Such a luxe experience. Salon is clean and beautiful. Brows are perfect. She examines and knows how to do them perfectly. It really makes a difference when having someone who's a regular threader vs a specialist! read more

I have learned through the years that I prefer threading over waxing. It is so easy to make an appt online. I have been also bringing my teen daughter to get her brows threaded. Ivy has been doing an amazing job! Totally recommend! read more

I found Brow Essence a while ago on instagram looking to get threaded. I loved how my brows came out and I've been going since! The studio is very clean, bright, and cute in general. My brows are very thick, bold, and blocky and in the past, other places instinctively take off too much and leave me with an unflattering shape. I love and super appreciate Dani for keeping them thick and shaping them to to make them look more elongated & arched. I leave feeling gorgeous, Dani is the best! I live far, but my brows have never looked so good! read more

I got my brows waxed by Yoadi. All I got to say is... I have amazing brows thanks to her. I was blessed. During the whole process I told her it was perfect but she would go back and fix until it was PERFECT. This is my first time getting my brows tinted and I'm glad I found this location. Will definitely come back. See you guys soon! read more

Do NOT book with IVY. She always seems to be in a mood even tho she acts all nice. I recommend booking with anyone else but her. Don't say later you weren't warned. She will destroy your eyebrow's natural shape and be left with a shape that doesn't lift your features. read more

My brows always look so good when I get them done with Dani. I recommend 100% I get a thread and a tint

My tween had been begging to get her brows done. I went back and forth but finally decided to give in. I was nervous as I needed a gentle hand and an understanding that I didn't want her to have "adult brows" just a clean up to help with confidence. I called and Dani understood the assignment. We made an appointment the following day. The space is beautiful, the staff friendly and the location is easily accessible. I was also happy to find out that it is a black and women owned business which was icing on the cake for me! We'll be coming back ! Great experience! read more

Very unprofessional experience! I would not recommend. I had scheduled an appointment with IVY for Jan 26th . She sent me a text message Friday at around 10:30 pm saying she had an emergency and had to reschedule my appointment. I was totally ok with rescheduling. My next appointment was set for Feb 15th , She messaged me again later Friday night saying if I can come in a later time or to reschedule. When I already waited a whole month for this?! I said no, I don't want to reschedule and wanted for her to issue a refund. Mind you my card was already charged since the day I set that appointment. She replied back saying "sure , I'll ask my boss.. " I was being really patient. I sent her another message just to get an update and she did not respond to any of my messages. I called the salon and of course they don't answer their phone. She is not reliable and very unprofessional. Please stay away from people like that. Why have early appointments if you're not going to be available.. I paid for a service that was not done!! Horrible customer service. read more

Literally the best place for your eyebrows by far. I texted in for a last minute appointment, luckily Dani was able to squeeze me in & I've never looked back. Literally have been recommending Brow Essence to all my friends and family. read more

10/10 definitely recommend this place Dani and Ariee are so sweet they have both done my brow threading lamination and tint. I live almost 50 mins away from the location but the drive is always worth it because they do an amazing job read more

Found this place on ig and let me tell you do not always believe stuff you see on social media!!! She charges 3x for some brow lamination ugh she wanted to reschedule my appt even tho I booked accordingly for my upcoming wedding. What's the point of a appointment if your going to reschedule!!! I booked out weeks in advance, I told her I couldn't reschedule and to cancel the appointment and then she made up some excuse and that she can see me. When I came to the location it was so awkward, I felt so unwelcome. And of course she finished her friend no wonder she wanted to reschedule because she had someone over at that time. No explanation of what she's going to do the shit she used burn my brows it was painful. Mind you this was my first time too! Everything felt rushed Then she calls her friend to get lunch in the middle of the session so now I'm annoyed and have to hear 10 mins rant about how she wants her stupid salad to be prepare. The eyebrows lam was horrible save your money and go elsewhere. UPDATE: M'am no need to explain how to take care of brows when this should of been said during the service not after. Lol no card or oil was given to be clear. I won't return, thanks... read more

Dani does amazing work so it's really disappointing that she doesn't treat customers well. The reviews about the lack of customer service are correct. I'm not sure whether she only cares about certain customers or just doesn't know how to run a business, but she is unprofessional. She charges 2-4x as much as other threaders which would be fine if she was on time and professional. She constantly moves appointments around at the last minute and ignores client communication. Like the other poster, I gave her chances but each time she was either late/canceling for personal reasons or using her phone while doing my brows. Going to Brow Essence is not worth the hassle when the service is so bad and there are so many other great brow girls in LA. Edit: I don't know what her comment is saying. I have never left a review or been late. read more

Couldn't have had a better experience with Dani taking care of me! I had a few big events and celebrations coming up so I wanted to make sure I looked my best and Dani made that happen. Super easy to book an appointment and she was ready for me as soon as I arrived even though I arrived a little bit early. I found brow essence online and liked all their pics so I decided to book an appointment. When I arrived dani didn't greet me, didn't introduced herself nor asked me how I wanted my brows , she just told me to sit down. She had 3 other girls with her and she used me to show them how to thread. I have anxiety so I didn't speak up for myself but I was uncomfortable! I just wanted to get my brows done in peace, not have multiple people in my face talking about me. At the end my brows were okay, I paid and left. A month later, I needed my brows done so I decided to go here again. When I walked in she was on a phone call. Again she didn't greet me she just told me to sit down. She was on the phone the whole time while doing my brows! This time when she was done, my brows were horrible. She thinned them out, threaded half of my brow off , gave me no shape just a straight line. I was in disbelief but nothing can be done but to grow them back out. Her being on her phone call made her distracted. Even when I left she was still on the phone. She could careless. this girl has no customer service. read more

I was searching for a new brow place in the area I recently moved to and came across Brow Essence. I had the pleasure of getting my brows done by Dani. She's super sweet and took her time with my brows. I got the threading plus tinting service. I came in with little to no eyebrows and now I have a whole new set of eyebrows! I'm satisfied with the service. read more

I made an appointment for my mom after looking and looking i found someone who had great pictures on instagram and even if it was a little on the pricier side i wanted to get my mom the best! My mom didn't feel very welcome and didn't receive any care tips before or after because she was on the phone the entire time! A little disappointed and my moms tint was gone after 2 days and sincerely dont feel like we got our moneys worth. I understand of course if it was a returning customer, but it was her first time and to not even be acknowledged or given a walk through of how the process works doesnt give that professional vibe. read more

I literally had the best experience with Ariee! I found them on instagram and decided to try out brow tint for my first time before spring break! First of all I was in the area about an hour before my appointment and I was like "hmm let me just ask if she's able to take me a bit early" and to my surprise she welcomed me right into her chair with open arms! She was so sweet but let's talk about the work!!! She did a BEAUTIFUL job on my brows, i can't believe i can wipe my eyebrows and they look so good at all times!! She had a super light hand I felt no pain and she assured me that if I didn't like my brows when she was done she could adjust anything to my liking! (Which i didn't need cause they are so perfect!!!). I would 10000% recommend to everyone! Thank you Ariee for accommodating me and making my Saturday morning!! read more

Dani did an incredible job with my eyebrows! She totally nailed the look I wanted. Unlike my usual place, she didn't thin them out. Not only that but she was also very nice and welcoming.
