Venturing into the former (what I thought would be vacant) Keg and Case, I slowly discovered a…read moretotally fresh concept with what appeared to be pinball only machines setup on the exterior level at first glance. Upon further investigation, I learned how it all works post speaking with the staff member. First off, the pinball exterior machines are ran by a totally different company than Starcade and all those machines are .25 cents each. Starcade is stucked inside the former giant main restaurant of Keg and Case which offers unlimited gaming for $20. All the machines are set to free play after you pay the fee. There is a bar serving basic snacks such as chips, pizza and on tap local sodas. The liquor license was just recently obtained and the staff seems to think this will get rolling out within the next few months. I'm not a gamer, yet I can tell you lots of games exist vs. just pinball like the exterior. Inside Starcade, you will find both a main level and upstairs (where the former brewery was). It's dark, there are fun twinkle lights and LED signs. Starcade used to be located within Rosedale Mall so come give a warm welcome to them as they lay roots in Saint Paul! I look forward to returning and trying some games. It has a Can Can Wonderland feel but less complex. I'm very glad the building is getting used as it's a beautiful venue. Enjoy!

The kids loved the variety of arcade games. super value! Parking was easy. Very good service.read more

All entrants pay an admission fee (kids under 5 years are free), and all video games, kids rides, and older-style games are free to play. Mini golf and some other activities are Ala carte. There is street parking and an underground parking lot, but, on weekends, parking can be tough to find. There is a cafe to purchase food. Options are flatbreads, baskets, tacos, and more. The food quality is pretty good, but pricey. I get it. The place probably has large overhead costs, so a business needs to make its margins. There is also a beverage wall with various kinds of drinks (mostly-all (?) alcoholic), which are self-pour. I forgot to take photos. Trust me when I say the place is very unique and is great to check out. Pros: - Great place to bring kids - The older-style games are very amusing Cons: - Food is on the pricier side

It was explained to me that the whole thing was run off an iPad in the back room. We went for New Year's Eve had a lovely time, food was great as usual. They even brought out one of my favourite pinball machines as a request. The only thing I could knock a star down for was I paid over $10 for probably the worst milkshake I've ever had. Seriously, the milkshake wasn't much thicker than water. And it was very small. Other than that, I'll just remember not to get the ice cream next time. The best thing about Can-Can Wonderland is the fact that it's a real arcade, not a kiddie ticket casino. And in the evening it becomes a very nice adults only place but still doesn't feel like you're gonna get in a bar fight but you can simply just have a good time..

This is my 2nd time here. First time was for a birthday party. They had rented out the pickleball courts and I recalled the food variety and taste as memorable and delicious. This time around, I found myself here again for a Yelp party event. Once again, I had such a great time. I kicked off the evening with a drink, tots, buffalo shrimp bites, and a bao. Drink was so pretty with the purple butterfly tea with the lemonade. Garnished to perfection. My server was very friendly, too! Then made my way to the yelp party. The food catered in was outstanding! Again, loads of variety. Each platter was made with perfection. I just love this place and highly recommend!

No need to be sporty spice to have fun too. My go to here is one that will have me come by just for a meal without all of the activities. It's good flavor and crunch all in one. It's kind of amusing this is called LITT when it's so dark inside; yeah, I know they mean the other kind of lit! They have many choices for getting to that, local beers and other beverages on tap and I spotted some THC drinks that were not on the menu. The general darkness is perfect for the massive array of pinball machines (they take quarters!) and also sets off the Halloween decorations. The booths are also sparkly copper colored so that makes them stand out. Good quality bar food all around, most of our party got some kind of sandwich and fries, so I made sure to steal a fry which was nice and crisp. My healthier eating son thought they were a bit too salty, the others didn't notice. I got a half order of nachos which was plenty! It's probably better to share these no matter which size you get. Nice fresh toppings and just a mild sinus clearing effect. I finished them later that night, didn't quite go as far as licking the queso off the paper, but it crossed my mind.

Mine had sport peppers and was delicious! The gang shot tasted great I'd view it more as a drink than a shot. The mystery shot was fun and good. It was pink. I have not idea what was in it but that was a shot for sure vs the tang shot. I had a new drink called something about a mansion. It had gin in it and other components that I can't recall at the moment but it was very good and I had two.
