Owner stated he takes photos of every car, however he didn't take photos of my car. It's ironic because my car was damaged on their property and he just so happened not to take pictures. Owner had a secretary call a local auto body shop to get an estimate to fix damage and when estimate came back higher than expected, he refused to keep his word. He also was verbally aggressive when we spoke on the phone when I questioned him about contacting his insurance company. He hung up on me when I told him I would not allow someone to talk to me the way he was. After several weeks, he finally called his insurance company and told them ABE didn't do the damage. We have a video from the day the car went into the shop from our security cameras, however their insurance company wouldn't cover the damage because the owner told them he didn't do the damage. Owner stated they don't wear anything on their belts while installing the windows, however when he was standing there yelling at my husband, he had a pocket knife and tape measure hanging from his own pants. The deep scratches are exactly where someone leaned on the car to install the window. Save yourself the hassle and find someone who honors their word and respects their customers' cars. Oh and he also stated he NEVER had an insurance claim. Of course, because he tells you he will submit it and tells the insurance company he didn't do the damage.

I couldn't be happier with the whole transactions. I called several places around the Lehigh Valley…read moreareas looking for someone to install a windshield for a 1968 Chevy C10. Alot of the responses I've received back were short and cold something like this "We don't do that". Anyway, Dave from Hecktown glass called and asked a few questions. We set up an appointment for him to come out. He came out and assessed the situation. Looked over the truck and noticed a couple things wrong with it (a big gap in the corner, there's gaps between the liner and roof, etc). He patched up all the gaps and had to let it cured for a few days. Tentatively scheduled to come back in a few days Thurs or Friday (weather permitting). Mother Nature wasn't cooperating. I was anxious to get my glass done but I was more nervous about the company because of the bad reviews so I called the office (no answer but I did leave a voicemail). Dave called me back within a few hours (which I was pleasantly surprised-once again because of the bad reviews) and said let's plan on doing it Saturday. With it being a Holidays weekend, I really didn't want to be a nag. I was just happy with the communications. He texted Saturday morning and said he'll be on his way. Got set up, glass installed with me and my son giving him a hand (held the glass in place while he seats the glass)-which my son was thrilled to help since it's going to be his truck. I know this is a long review, but I just want people to know what a great experience I had with the installation of the windshield on my son's 1968 C10. And the price was incredible too!! I was really expecting to pay twice that. My advice is to be patience if someone doesn't pick up the phone right away. Leave a message and they'll get back to you. Everybody is short staff nowadays, but it keeps the cost down. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Highly Recommended!!! Thanks Dave
