I've been coming here for a while and I loved it since the first time! But today I went in and asked the lady to clean up my brows, which is what I say every time. Meaning don't make them skinnier just clean them up a little. But today the lady made them way skinnier and I am extremely fucking pissed off and I'm never coming back and I'm telling all the people that I know who go there to stop going there because Theodora just seem to do whatever they want with your eyebrows, instead of what you ask for. read more

This place SUCKS and the staff is rude too, don't waste your time! One of 2 girls working there started working on a girl that arrived after my daughter and I did. Mind u we had already been waiting over an hour! The other girl asked for my name and noticed that we were supposed to be next so she then told her co worker something in their Language and the lady just turned around and proceeded to work on the girl she put ahead of us. I said out loud that we were next and had been waiting a while they pist me off so My daughter and I turned around and left! That's BS! read more

My wife came to this business and just like the other reviews here say they were very rude after we told them that they messed up her eye brows. Employees here are so disrespectful to the clients, PLEASE READ THIS AND DO NOT GO HERE . They even told us to fuck off. Such rude people . read more

**MY EYEBROWS ARE BLISTERED AND BLOODY! DO NOT GO HERE!** This was my first time at the Parkway location, Friday 2/5/2016 and I figured since I was in the area to get my brows done here opposed to my normal location at Grossmont. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for 7 years now and have never experienced what I have at this location. I get my brows done about once a month and I noticed that the older lady doing my brows was a little forceful but I figured I was probably more outgrown than normal so I let it slide (even though she was cleaning the blood from her cutting me off my face). When she finished my brows looked great, I loved them (despite being extremely thin). I was a little red which is obviously normal but then the night when on and around 11pm when I was getting ready for bed my brows were throbbing! At this point they were bright red and extremely sensitive, I couldn't even touch them.I looked closely at my eyebrows to notice the top part of my skin was GONE! You could see straight to the white meat. I do not have sensitive skin by any means nor am I allergic to anything and I have gotten my eyebrows threaded once a month for the past 7 years. A few days passed and my eyebrows were still sore, finally on Monday 2/8 I could touch my brows without wanting to cry. Today almost a week later there are bumps all around my eyebrows and today when I could finally touch them little pieces of dried blood came off my brows. It's embarrassing how my eyebrows are completely scabbed and red because of this. I'd rather have bushy eyebrows than scabs all over my forehead. I just don't want this happening to anyone else, I have definitely learned my lesson. You can't just go anywhere! read more

My aunt got her eyebrows done here the other day, she signed in & they took her immediately. Right when I sat down to wait for her, she was literally done. She told me to come look at her eyebrows & they weren't clean how they are suppose to look when you get them threaded. But my aunt was trying to grow out her eyebrows but they were grown out enough to get a nice clean shape which they didn't do. They left her brows as if she plucked the few extra hairs on the bottom. & she told me she was going to sneeze while she was threading & told the lady & the lady rolled her eyes & looked annoyed. I don't recommend this place. They look rude and they're old, they really looked like some old witches. Probably explains why they can't do eyebrows. read more

They do not pay attention to detail. They just rush to get you out of there. I've been twice and tried two different people. Neither did a good job. They don't trim the brow hairs and they don't tweeze the leftover hairs that were missed. I had to go home and do a cleanup myself. Very disappointed. Will not return. read more

I love this place! They have changed my eyebrows for life! I had no idea what I was missing out on. The salon is very open and friendly! If there is a wait when you go, it is never very long. It does hurt, this is not something for people who cannot handle pain. But for $10 a session, I will do this forever! Love them!! read more

I had a really good experience. First time ever getting my eyebrows threaded. I saw someone write a review that it was the most painful things.... Well duh... If its your first time every doing it of course it's going to hurt. Don't rate the salon a 1 star because your a big baby. Your ripping hair out of your skin . It wasn't that bad. First time might sting a bit. The girl that helped me very nice and gave me. Rewards card.... If I do so many eye brow visits I get 1 free. Highly recommended read more

