Since I needed to kill time while my car was being fixed at the dealership, I decided to give Brow Spa a try. I'm glad I didn't read the reviews beforehand because I probably wouldn't have gone tbh. As of May 2026, brows are $13 while lips are $10. I might go back to get some Henna in the summer. My brows were done by Gia, who works here on Mondays and Tuesdays. She was on the phone while doing my brows, but I honestly didn't mind. I came in to get my brows done, not for small talk. She also made sure I was happy with one brow before moving on to the other. So I finally was able to catch the lady who does the henna and let's just say I wish I hadn't. This crap looks like a 1st grader drew it. This is the WORST henna art I've EVER had. The lines are not crisp and the quality is poor. I'll NEVER be back and I would advise you to go elsewhere too. Then to top it off when I asked her for a price beforehand, she wouldn't give me one, and I told her just to do something in the $20-$25 range, and when she was done she TRIED to charge me $35. Have been going here for 11 years came in yesterday 15 minutes before closing trying to get threaded to have the lady sitting at the table shaking her head no and turning me away. Today I went back at 7:30 on my lunch break she had the open sign on the door and was sitting down at the counter when I walked in she told me it was "closing" and rolled her eyes at me. This is not someone who normally does my eyebrows I'm very disappointed because I love the two lady's who usually does my eyebrows but the new employee is rude. I visited Parkway Plaza with Aunt who lives in the area, and while I was at the mall, I saw Brow Spa! I've been meaning to get my eyebrows done for a while. Usually, I go to Brazilia Skin Care at UTC Westfield by my university campus and they've done a wonderful job for roughly $4 more but it's great. However, I was here and decided to get my eyebrows done here--a mistake! Everyone, please learn from this and research the spa on Yelp before you impulsively go in. I'm not quite sure who threaded my eyebrows today but she was quite rough. My eyebrows and the surrounding skin was noticeably swollen. I know "beauty is pain" but if the lady who threaded my eyebrows was a bit slower, I think I wouldn't had been so swollen. In the picture, you can tell on eyebrow is noticeably more swollen than the other too. More importantly, my eyebrows look like sisters, not twins! One eyebrow is thinner than the other, and while this might be subtle, I'm not okay with this. I don't look bad but I feel insecure about how thin they turned out, and the fact they aren't symmetrical! I'm just hoping my eyebrows grow back faster, and no one notices. I absolutely LOVE this place! The women here have never disappointed me in getting my brows (and upper lip ) together. They're extremely fast, I'm always out in 10 minutes. Even if there are other customers, the wait isn't too long. The lady's who work there are very nice, understanding, and considerate of what you want done. I had very bad experience leaving me with possible scars in eyelid skin. Experience was very painful, and person threading my eyebrows kept swabbing my eyebrow with cotton. I didn't connect this at first. Later my skin was very painful, and red. Next day I could really see the damage. This is what it looks like today... Two days later. The other issue was lack of communication and sense that conversation in Arabic between employees masked mocking me. I tipped her $5. They charged me .40 to use a charge. I doubt it would make any difference to go in to show the results. I'm still deciding what to do, but the end result to me will be scarring. I brought my son in a week ago for a henna tattoo. I was quoted $25 for a dragon tattoo that was fairly big and detailed, but I had to wait for the lady who does them. So a week later, my son and his friend go to the mall to get it done. The lady said she can't do that tattoo, so he picks a smaller, not detailed at all,dragon tattoo. A few hours later, he takes off the paste, the tattoo is an orange color, which is normal, but we thought it would be the black color, which is what he wanted and it is darker I some areas, lighter in others, but overall pretty faded. Basically looks like crap. I call, the lady just gives excuses, tells me it will be darker the next day, so I wait two days, look at it again and it looks like a faded marker on his skin, so I go to brow spa with him, show them, asked why he got charged $20 extra dollars, plus a crappy tattoo, then the lady calls the manager. I talk to him, no refunds available, but he tells me to come the next day and the lady will redo it. The next day, the lady says she can't redo it on top of the old one because it will be worse, understandable, so I say just refund me $20 bucks then, although I would only pay $10 for this pos. The manager again gets on the phone, says no refunds, pick whatever tattoo you would like in a different spot. So my son picks a design. The lady tells me, oh that's not good for boys, that's for girls. I say why? Boys can get that too. She said no it's for girls. Then she said she can't do that one. We heard that a lot. So false advertisement as it's finest. They can't do half the stuff they have in there and they only do it in orange, which is what they JUST NOW told me. They don't do the black color. My daughter started going here and she loves it. They have always done an amazing job on her. I have gotten my eyebrows waxed for years and no matter how good a waxed is there is always a chance of them taking too much off. So after my daughters continued persuasion I tried brow spa and they have done an amazing job. There is a