repunzel) and erected displays, often using pumpkins as heads. Very cute! Kids will also enjoy the haunted house ("boo barn"), face painting, a couple slides, and a bouncy gym. They offer free parking in a field on-site. Pretty drive down from Pittsburgh to the Mon Valley.

I used to go to Triple B's as a kid to pick pumpkins and strawberries so I love taking my little one. This year we went strawberry picking the second week PYO was open. There were lots of ripe strawberries to pick. They weren't that sweet but we still ate all the strawberries we picked in a few days! The forecast called for rain so we didn't pay to do the activities however they have a free little playground/ barn area that kept our little one entertained. The market sells lots of yummy treats. My favorite is the strawberry slushy! The only way it could get better would be if they threw some strawberry wine in there! We'll definitely be back in the fall for apples and probably pumpkins too!

This farm was so much fun! I discovered them from a Facebook ad I saw for blueberry picking at their farms. It sounded like a fun activity for a sunny summer day, so my husband and I drove over and checked it out. At the time, they offered blueberry and strawberry picking for $12/box. I estimated the $12 box could hold about 2-3 pints of blueberries. A tractor pulled wagon takes the guests to either the strawberry or blueberry fields. They had roughly an acre's worth of land full of blueberry bushes encapsulated with fabric to keep the birds away. After blueberry picking the tractor brought us back down to the farm. The general store is full of farm fresh goods from pickled peppers, jams, BBQ sauce, baked goods, and kids toys. We left with two armfuls full of goodies! They also have this really fun goat pen that has bridges within the pen for the goats to play in. There's feed dispensers to feed the goats. They also had peacocks in a pen behind the barn that had eggs, so that was unique to see. Triple B offers a wide array of kids activities for an affordable price, but we didn't participate in any of those activities. We already plan on coming back to Triple B farms in the fall for apple picking, pumpkins, and all sorts of fun fall activities! This is a great place to visit for couples and families alike!

I came here with my family last weekend and everyone had the best time! We were able to pick black raspberries, strawberries and blueberries! My sister even found some gooseberries! There were many tractor slides as entertainment for kiddies, a honeycomb bee exhibit, small farm area with pygmy goats and peacocks, a food barn that served hot dishes and a market. The best part about everything was that they accepted credit cards. Paying had never been easier at a farm! The berry picking process was streamlined and fun! You pay for each wristband ($3) per person and that counts as a credit to what you pick. The wristband includes a ride in the tractor up to where the berries are. There were only port-a-potties available BUT there was a real water station with soap and paper towels. We even had some fruit wine tastings and bought the strawberry and blueberry wines. Yum! The website listed ducklings and potbellied pigs to pet but alas, there weren't any when we went. My only beef was that this farm is way too far to come to again. It took an hour by these single lane, rickety country roads.

We love coming to Triple B for fruit picking! We come for strawberries in June and apples in September. Make sure to come when they open because it gets crowded and you get a better selection of fruit. We get their Cortlands and Macs for baking and honey crisp for eating. Check out their store for some yummy pies as well!

In 2020, they opened their sunflower fields to the public so visitors could pick and photograph sunflowers. In 2024, I planned to attend their sunflower festival, but they had to cancel it because deer ate about 100,000 of their 500,000 flowers. As of now, the family plans to reopen their farm to the public in July 2025. In the meantime, I visited their website to browse their online store. The store offers a few dozen products, including sunflower oils, sunflower moisturizers, sunflower soap, candles, alpaca socks, and angora-wool socks. I bought one pair of their alpaca socks for $25 plus about $3 shipping. A few days later, the farm shipped my socks via the USPS. One day later, the postal employee delivered the package to me. The farm's website says that I am supposed to wash the socks in cold water and air-dry them. Unfortunately, I accidentally put these socks in with my other laundry in the washer and dryer. I felt thankful that the socks did not shrink, and they still fit my feet. My feet get cold at night, and these socks kept my feet warm.

Always a treat. Today, Saturday July 22, 2023, was opening day for this year's festival. It runs…read morethru July 30 and is open from 8 am to 8pm. Parking is $3 in the field across the street. There are vendors for tshirts, sunflower oil, food and whatnots. You can pick your own sun flowers for a very small fee and there are photographers. You may roam around the fields and take your own photos which is why i come. Plus, it simply is a great mood lifter, especially when the fields reach their peak bloom. Go, have fun, and smile!