This place just lost a few customers. I have been coming here for 3 years. Usually, the women are rude, but they do a good job, so I overlooked it. Today, however, I am upset. My friend and I came in at about noon and we were told that it was about a 30 minute way. We saw 4 customers waiting, so we signed in on the list and said we would be back. We returned 30 minutes later just as the last customer was leaving. Yay we thought! But no! The attendant, Mina I think is her name, looked at us and said "no!" without us saying a word. She was on the phone and told us it would be another 10 min. She walked to the back room and closed the door. We could hear her speaking on the phone. At one point, she walked back out, looked at us, grabbed her coffee and walked back in. While we say there, two more customers walked in. After about 10 minutes of sitting there, another customer asked me if anyone was here to help. I told her what was going on and she just walked out. Finally, Mina walked out and said "you" while pointing at me and signaling me to go to the chair. She did a good job, as always, but the customer service is horrible. Never coming here again. read more

I've actually gotten my brows down here a couple times and while the employees aren't the warmest they've never been rude to me. And my brows come out great every time so I'm happy read more

Very disrespectful staff and poor job at threading my eyebrows. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

I have been wanting to try threading for a long time. I have walked past this place in the mall so many times yet never stopped in. I was frustrated with my eyebrows having no shape. So I decided I would open up yelp and see what others thought about it the brow shaping Salon. There was mostly great reviews. The only bad ones being people wining about having to wait or rude service. I really dont care how long I wait and I dont require anyone to smile at me or make small talk... All I want is my eyebrows done. If they can shape them and make them look good then even better. I have gone twice in the last few weeks now. I even took my daughter back for her brows. Mine have never looked better. I cant remember the ladies name who did mine but she has perfect eyebrows and short curly hair. Shes really pretty. She was polite, quick, helpful, and extremely skilled. I will continue to come back! The bonus card they give out is a plus! read more

This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded at this place. The lady that did my brows took less than 5 minutes on my brows. She could have cleaned them better. On the plus side my brows did match and were not over threaded. read more

I love this place!!! They listen to what the customer wants. After a previous bad experience at another salon I waited to get my brows threaded again. She listened to what I wanted and the pain wasn't as bad as I thought. I highly recommend this place!!! read more

The worst place ever!!! Please don't go there! They are very rude! I went yesterday and the woman said many horrible comments! Very unprofessional.... they don't have any idea how to treat people... read more

Amazing! I went for the first time to get my eyebrows threaded and of course I was nervous, but the lady was SO sweet and I told her how I wanted my brows done and she did it exactly, or even better than how I wanted it :) I really liked the friendly service and there was no wait. I have VERY sensitive skin and it did not hurt at all when I got them threaded. There is nothing negative I can say about this place it's absolutely awesome and I would recommend anyone to go here! Especially if you have sensitive skin - don't be afraid to get your brows threaded here :) read more

I have come to this place a few times because it is close to my house, I would rather go out of my way to hillcrest to get my brows done at beauty by dolly then EVER come to this place EVER again. They are rude, make you wait when NO one is there and ask for tips. If I am going to give a tip I will give one don't ask! So rude. One lady kept checking her phone while doing my brows and left me with a bald spot I was so upset. The older lady is beyond rude and also left me with a bald spot and completely RUINED my shape. I totally advise against this place, as I said earlier take the trip to San Diego brow shaping my ass, these girls don't give two damns if they mess up your brows! read more

I'm so glad I decided to try this place out. I was in a hurry and needed to get my eyebrows done ASAP. almost every salon closes before 7pm, but this one stays open till 9, great for last minute customers like me. The ladies aren't rude, but they're not too friendly lol. The lady that helped me did an amazing job. She fixed my messy eyebrows in less than 10 minutes. AND YOU CAN PAY WITH YOUR CARD. read more