specific woman I prefer to do mine and she always does a great job. I love it when I go into a service store and they recognize me and are super nice. The brow spa does this. They ask how things are going and make great conversation. Some of these reviews are funny. The store is in east county, very hot, so yeah they have ac on an want the door kept closed. I've never seen them yell at anyone but yes they will ask you to close the door if you didn't. Worst place to do your eyebrows ever! The lady didn't listen to me and she did what she know and she made me look like a Maleficent. She made my eyebrows very thin even on several occasions I asked her not to do that!!! She was so horrible and kept asking me personal questions instead of asking me what I wanted. Abeer does a good job, but she's got an attitude. She's pretty rude and will make comments about your weight or the way you look. Also, she'll tell you that she'll honor your reward card any day of the week, but she doesn't follow through with that promise. Every time I get my 5 receipts she always happily tells me that I can redeem it on any day regardless of what the card says, but she doesn't honor her word and she'll deny saying it. I've been going here for years, the only reason i continued to go was because of how close it is to my house. This place is completely hit or miss!! It all depends on the lady you get. There was one instance where a customer wanted a certain lady to do her eyebrows (so she was waiting for her to finish) and the other lady working got offended and told her "no" and made her come to her... They also have a stamp card system so once you've gotten your eyebrows done 6 times you get the 7th one free.. Some advice: don't tell them that's how you're paying until they're done, they'll purposely do a half ass job (i've learned the hard way) recently about two weeks ago i had my stamp card full and went in to get them done for free and i handed her the card when it was time to pay and the lady rudely replied "oh so you got me working for free now..." Lastly, they yelled at you to close the door if you leave it open or if a previous customer leaves it open they yell at you to close it when you leave. There was only one person working there and as I walked in and I was about to sign in like I know ur supposed to, ( I normally go to grossmont, but we were in the area) she stopped me right there and even complained. She said that since it was so close to closing and she had 3 other people she couldn't do me. I always go crossing my fingers for certain employees and when I find that they aren't working that day, I'll skip it. Beyond happy that I found this place! I noticed it while cruising the mall one day (note: I don't actually cruise the mall) and came home to do some research on threading. I've been a plucker for years but I'm getting sick of the time it takes and uneven eyebrows. I've recently let my eyebrows grow in and thicken up (thank you, current thick eyebrow trend, well endowed brow girls like myself are so stoked), and I'd been trying to find a waxing salon to keep them "in shape" for me. But after doing some research on threading, I realized that was what I really wanted. Plus I love how simple it is. And its history is impressive. ANYWAY, I came in about an hour before closing on Saturday and they were able to take me immediately (another group was just leaving). I didn't get the young lady's name who did my threading, but she was beautiful and sweet and very skilled. In only a handful of minutes she was finished, my brows were perfect, and I had a new repeat customer card and I was out the door. The whole process was totally painless for me (but keep in mind, like I said up there, I have been plucking for years) and I had no redness or swelling or anything else. I had a nice conversation with my threader and just very much enjoyed the experience altogether and wondered why I hadn't been doing this for years, especially for only $10. I will be back time and time again. I'm so happy I stumbled onto this salon. I feel weird about posting a photo of my eyebrow on Yelp, so I'm probably not going to do it, but just know in your heart of hearts that my eyebrows are perfect and amazing and sent straight from heaven thanks to this salon. read more

After years of coming here my business with this place stops now. I was told I cannot use my free service I earned due to five eyebrow threadings completed on my reward card, today on a Wednesday. They stated this was due to Covid however they have no signs stating that they will not accept their own reward card since their reopening. That's bad business. Went in a few days ago to get my eyebrows done. I went in with a full set of eyebrows that just needed to get cleaned up. This is the place I go to for my eyebrows. They always leave my brows really good. 3 stars because there's been a time or 3 that they left them to thin. Another time the girl threaded so slow it was terribly painful. They've switched employees so much that you don't know to take the new girl or not. But outa the 20 times I've been there there's only like 3 times that wasn't great. I like that they give you a coupon card so after 5 visits you get the next one free as long as it's not on a Friday. The woman who did her henna was rude and was rolling her eyes because we didn't want the 25$ design that she offered us. They do not pay attention to detail. They just rush to get you out of there. I've been twice and tried two different people. Neither did a good job. They don't trim the brow hairs and they don't tweeze the leftover hairs that were missed. I had to go home and do a cleanup myself. Very disappointed. Will not return. read more
