Ann already pre procedure me with how to prepare myself for this process. Just similar to my role as a circulator nurse. I stepped into the studio where I fell in love with calm, tranquil, clean vibes. Ann is very professional & takes time to explain about the process, consent & color selection. As a in nurse who just wants a colorful lip that won't smudge. She did take her time to outlined, placed the numbing paste, lightly put very fine, new needle into my lip. She keeps adding color until it fully filled up! The most important thing is I felt ZERO pain after numbing process. I did not swollen at all afterwards. I also received the whole set of post procedure care kit and instructions. The color is what I showed them from my favorite roses color. I am beyond happy & want to shout to the universe to do your blushing lip here based on my real experiences today. Picked the right person for your permanent make up artist because they can change your confident constantly. I felt beautiful, safe money to buy expensive lipstick & glosses. Goodbye my pale, uneven skin lip. THANKS to Ann & Kate and myself who dare to invest for my own happiness :) Ps. She listened to what I wanted and made thoughtful suggestions based on my preferences and her professional opnions. I felt really comfortable with Ann and she did a great job with both and she's so light-handed. I loved how both my eyebrows and my lips came out! It's been a week and I'm totally amazed how much pigment both my eyebrows and lips retained! Both are still healing, and is still peeling, but I am happy with how both has turned out so far. Definitely going back to Ann for my touch ups!

Take that as a lesson and try to shape not overpluck. I had been letting my brows grow in and just drawing them in all this time. I had looked into permanent brows and microblading for a long time but never did it due to cost and upkeep. Anyway, with hormonal shifts and passing time, my brows have been looking sparse these last few years. Drawing in and powdering my brows in the morning takes longer than I would prefer. I did a deep dive into microblading and nano-blading, weighing the pros and cons. I settled upon a few permanent make-up artists in the area and reached out to them. It was time for me to take charge of my morning routine. Saena Kim has a robust repertoire on Yelp and Instagram so I reached out to her. Making an appointment was easy as she utilizes an online booking system. The consultation is $50 and goes towards your procedure if you choose to continue with her. With my oily skin, I knew that most PMA would suggest combination powder brows, but she suggested nano brows that are machine assisted. I trusted her with literally tattooing my face, so I went with her suggestion after voicing my concerns. I asked about the inks, she used (which are inorganic). I asked about her experience with nano brows (4+ years). I asked about the numbing prior to the procedure (topically applied). My appointment from start to finish was about an hour and a half. She took the time to shape my brows, get feedback from me, and went to work with her machine. My pain was minimal; I might have fallen asleep. She has offered microblading services for years. She also offers lash extensions, brow lamination, brow correction, and lip blush too. She rents a space inside Sola Salons in the Woodbury Town Center. It's a small, cute space with feminine details and bright lighting. There are other beauty services offered inside the salon as well, just know where you need to go. There is plenty of parking in the lot. I will be back in a few weeks for a touch-up session but so far my brows have been looking more shapely than ever before. The brows are healing nicely and I will post an update with side-by-side images, when all is said and done. Thanks Saena for giving my brows new life!

She did however often missing areas and the lashes started falling off within a week of a visit not each time but frequently. I went 4 months without an appointment due to allowing my lashes a break and to grow naturally with vitamin. When I came back naturally, I guess I expected her to remember my lash style after having me as a client for four years and following her to new beginnings. Unfortunately, this was not the case when I sat in her chair she finished my lashes with a regular thin lash. I paid normal 166.75 that was including a 21% tip. I messaged her a day later asking for another appointment to give a full thick lash style. She charged an extra 25$ . . Which I was OK with as services are not free and I should've mentioned while in her chair.. 3weeks later I asked for another appointment.. scheduling conflicts prevented, and it took a week extra to get a scheduled appointment. I actually had to reach out to her because she ignored.My efforts to schedule an appointment before the 4 weeks mark . She proceeded to do my eyelashes with a hybrid cat eye. Completely satisfied as always with her work , never expecting perfection or complain about her work ethic she handed the payment device with a total amount of 189.75$ for a full hybrid cat eye with a 15% tip ... I was in shock as I was only prepared to pay my 120-140$ for a new full set ... Very upset and having to contact family to send an extra 60 for completing the service she provided .. we went back-and-forth on the amount I typically pay... I left letting her know she has lost a five-year client and she should inform people if prices go up.
