Trying to look for a lifetime mechanic because I was in a bad motorcycle accident and haven't drove for like 5 years so I finally bought a car and I was torn either to sell it because I didn't know insurance was going to be that high on a Challenger with the hemi so I booked an appointment for an inspection and to get everything looked over the ECU plugged in if there's anything that looks at a place and they said no it looks great blah blah blah I get home and I get a text of a list of things that needed to be worked on and one of them was a fucking $55 cabin air filter which I literally just got seven or eight days prior to this inspection give or take a day so [[HIGHLIGHT]]I left a message like I tried to talk to them like a man would like man to man and to try to swindle me out of $55 like get the fuck out of here bro that is crazy[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and though you got to see the list of shit that they would have got out of me, 16 spark plugs and they had to be aluminum or some kind of bullshit and the job was $1,200 and I was just about to make an appointment but they closed so thank God I caught that shit read more

Terrible place for service that lies and tries to swindle you out of every dime they can. Went in for an annual inspection and emissions test. [[HIGHLIGHT]]David at the front desk tried to say the tech said I failed inspection because I had no muffler, which was a lie.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then didn't know I overheard him on the phone trying to order a whole new exhaust and gasket kit. Didn't know a muffler from a resonator, recharged me for inspection since the previous tech I saw wasn't in the next day. All that had to be fixed was a 9-inch section of pipe exiting the muffler (yes the one he said I didn't have) so it was fixed then I returned the next day since he said to fix that come back and I would just have to pay for the sticker, then, MAGICALLY, there's now an exhaust leak that wasn't present yesterday and yet again tried to get me to order a whole new exhaust. Absolutely terrible place with zero value. Won't ever waste my money here again. Pathetic service! This mistake could have taken my life and others! Poor supervision! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Very poor communication![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Recently, I had my tire rotation done at a firestone store. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I ve' noticed weird sound and imbalance while driving back home so I called the store and was told to bring the car back to store for inspection.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While, I was driving back to the store, It got really worse even I could not able to drive on I-79 S at the lowest speed. It felt that you are driving with a flat tire so eventually I have to pulled over because I was worried someone will hit me or crash as I was driving at 10 miles on a I-79 S with a speed limit of 55 miles. My car was not driveable at that moment. I noticed that the right back tire was misaligned and displaced outside and about to come off the car, I called the store again and told the whole story. I called my insurance and eventually towed my car to the store. I came to know that there was a huge mistake by an employee of firestone who did not screw the bolts tight and made the wheel to loose from the hub and damaged the wheel rim, brake rotor rear hub and shield. Next day, my car was towed to the company auto shop for the repair for these significant damages to my new car. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted the store owner who told me he can not do anything as my case has now with claim department.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I contacted the firestone customer service and claim department supervisor for now almost 10 days and asked for an rental car but no Luck![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was told someone from the claim dept. will get in touch with me for an rental car and claim in 1-2 days, then 2-4 days and then 3-5 days. I called them multiple times but no response![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was their mistake and that is the minimum they should do to compensate and do the repair. This mistake could have let to significant damage and chaos and taken many lives if that wheel would have come off from the car. My life was at stake! Do not waste your precious time here. This location is dishonest and overpriced compared to other firestones. I came for a yearly inspection. They did not pass the inspection stating I needed major work done on my suspension. They quoted me 150% or more compared to every surrounding auto shop, including firestone at the lehigh valley mall. I literally called the other location 10 minutes away and the price difference was night and day. After getting a second opinion from jack williams I only needed new tires. My suspension passed without a single doubt. I am ashamed for almost falling for their trap. Unbelievable how dishonest a reputable business is. read more

