Not only did the front desk staff make suggestions of not one - but 4 local (smaller) pharmacies - but they even provided the phone numbers and told me which ones would deliver my medication! They asked if I needed any assistance with having them call to check the medication's availability - and, after I'd told them that I could handle making a few calls - they followed up to make sure I was all taken care of. (I must say - I felt as if I were a family member of the staff, with the attentive way that they treated me.) We went back a few weeks later - just to have my son get his eye looked at after an allergic reaction - they saw him right away - got him some eye drops and had the note ready (for school) before we even checked out! In a world where impersonal medical visits have become the norm, the level of care provided by Physician's Assistants Shane and Patrycja is nothing short of extraordinary. Their dedication to each patient is palpable, as they take the time to listen attentively, thoroughly assess your concerns, and provide personalized attention. What's more, they have a remarkable ability to remember each patient, fostering a sense of continuity and trust that is rare to find. Reminds me of going to our family dr in the 60's & 70's.... Dr. Harry Abe in Wantagh. In fact.... I haven't found a dr that I liked as much... until I found DR Levitz. The office is located in the Chase Bank bldg on the north side of Merrick Rd. Suite 300. The office is definitely NOT fancy at all. Far from it. But.... She is amazing. Soo caring & very thorough . She'll call you after hrs & always seems to be available. She's not a prescription writer so if you're the type looking for pain pills...she's not the Dr for you. She's very "by the book" & always looking out for your entire well being... Physically, mentally etc. She also offers a vitamin IV treatment. I've done it a few times & I did feel healthier afterwards. I've turned a few friends onto Dr Levitz & they go several times a week for the IV treatments. All in all.... I waited 45 minutes, paid a $20 copay for an office visit, for a 5 minute phone call telehealth visit. To when the provider said "please do not wait until the last minute to request a refill, even if there is no appointment I will refill it for you." So this leaves me to today, Friday morning, no medication because it needs a prior authorization that your office has still not completed after being told 2x that they have. Nobody is on the same page. This is unacceptable because I did everything correctly on my part knowing how this process works and yet your staff made more work for everybody involved, AND left me with no medication.

Dr Belfiore is very nice, he explained things to me in a way that I could understand and even sketched on a notepad to give me a visual. What Doctor does that? None that I've ever gone to. He didn't rush our time together. He looked me straight in the eyes when he spoke to me. I have much respect for him even after reading these reviews. Nothing will change my mind about Dr Belfiore. I will continue to see him and recommend him. What sealed the deal for me was when he told me about the close professional relationship he has with another doctor that I really love and respect. They have the same work ethics and the same diagnosis and treatment approach.

Also, this location is in a good school district and feels well-maintained, safe, and well-resourced. The facility is bright, clean and modern. The staff members are welcoming and friendly. The care team here is patient, kind, reliable, caring and understanding. The patients are approximately 90% White, 2% Asian, 5% Hispanic, and 3% African American. Around 70% were born in the USA and had moved to the U.S. before age 12, 80% came from highly educated families, and 70% are financially well off. I am pleased with the quality of care here and feel comfortable coming here. Even though I am always the only Asian person here, I felt welcomed, safe, respected, and supported, especially as a person with a disability in that environment. As a person with a degree who values quality Healthcare, I highly recommend this Catholic Health facility. The doctor I especially recommend is Dr. Marie Roethel, who is a highly competent cardiologist.
