This was my second time at Suvna as I was satisfied with the first visit. I was also a walk in. When I go to threading, I typically request sideburns in addition to brows (I have brown hair and I like cleaning up this side profile before events/trips.) during the treatment, the individual threading my sideburns went well beyond my sideburns into my lower chin, cheek, and more, which I was not comfortable with as I have sensitive skin and treatment wasn't requested there. I have experience threading this area and it was well beyond other's scope. The individual had difficulty with my right sideburn, the first side she did, and proceeded to rush the left side. When I got into my car after paying and tipping, I noticed that I had three bloody marks on my lower chin where she cut me with the thread. This is highly upsetting, given I had come in for sideburns and this area never should have been in scope, and now the skin is damaged. I am happy to share photos of the chin cuts at people's request. I read through 1 or 2 negative reviews below and I would agree with the sentiment that there must be a few new staff outside the owner that are less experienced. Still a solid affordable place, but wanted to share my experience.

She took the time to figure out what I wanted, and did a great job delivering. She also showed me how to shape and maintain them at home, which I really appreciated. Came back this week to get a facial and had a great experience yet again. She uses quality products, makes the experience relaxing and pleasant, and left my skin feeling fantastic. Hydrafacials are notoriously super spendy and I've only had one before, so admittedly my expectations were high. The space is darling! Very calming and peaceful decor. Check in was easy. I was surprised to see the service beds are not in separate rooms but just separated by curtains - this didn't affect the experience until the end when another client was talking loudly next to me. My esti was very kind - she asked me about my current routine and I walked through what I was using. Some of her suggestions surprised me, as they differed from what my dermatologist had recommended, but appreciated her input. The treatment itself was good - I love seeing how much gunk the hydrafacial pulls out! I was a bit bummed that my facial didn't include neck or décolletage - other facials I've gotten at other spaces have done those as part of the facial. Perhaps that's just not included with a hydrafacial? As the most expensive offering though, it was a bit of a bummer. I do feel it helped hydrate and cleanse my face, but am not sure if I would come back soon for that particular treatment. I'd consider trying one of their more affordable mini or regular facials in the future though!