I went to Firestone on Mill Creek Rd in March 2022 for the annual inspection. The inspection showed that I needed a new rear brake caliper that "barely pushed back" with the other brake caliper also in poor condition. I took the car back and finished the recommended work - 2 calipers, rotors, and pads. I then inspected the old calipers. The brake caliper pistons had no issues retracting. I simply needed new pads as they were frozen to the caliper tracks. I got a 2nd opinion from a mechanic friend who told me that my calipers were fine and did not need replacing. I even brought in the caliper in question as proof to the shop that there were no issues, but they did not touch the piston to see how easily and smoothly it moved. I expressed my disappointment to the manager, Scott Matejicka, that Firestone would fail my inspection over parts that were still serviceable and force me to buy parts unnecessarily. They wasted my time and money by having me replace the calipers, rotors, and pads when only pads were needed, however, my concerns fell on deaf ears. If I could give this place no stars I would. I was so disappointed by what was done to my car here and honestly flabbergasted by the way they dealt with my vehicle. I took it there because they were open on Saturday (my wonderful trustworthy mechanic was not- (SUPER unfortunate). My car had classic signs of misfiring due to faulty spark plugs. I dropped it off and got a ride to work. They called saying that it was indeed the start plugs that needed to be changed, along with a laundry list of other things my car "needed". I elected to just get the immediate problem repaired and to take the other things up with my mechanic when they were open. A few hours later they called me to tell me my car was done, so on my break at work I got a ride over to pick it up. Checking out took forever (longer than my 30 minute break was suppose to be) and when I drove off the lot I noticed that I could barely turn my wheel and that my car was now making a entirely new horrendous noise that I had never heard before. I immediately turned around and when they took a look they said that suddenly my power steering fluid pump was leaking and that it must have just "happened". I'm sorry but it's a little convenient that something completely unrelated that I had never had an issue with before was now suddenly broken. I was furious. They said they would repair this at no charge- guilty. I left my car there to get THAT repaired as well. When I finally got my car back I test drove it and everything seemed fine. Great! Shortly after I decided to just pop my hood and see the work they did for myself. To my dismay, in the middle of my engine was a large tool that they left after they repaired what they broke! What. The. Hell. I couldn't believe my eyes, especially after what had happened the first time, and the fact that, who I presume to be the manager, told me he would fix the power steering fluid pump himself. The carelessness was unbelievable, not to mention the spark plug and diagnostics the first time were over $600!!!! Honestly next time I will literally spend the money to rent a car until my own mechanic can fix mine. Avoid this place at all costs!!! They are expensive and careless. I'm honestly worried that they did more harm than good to my vehicle and am going to have my mechanic personally check their work on their next business day. read more

I took my vehicle in for an inspection and oil change and my decision to go here was rewarded with rudeness, sloppy work and unprofessionalism. I took my vehicle in on a Saturday and advised them there was no rush, I could get it back either on Sunday or Monday. The person at the cashier said no problem but people behind the cashier who were managers stated that I would have to pay now. I said why would I have to pay now? The work is not even done yet. They said that the way they pay their staff, it was necessary for me to pay them now so they could pay their mechanics. I told them, not for nothing how you pay your team is not my concern and this shouldn't be discussed with customers. I'm also not going to pay for work that has not even been completed. The managers behind the counter, in front of customers, started telling the cashier, "remove all the discounts" as to say punish me for not paying us. Unfortunately for them the discounts were applied by the cashier already. Then when I picked up my vehicle on Monday, and upon entering my car there were grease stains on my driver and passenger side doors, grease stains on my driver floor mat and the old inspection sticker was removed from my window was left on the passenger seat. All in all, overall a terrible experience and unprofessional behavior displayed by the management team. If the managers behave this way, you can just imagine what else takes place. I have contacted their corporate office two times to discuss this matter and no one had contacted me. Just another example of "I don't care about customer service culture" at this store and corp. I will never return to this store nor recommend this store to anyone else. Stay away and go some place else. read more

While I understand the push as it is a money maker for the company, I really don't appreciate being hard sold on a credit card. Y'all suck messed up my Subaru break calipers... and you could not find the right rotors and took forever.