I was in this salon on Saturday 9/1/12 and the Indian lady that was there did not know how to communicate. I asked for the upper lip and if she saw any peach fuzz on the chin, to please do as well. She said I will have to charge you for the upper lip and chin. I said that she could just do my upper lip. She didn't understand that simple statement. She said here are the prices, she opened up the prices on the brochure and said, I have a camera watching me so the owner is going to get upset with me if I don't charge you. I had already asked her to just do the upper lip but she just went off as if I asked again to do the peach fuzz for no charge. She said it over again and I said goodbye. She said earlier, you plucked and you shouldn't and just went off as if she was my Mother and I was in trouble. This is due to hormones. I know all this. I've been dealing with this for years. When I went to another Threading shop today, she was so nice and said We pluck our own chin too. I do it in the direction of the hair growth. Estheticians do this. Indian people speak English but alot of them don't know how to be customer service oriented...due to different cultures. I would not recommend this place. It should be a nourishing, pleasurable experience. read more

Mixed feelings love the young girl that works there! She does an amazing job! but the older lady rushes.. Im not so picky but she left me with a bald spot.. and almost ripped my eyelashes! She was rushing the whole time as if she was competing. GET THEM DONE WITH THE YOUNGER GIRL! read more

Henna is not great. Went with a friend and showed the lady a picture, she gave it half effort. My design was extremely lopsided (she couldn't even draw a circle) and my friends was as well. I could most definitely do better with my left hand. Very disappointed :( read more

DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE!!! I have been coming here at this EXACT place (even after they relocated near the Walmart from the food courts) for about 6 years now. I used to go to this particular lady (older women, middle-eastern, deeper skin complexion) but haven't seen her there anymore. Reason being, I'm SUPER picky when it come to my eyebrows, so when someone does good, I keep to him/her and only him/her. However, like I said I haven't seen her for the past year, so I tried someone new. She did good the first few times, (I get my eyebrows threaded every month or two) but then last time I went to her, she MESSED up my eyebrows, making them SUPER thin, And uneven. (Keep in mind, (not bragging) I have nice, arched thick eyebrows). I had told her she messed up and started arguing with me. Long story short, I stopped going to her and she was super rude. I had to let my eyebrows grow out for 3 months. Today, 1/20/17 I went in to get my eyebrows done, with this women name Abeer, who did good on my eyebrows the last 2 times I went with her (telling her to take it step by step so I can see what she's doing) and today she completely screwed them up. I literary cried on how screwed up my eyebrows are....literary. I did not pay for the screwed up eyebrows she did. She argued with me and even asked to take out more hairs to even out my eyebrows!!! If you want thin, screwed up eyebrows, be my guest. This place has lost a 6 year loyal client!!! read more

I've been here about five to six times and those times were good but this last time I went was feb 3rd and that will be the LAST time I go!!! I was growing out my eyebrows for about two months and let me say they were HAIRY! So I get there I told this older lady I wanted my eyebrows thin but NOT too thin and she said okay. But when this lady started she was ROUGH just throwing my head around all fast, didnt even let me know she was about to move my head!! Then she didn't even clear up the hair that was all over my face, I was literally wiping my own hair with my OWN HAND!!!!! She didn't even care!!! Then I tried looking at my eyebrows but for somewhere in their lighting they looked different then outside lighting, when I was in car looked at them again and OMG ! They were TERRIBLE my right eyebrow was much more thinner than my left, usually my left is thinner because I have a scar there but nope it was my right eyebrow!!! That was my LAST and FINALLY visit to this place, lady was ROUGH, didn't clean/give me a tissue to clean my face, and then she left my eyebrows horrible. Mind you I did call to talk to the manager but she wasn't there, I did ask for the number they had posted there to report this but they didn't give it to me. I'm over this place I wish I can give NO stars but I guess one will do........ read more

