My vehicle has 49K miles on it. Unfortunately, the overpriced $139.00 Oil change ended up costing me an additional $1197.00 as D&L cracked my oil filter housing assembly unit by over torquing it. The owner refused to take responsibility, and he got pretty verbal & aggressive with me to the point where I thought we would come to blows. I had my repairs done at another auto repair business. No estimate for repairs was provided because as D&L stated, they don't know what's wrong. The bill justification was that they need to be compensated for their time. They may want compensation for their time. But I want compensation for my money. Paying a $120 to a "mechanic" to have them repeat my words back to me a week later, is garbage.

I called first to ask what it costs to install a radio, around $200 bucks cause I had hardware. Drop off car, it could be a little more, okay fine. Pick it up, $498, I was like for what extra, I got the whole dog and pony show, fine I paid. My car initially had the stock stereo with aftermarket speakers, in sounded good, I just wanted an upgraded deck. I bought the stereo from a reputable dealer, used my vin and got all the parts. I get in my car drive away and I kid you not, I've heard factory 80's vehicles stereos sound better. It is a $400 deck, it's sounds like dog shit. I immediately come back and tell him it sounds off and even the subwoofers were not working, he agreed and told me to bring it back cause it's the end of the day. Mind you, I live 35 minutes away. I come back, leave car he calls back and says it's the wrong part, I asked 3 times what part, I got 3 different things. Eventually he lands on the harness, I supplied wrong harness, shouldn't you know that upon install and QC after you finish your job? Shouldn't that have been caught before they installed, and why would you initially deliver the car undone? He told me he'd get the part and make it right, that was aug, it's now the 29th. Oh, along with my subwoofers not working, the satellite radio not working either and crooked deck install. Again, 3 and a half weeks later, today, I pick up my car and he wants to charge me over $100 more, for a job they didn't complete and do right the first time, still blaming me for the wrong part, seriously i thought they were the professionals. By the way, I called customer service on the radio and showed them my parts via pics and invoice#, they said those are the right parts. The company I ordered the stero from was apologetic of the inconvenience, not of their own but what I was going through and gave me a free xm tuner for my deck, that's how you do business, not the way Advanced Automotive services is doing right now. So here is me waiting for the cops they called, to explain why I refuse to pay anymore money for this terrible business, fraudulent service. DO NOT GO HERE! I am shell-shocked right now at how absolutely terrible the repairs on my vehicle turned out. After tolerating the rattles, shakes, and tremors for months, I am fresh off of finally breaking down and letting the dealership fix it. Now I have a much lighter wallet. The last vehicle Stacys worked on for me, they replaced all four struts in my vehicle. The parts apparently were improperly installed and caused significant additional damage. The quote given initially only covered half of the job I described. I returned to have the rest of the job done fully accepting I must have misunderstood the initial quote. After the second set, my vehicle was never the same. I gutted it out for a while and I even replaced wheels and tires assuming that the new parts couldn't possibly be the problem. Because of the overall experience, there was little chance I was going to trust putting the vehicle back in their hands so I had to have the dealership replace the struts again along with the additional damage to the suspension parts. In the end, it was over $7000 for a job that should have been around $2500. I really used to respect and trust Stacys, but they just don't seem interested in providing a great service and experience for their customers. Of course, this is my opinion and there is always a possibility that my experience was not the norm, but I also communicate with other family members and friends that have had similar, albeit less catastrophic experiences and also have stated to me that they will not return to this shop.

I don't want to have to ask, beg, harass to get results. I don't doubt Kim Stacy's ability to do a great repair job, but their customer service is RIDICULOUS. He cut me some slack on the labor price since I was a repeat customer and he let me go into the shop so that he could show me what needed to be replaced and answered all of my questions without any hint of condescension which I have experienced in other shops. Dave treated me as more than just a customer and explained as he wrote up the estimate what he was going to do and where he could also shave off some time from the overall labor cost to me. I thought that this was outstanding that he would do this without me having to haggle about the price. When I got the bill, it was actually lower than he had estimated. Needless to say, I was quite happy with that. After picking up my vehicle and having driven it for about a month now, I am quite impressed. It drives and it feels almost like new although it has over 240000 miles on it. I'm very happy with the overall experience and would recommend this shop to everyone. I had a frustrating experience with Ernie's RV & Trailer Repair…read more I brought in my Class C RV because I wanted a proper inspection, specifically to have the brake pads checked. Another shop had already told me they couldn't lift the RV, which is exactly why I sought out a place that could handle a full inspection. When I scheduled the appointment, I clearly explained this situation and my expectations. The day after I dropped off the rig, I received a call saying the RV was ready and that nothing was wrong. I was charged about $280. When I arrived to pick it up, I asked for an inspection report or details on what was checked, and it became clear there was confusion. After asking directly what work had been done, I was told they had only performed an oil change. This was extremely frustrating because that was not what I brought the RV in for. I had been very clear that I needed a full inspection due to the previous shop not being able to lift it. They did offer for me to bring the RV back at another time, but when I asked about the cost for the inspection, I was quoted over $450 on top of the $280 I had already paid. This pricing was never discussed when I scheduled the appointment. Overall, my concerns are: -Lack of communication about pricing upfront. They need more transparency on their pricing and other reviews suggest the same -Not paying proper attention to the customer's request -Failing to perform the service that was requested There was no effort to offer a discount or solution to make up for the inconvenience. I wanted to give them a chance despite some pricing concerns posted on prior Yelp reviews, but unfortunately, my experience confirmed those issues. To be fair, the staff were friendly and professional. They are nice folks but, they need to work on some issues. In the future, I will be driving a few extra miles to get better and more competitive service.
