Was looking to buy an RV from Sundance RV and when I told them I wanted to get a full vehicle…read moreinspection they recommended Hudson Car Care. They drove the RV over. Hudson did a full $150 inspection. They told me they found nothing wrong with the RV and would drive across country in it. Great RV. Well, with that bill of health I purchased the RV at asking price. Fast forward. I have the rig and take it to my very trusted reliable auto shop to take a look at why my tires are different sizes. They did a full inspection of the rig and massive issues. Bent and broken axle, broken suspension bags, the list goes on. Items I asked Hudson to specifically check that they said were good. Nope. Obviously they're in league with Sundance. Crooks. I wish I could foot them with the bill. Disappointed. Disgusted.

I'm an easy target. A woman who knows nothing about cars. New to the area. Luckily, someone…read morereferred me to Hudson Car Care. I called and left a message about my 2012 Toyota Corolla LE. When I turned my key it wouldn't "bounce back". So, it was making the starting sound, but it wasn't ever catching and starting. (See? No idea what I'm talking about!) Keith Hine called me back. He was patient with me on the phone, asking a lot of probing questions. Beginning with the battery, which was in working order. Keith theorized that it might be the starter switch. But, they wouldn't know until I brought my car in. I brought my car in expecting to pay hundreds of dollars for parts and labor. But, before they began anything diagnostic on my starter, Keith had my battery checked. ... I though this was weird, because it was working "just fine". Or, so I thought. Hudson Car Care found that the side of my battery was bulging! They charged me a fair price for a new, quality battery, installed it for free, and sent me on my way. (Noting, of course, that if I had any other problems with starting the car to come back.) It's been several months and my car still starts like a charm! Thank you, Hudson Car Care for your honesty, integrity, and friendly, knowledgable, and helpful service. You saved me hundreds of dollars, earning my trust and future business.

Oh, don't forget the tire pressure. I had initially agreed to have them do a tune up and replace a steering bushing and the valve cover gaskets. After reading reviews I called and told them to only do the plug repair and oil change. When I picked up my vehicle, they charged me $84.69 (25% restocking fee.) For returning parts they supposedly ordered. (Steering coupler, cap and rotor, two valve gaskets, air filter, and spark plugs) There is no way these parts added up to $338.76. The parts, all OEM. come to $96. I took my paperwork from Autohaus to Pete Lea to check out. He is arguably the premier auto mechanic in Olympia, WA. Pete confirmed my suspicions. He said I should get the Heli sinc metric thread kit from Autohaus they charged me for it, and should not have been charged a restocking fee for basic items a shop usual keeps on hand. I requested they give me the hele sinc metric thread kit and they refused. My other mechanic also said the same thing about the part. Nate offered to give me the $84 back. I told him if he gave me a $1000 back i would only leave a couple reviews. Nate refused. what sort of loser would I be to take money from someone and then not leave an honest review.