I had only threaded my eyebrows once at the time and since my first time threading at Super Brows in Grossmont was so smooth, I decided to try this place out because it was closer to home. I was satisfied as the younger lady had threaded my eyebrows. When I came in a second time the older lady took me. She was threading me way too fast and it was so painful that a couple days later you could see cuts by my brows. I went in again to give it one more try. I got the older lady again and she did the same thing! I told her to give me a break because again she was rushing through it and causing me a lot of pain. There was nobody else in the salon so I had no idea why she was threading so fast. Maybe it's her technique... whatever it is it sucks. This time she made my brows too thin and I was not happy. I decided not leave her a tip this time because she did the same thing twice. After I signed the receipt she did not say one word to me after. Not even a goodbye! She was so pissed lol! I checked this place out before I read the reviews. Reading them now, I know exactly what people are talking about when they say do not go to the older lady. It's true! TERRIBLE SERVICE. I do not recommend read more

The salon is very clean, sophisticated looking with peachy pink tone colored walls and furniture and with hanging chandeliers. As for the woman that did my upper lip threading, she was very nice and worked quickly. I was very happy with the results. :) I'd definitely come back. :) read more

I've been here twice...once to get my brows done and the next day to take my friend to get hers done. I had never gotten them threaded before and they got me in and got me out. The ladies were real nice and knew exactly what I was looking for. It was painless and it was great. I've decided to stop plucking, except those horrible dark ones. I will go back in another 3-4 weeks. read more

So I came once before, they did well on my brows, $10, and offer a cool 5 visits, get the 6th free card- so I came again this morning to have my brows threaded. They're supposed to be open at 10am according to sign on door AND on their website and yetttt it's now 10:20am and still no sign anyone is moving in the dark storefront. Wish I could give zero, but one star for annoying and unprofessional business practice. No one has time for this. read more

I do a routine of every 2 weeks of cleaning my eyebrows.Everyone is nice and the price is convenient. I go to one specific person, "Mina" I believe is her name. What I also like is that if you go 5 times, they give you a 6th one free. You have to have a card which they stamp and staple the receipts to every time you go in. read more

No wait and my lady did a quick clean job. Didn't ask me how I wanted my brows but she knew how to shape them to make me look good without making it look too thin. read more

Messed up my eyebrow never again going there practically took them all off and I'm left with a line we're very thick before smh..

This was my first time going to this place. I went to just go get them touched up and I asked her not to make them any thinner and that I s exactly what she did. She was very rude and did not even give me a mirror to loom at my eyebrows so I had no idea how bad they where until after they where both done. I left the store with a bleeding eyebrow and this was yesterday and my eyebrows are still very sore and red. read more

This place is absolutely horrible. The ladies do a mediocre job eyebrow threading. In addition, the associates are COMPLETELY rude. I've been here a total of 5 times, because I recently moved to the area and could not find any other place to go, but I will not be returning. Each time I have been to the location, I have been spoken to in an incredibly rude manner by multiple associates. Do not waste your time. Go somewhere else. read more

My husband and I went to the Parkway Plaza. I decided to have my brows threaded. I went inside and the girl was wiping down the chairs with rag. She cleaned counter too. She asked me to wait and she would be right back. She walked to cart in middle of mall and asked for change (store just opened up). She returned and counted money and put in the drawer. Then she asked me to have a seat and as she started to put her hands on my face, I said WAIT. I asked her if she was going to wash her hands. I told her I just witnessed her cleaning and handled money. She said her hands were cleaned. I got up and told her I could not believe she would not clean her hands. I'm not a germ freak but after what I saw her do, then starting to touch my face. I walked out. She never said she was sorry and acted like I was asking her to do something she had never done before. I will not go back. I wrote the company asking if they train their employees and am waiting to receive a response back. I'm really surprised. This is a fairly new store. Just thought I would share my experience. I will not return. I'll go back to the gal at Nordstroms, it costs more but you get what you pay for. read more
