Just giving a heads up in case anyone is looking for an honest, upfront and genuine auto shop to…read moreget their cars worked on. I scheduled an oil change at E-Motive Performance and Auto Repair after extensive searching and praying to God for a mechanic I could take my car to regularly. I had to change my original appointment with short notice due to the weather earlier this week and today I was like an hour late to my appointment because of poor time management on my part. When I walked into the shop, I was welcomed so kindly by Esten, who introduced himself and his partner to me. He listened to all the concerns I had about my car, then waited patiently for me to get myself together and figure out how I would wait for the work to be done. Rather than send me to the back of the line, they worked on my car right away they explained so much to me about cars when it was clear I didn't know much, Esten even called my dealership to check to see if I still had a warranty on any of my parts! He went above and beyond for me even without knowing me. He told me everything I needed once they checked my car out, gave me a list of prices including the labor charges, gave me a timeframe of when I should be replacing things and I was just literally blown away by their ability to relieve all of my concerns and give me an affordable game plan moving forward. As a woman, this type of professionalism is invaluable to me! It's just a small shop in the middle of nowhere and I got the best service I have ever had in comparison. My car is running like it's brand new and I feel confident to refer anyone else like me to these guys. This is a gem, I promise!

I've been dealing with Dale at European Precision in Emmaus since he brought to life a 1995 Volvo…read morestation wagon that 6 different repair shops told me that it was too far gone to fix and that they would give me a couple of bucks and use it for parts. This car was like a member of the family, but we were ready to junk it until someone suggested that Dale could resurrect it. He couldn't guarantee that he wouldn't be able to look at it for a couple of weeks but since it wasn't inspected and barley drivable anyway I dropped off the Volvo. I called him occasionally to check on his progress and he said that he tinkers with it from time to time and that he is sure that he can get it running. After several months he called me and told me I could pick it up! I can't remember what it cost but but it was worth every penny and we got another 10 years out of it. Fast forward and my son lives in the Rockaways in NYC and has a 20 year old Prius that was close to death because the very reliable shop he had been taking it to gave up trying to repair. He drove it to Allentown, took it to Dale and within a week it was fixed. I wish I could give Dale 6 stars. Bernie K, Allentown.

I would have preferred to order the tires through Greg's to support a local business, but with snow coming I was not able to accept the lead time - I needed a special size that I wouldn't expect them to carry, so for most people this probably wouldn't be an issue. In any case, the team was very understanding and didn't hold it against me. The tires were mounted (and old tires disposed) for about $145. They did a nice job of avoiding any damage to my expensive wheels, which I can't say has always been the case with other tire installers. I will definitely go back to Greg's the next time I need tires.
