I did a ton for research before visiting Olympic Trailer & Truck and narrowed my choices to a Lamar…read more5x10 mini-dump. Gary happily showed me the actual trailer, answered a few questions I had then we went back inside to complete the sale. The Title and registration process was made quick and easy by a very competent and pleasant woman but I unfortunately didn't catch her name. I arranged to pick up my new trailer the next day and when I arrived I decided to add a spare tire plus I needed to upgrade my towing equipment to exceed the trailer's 10K rating. They had everything in stock and when they brought my trailer to the front of the lot a few minutes later, they'd already mounted the spare tire. Two very efficient young guys prepped the trailer by torquing all the wheel lug nuts, attaching the trailer including the ball and coupler, safety chains, and breakaway switch to my truck, then testing the trailer lighting. No lights. Unfazed, they retrieved a testing kit from the shop and began troubleshooting and quickly determined the problem was in my truck's electrical system. We checked the basics, switches, connections and fuses - still no joy. Then Kyle came out to assist. Of course it was raining and the parking lot was wet and muddy but that didn't stop Kyle from digging deeper by laying under my truck to check 7 pin socket wiring. Kyle quickly determined that my truck's socket was the issue and, like a true professional, he quickly removed mine and replace it with a new one, with no hesitation or drama. This might seem routine to many but I've spent a great deal of time working in the trades and young men like Kyle are an unbelievably rare commodity. While everyone at Olympic Trailer & Truck was great, Kyle was responsible for completing my transaction with absolute satisfaction.

I purchased a brand new trailer with a GVWR of 7k with an empty weight of 2k. Within the first week I had a blown tire that caused extensive damage to my trailer. I understand how flat tires can cause damage and I only wanted the dealership to stand behind the product they sell and give me a new tire. I called immediately when the tire blew and the tone of the dealer changed from when I purchased the trailer. When I bought the trailer, they were very helpful, friendly and I really wanted to support this small family owned business. They were not friendly or nice once the sale was made. Once they discovered that the product they sold had a problem they got defensive and it was very clear from the manager on the phone that he had no intent of standing behind his product. I stopped by a few days later to show the tire to the dealer and get a replacement. It was very clear that they were annoyed that I was there. A customer was buying a trailer and she was treated very nicely probably because they wanted the sale and wanted the money. After an extensive wait and clear indications that this dealer only wants to sell trailers, not take care of customers I left and will take further action. I buy from a dealer so the dealer will stand behind the product. If I buy new tires from discount tires, I go to discount tire and they warranty the product. I don't have to call Goodyear direct. Very sad because I hate supporting the big stores Iike Walmart, trailers plus etc but you get a company that actually takes care of customers with the big chain stores. My father and I have purchased 9 trailers in the past 5 years (RV's, cattle trailers, flatbeds etc). I was going to buy from Trailers plus but I really wanted to support a small business. When I had issues with trailers bought from trailers plus I got instant results. It is not my job as the customer to contact the manufacturer. That is why I buy from a dealer. You can buy much cheaper dealer direct. I regret buying from Bulldog. I have referred 4 friends in the past week, 1 of them already purchased. The other 3 will no longer purchase from this business Stay away from this company. Buy from Olympia trailers or trailers plus. I have bought from both of them and much better customer service.

They are there to help you find the right fit for you and aren't simply trying to make a sale. I bought a trailer to haul my dirt bikes and quad, so that it is an effortless process to load and unload our equipment. Also I requested that the hitch and locking pin used to bring my trailer in with be returned to me. I made it very clear and spoke to Tabitha and another lady there strongly stating I would need that pin and hitch back. Instead , they installed a new sway bar hitch and used the pin that I specifically requested them not to use. It was a unique situation as I had a buyer for my trailer coming to pick it up from their lot after they installed the new hitch. They did not explain to him how to use it after he was specifically told that they would explain that to him. The man and his wife had traveled all the way from Arizona to pick up this trailer. When I asked about the pin and the hitch that I had on there when I brought it in, They gave me the hitch back without the pin. The man opened the gate and said it wasn't his job, he wasn't supposed to be helping us at all, He was just a part salesman. Then he directed us to take it to the service center , which was a parking lot over. He came over there and tried to pull the pin out of the trailer hitch. When that didn't work , I went to the service center and asked the men that we're working inside if they were the ones who installed the new sway bar hitch. They were very rude and seemed super arrogant and very defensive, although I asked if they could please Remove the pin and put the pin in that came with new one they installed. He seemed bothered I would even ask. He then went to the parking lot and said there was no way to get the pin out unless he took the hitch off. Said he would be right back. He never came back out. The man that came to purchase my trailer had to call the manager. Their solution was to give me a new locking pin. Their attitude was as if they were doing us a favor. The attitudes of the service workers were terrible and they never did explain to the man that purchased my trailer or myself, what exactly was done or how to properly work the hitch. In addition to that, they told the man who was purchasing my trailer and truck false information and even went as far as appraising my vehicle. Basically told him it wasn't worth his purchase. Also had various pricing. Told the man it would cost $500 for an inspection and then told me $800. They lied pretty much about everything. After all this happened I shared this story with some locals, turns out they are known for their arrogant I am better than you attitudes. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.