I was trying to avoid coming to this place to begin with because I know they like to fabricate recommended repairs to get more money from you. I've been here before with my other car and they tried to con me into getting my struts replaced for $1700 even though another garage verified they were perfectly fine. Anyways, the only reason I went was because I had new tires I bought from TireRack that I needed installed and the normal garages I go to don't have an alignment machine. I figured how can they really screw up with a simple job like this... I should have just slapped myself for considering Firestone and kept searching. I called them Monday morning and scheduled a 11am appointment on Thursday. I took my car in even a little early at 10:30am and said I'm dropping it off, but I'll be in the area running some errands and to call me when it's done. Well after me calling back 3 times to check the status since a long time went by, they weren't done till 3:30pm WTF!!?? How does it take you 5 hours to install 4 tires (that were in the backseat of my car) and do alignment??? I told them what was the point of even having an appointment if you let it drag out this long and the guy on the phone said "well the appointment is just to get you in here". Then after it's finally done they try to "recommend" an additional $400 in scheduled maintenance for useless filler stuff like changing cabin air filter, etc. and I tell them no way. Now I know for sure I'll never be back to this Firestone or any other franchise automotive center, I will stick with only mom and pop style garages. Once they noticed the tires I bought on my own weren't their shit brand, they probably just threw my car at the end of schedule to get done. And don't tell me "you were busy", there was only 3 other cars there. If in the future, my car were to break down in their parking lot I would have it towed somewhere else to get fixed. I stopped by today after work to have a flat tire fixed. Was told it would take a hour and half before they could get to me. I set down and just watched the tv. After over 2 hours they finally pulled my truck in and changed my tire which took all of 15 minutes, didn't put the tire back under the truck were it belongs. Thieves. Took my 1 year old car here for inspection. They passed me saying my tires were 2/32nd with under 20k miles. They said the will pass me this time but I need to replace my tires soon. The said some car companies put soft crappy tires on there. Went back 1 year later 40k miles and they said the same thing. After I paid and got the keys I said it's funny how you said the exact same thing to me last year and they said they well you need to replace them soon. NEW MANAGER! I noticed that the reviews for this place weren't that good but I just needed to get a nail pulled out of my tire and patched. While I was there, I learned that Scott the new manager has only been there for 4 days and he appeared to be getting this branch really dialed-in. The entire time I was there he was coaching and explaining new processes to the employees and they seemed to be welcoming the efficiency being put in place. I was in and out of there fast! I took my car there for a state inspection, this place charged me over $2000 for some repair works which I think rather small but otherwise won't let me pass the inspection, I thought these were required and just my luck so I paid and moved on. Only today I found out my friend had a much newer car and also been charged around $1400 for a inspection?! There must be something wrong! I brought my wife's car in for an oil change and they gave me a whole list of bulbs that were out that needed to be changed to pass inspection. I elected to change the bulbs myself rather than pay the obscene amount they were asking to change bulbs. When I went to change out my back up bulbs I discovered that they had actually been disconnected and the bulbs were fine. These things don't just come loose and for both of them to be removed would be an amazing coincidence. No chance I ever go back to this place despite the convenience. read more

Good for tires but that's it. Sent my wife in for a front end alignment, (one of Pa's famed pot holes). They saw a woman in heals and came up with, bad tie rods, broken spring, bad struts, bad wheel hub, the list went on. She says no just do the alignment, they give her the story they can't because all these things are safety issues. So I go back with her to get the car, (I used to be a mechanic) boy the story changed quick. Yeah no thanks. Went to another shop. Even said "hey check things out while your at it". 2 hrs later picked up the car with just the alignment done and a thumbs up on everything else. Been 6 months now, and just passed an inspection. Still no tie rods, broken springs, etc, etc. Don't trust these guys. They're following the corporate money grab playbook to a "T". There aught to be very stiff fines for thieves like this. Oh and the "buy 3 get one free" tire special. Price your tires on line folks. It's really an "overcharge for three get one free" which translate to, your paying for four tires at regular prices.
