Another shop had already told me they couldn't lift the RV, which is exactly why I sought out a place that could handle a full inspection. When I scheduled the appointment, I clearly explained this situation and my expectations. The day after I dropped off the rig, I received a call saying the RV was ready and that nothing was wrong. I was charged about $280. When I arrived to pick it up, I asked for an inspection report or details on what was checked, and it became clear there was confusion. After asking directly what work had been done, I was told they had only performed an oil change. This was extremely frustrating because that was not what I brought the RV in for. I had been very clear that I needed a full inspection due to the previous shop not being able to lift it. They did offer for me to bring the RV back at another time, but when I asked about the cost for the inspection, I was quoted over $450 on top of the $280 I had already paid. This pricing was never discussed when I scheduled the appointment. Overall, my concerns are: -Lack of communication about pricing upfront. They need more transparency on their pricing and other reviews suggest the same -Not paying proper attention to the customer's request -Failing to perform the service that was requested There was no effort to offer a discount or solution to make up for the inconvenience. I wanted to give them a chance despite some pricing concerns posted on prior Yelp reviews, but unfortunately, my experience confirmed those issues. To be fair, the staff were friendly and professional. They are nice folks but, they need to work on some issues. In the future, I will be driving a few extra miles to get better and more competitive service.

Only after I brought my trailer in, they said it would be $861. Way more than I expected for about 2.5 hours of labor and $120 in parts but I had already towed my trailer there so I said ok. They said the trailer brake is fine but they did not measure and would not tell me how much brake I had left. The trailer hitch adjustment cost $159 just to loosen and tighten two bolts with an impact wrench while the hitch was still attached to my vehicle. I watched and they never once used a torque wrench or a vice. My chassis was the vice. Uhaul or any shade tree mechanic would have done better service for a fraction of the cost. They quoted me $7700 to fix the caulk and trim. Hard pass after seeing their quality of work and what they charge for basic services.

I arranged for pickup and showed up to do so and he informed me they had been broken into in the secure lot and my batteries and propane tanks were taken. He did replace the batteries and tanks and said the tanks were full and ready to go. I should have double checked and when I did they were empty. A $500.00 deposit was paid for said services and nothing was returned. I had asked for a detailed list of there check out and never received one after repeated requests. I asked there Tech who checked it out and he said the unit was good and he would use with no worries. John's repeated lies, forgetfulness, misleading have lead me to NEVER NEVER do business with this company again. If they did not want to sell and contacted me right away I would be fine. However John's lies, misleading, lies, and lack of communication I would/could never recommend this company to anyone.

I did my research on the purchase and skimmed a couple of videos about the installation. The big day arrived and I pretty quickly realized I was going to need a professional. So I set up a detailed project in yelp, and had a contractor from about 40 miles away send an estimate in just a couple of minutes. Time and distance were going to cost an arm and a leg, so I let him know Id get back to him. A bit later I had another hit. It was Marc with Evolved Off Grid, and he was immediately available due to a shipping delay affecting the job he was on. AND his callout and hourly charges were *very* reasonable. I have never felt so lucky. He was on my doorstep in about an hour, and the install was on. It was obvious by the get-go that Marc is very knowledgeable with a ton of experience. He worked quickly and efficiently, and was able to actually converse without slowing down. When we ran into electrical issues, Marc took care to isolate the issue and find a solution. After determining the issue was a faulty connection on the unit, he was able to quickly resolve it. He kept his work area organized, had ample tools/supplies in his vehicle, and was careful to clean up afterwards making sure to leave behind any extra piping and connectors from his purchase at the store. When calculating the final bill, Marc capped the final fee at 3 hours. Due to no fault of his own, it went past this and he diligently found a solution, but didn't feel right charging the full amount, knowing it would create a hardship for us. He is a *good* man, and we are so grateful. So by now, you can see why we unequivocally recommend Marc and Evolved Off Grid for anything RV. His high level of expertise and integrity were a welcome relief to what surely would have been the install-from-hell had I attempted it on my own. Oh. And here is the icing on the cake: If there are any issues that arise with the unit's installation, he will happily come out and remedy the situation free of charge. Yes, you read that right. I spoke to a gentleman on the phone about prices and parts, he was fantastic, he told me they would…read moredo a FULL diagnostic on my vehicle and it would cost me $175. I agreed and I had my vehicle sent in the next morning, It took them a few days to get a look at it, and they called me back up to let me know what they found. They claimed the vehicle had an issue with its Cat, and they couldn't finish the diagnostic until it was repaired. We started talking about pricing. They wanted 2x the Cats price for the cat, and double the price for labor. (the cat from the dealership would've costed $300 and $600 if you needed both) They wanted $5000 to do the job. $1200 for the parts and the rest labor. I questioned what exactly they were going to do to my car that would require over 15hours to do if they're only replacing the Cat, The guy dead a** told me they had to remove my entire engine and drain all its fluids just to replace it. (if that sounded funny to you too you have a braincell.) I declined the work, Told them I'm not comfortable paying $5k for a $1,800 job and I cant justify the engine drainage or removal for a Dry System, and that I'd be having my car removed from there lot and sent somewhere else. The guy working the Desk then told me that it would cost me $380 before it can be removed. $380? a $175 quote price (for a Full diagnostic they hadn't even completed) now jacked up to $380? asked them to explain and they said it took them over an hour to diagnose it and that's the labor fee for going over. I told them I was Quoted $175. the paperwork says $175 this was the agreed price and if there was a problem with the quote or agreed price they should have contacted me first and got my approval. I do no recommend you take your car here. They've already shown Super shady business practices and I'm So glad I went to a different mechanic who spotted the problem and Repaired it at a much more Fair Market Value.
