The lady who did my eyebrow didn't listen. I went with thick-shaped eyebrows left with a thin one-width from the front to where my eyebrows ending Super disappointed I will never get my eyebrows done especially when I told her what I wanted and she still did what she wanted not what I requested!!! While out of town, I decided to get my eyebrows done here. As soon as I walked in, I noticed that there was a line and only two ladies were threading. They don't have a formal list for people waiting. They will say "Next" and trust you're not going to cut in front of others. The woman who did my eyebrows impressed me. She went fast and didn't make me bleed like the others in the past. What did scare me is that her thread broke multiple times while she was threading my eyebrows. It didn't hurt or anything. It would just snap. I had a patch of hairs sprouting on the inside of my eyebrow that I wanted to grow out as they were removed in the past in error. She ended up cleaning it up which bummed me since it took awhile to grow it, but it does look cleaner without them. Overall, I had a good experience here. It's located in the galleria right in front of Macy's mall entrance on the first floor. I like this spot because they're fast and it's convenient. They've always done a great job in my brows. I usually do laser on the rest of the face. So I have not gotten any threading on upper lip or any other place. But I'm sure they're great. I've gone to two different ladies on multiple occasions. Both were great. The place is clean, very modern and again the service is quick. You also save money when you purchase a gift card. I think it's 25 for 30. Or something like that. Ask about it when you go in. It's actually great if you work in or near the mall. Some of the ladies I've seen walked over from Williams tower on their lunch breaks. read more

I have yet to go to the original location; however, the newer second one is located by the orange garage entrance on the 2nd floor. It's not well known so it remains empty. With that said, you're in and out in 5 minutes. The lady is very nice; however, she threads fairly slow and makes the process painful. I might as well tweeze my brows if I'm going to feel each hair ripped from my brow! Haha she is good though and gives a desired final look. The price is fair. I used to frequent a previous location in Tennessee and found the service equally as nice. I used to work in the galleria so going to this place to get my eyebrows was convenient. The ladies that work here take turns with customers so I never had a set person who did my eyebrows. I haven't came to this location in a while but decided to clean up my brows Saturday evening. Since there were no customers, I was immediately sat down in a chair. As soon as I sat, the lady started clipping away at my brows. My eyebrows grow very long and even I find myself trimming them so I didn't think anything of it. She then proceeded to thread my brows. When she was done, she handed me the mirror. I can't describe how ugly my eyebrows were. Turns out, when she was trimming them, she actually cut the TAIL OFF ONE BROW. Oh and the other brow??? She didn't do anything to it! There were still random hairs she didn't bother with and the tail was untouched! Why would she feel the need to chop off my tail on ONE eyebrow is beyond me! Looking at my eyebrows, I get so sad because of how ridiculous they look. Look at my pictures for the proof. If she was going to cut the tail off my eyebrow, she might as well have done it to the other just so they can look somewhat similar! I have never had my eyebrows look like such distant cousins. Been getting my eyebrows threaded here for quite some time now and what I love most about this place is that they know what it means to operate a business. I always show up right before they close at 9 -often times at 8:50 as I'm usually coming straight from the office. A lot of places will usually turn me away, but not here. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded here about twice a month for a year now, specifically by Nisha!! She is excellent. She has never cut me, never made my eyebrows thin, and consistently gives a good shape! Just call ahead to be sure she is working and then get her schedule. (Sadly she is out of town until December 2018.) I'm removing one star because I did try another lady, Sushma, and sadly I left with very red eyebrows for days! They weren't cut but they were bright red spots all over. This has never happened in the past. She was too hard on them, perhaps. Also, the other ladies don't have the best customer service skills. 10/10 DO NOT recommend. She removed the arch and half the tail of my left brow, and then when I showed her, she told me I was wrong. She did not wear a mask during COVID nor did she clean the chair in between customers. She was very rude when I tried to tell her I was very upset and told me to "go somewhere else next time". I've been coming to this location for a few years and just realized that they weren't on yelp. When I first relocated to HTX I struggled to find an eyebrow threading place. I tried a few that left me me pissed off and with thin "check marks" on my face; I gave up on the HTX Brow threading scene and decided to try my hand at Ronald Isley brows until I returned to my hometown for my go to guy. I went to my hometown for a visit to the person that I was forever loyal to (Brow Art 23 threader) with eyebrows that looked like a 70's porn star bush and he advised me that they had a location in HTX and I didn't have to walk around looking like no one loved me. I said Shut the Front door! Sure enough, Browart 23 is located in the Houston Galleria mall on the 1st floor right next to Macy's! Omg! My girl Sunita saves my life and restores me back to a laaddddyyyyy each and every time! She does an amazing job, the first time I ever sat in her chair, she listened to me and I didn't jump out of the chair wanting to scream or choke anyone. I've never left upset or running to get a brow filing kit! No need to draw on Velcro straps for eyebrows! She leaves my brows thick and long (only a clean up) and an arch every once in a while if I'm feeling like it! This chain is the best, the threading reults last for a long time and the threaders are sweet, gentle as can be (the pain will always be there but it's worth it) and most importantly they listen to what you want and do a damn good job to achieve it!!!! Oh there is also a reward card that you can get stamped every time you visit and receive a free brow thread on the 11th visit. I'm always forgetting to get my card stamped but it's avail for those who love freebies!! read more

Extremely dissatisfied. This place ruined my brow shape without consulting me first. They were way too thin, turned out to be uneven and completely misshapen, ruining the work of my previous brow work. I was given someone very junior and it was way more painful than any other threading service I have ever received. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Absolutely terrible!!! I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for about 15 years...they have never looked like this! I went in and asked for just a clean up. She completely messed one of my eyebrows up. All she had to do was clean up the surrounding hairs and not touch the shape. Instead, I have no idea what she did. She not only messed my shape up that I've had for years, she also left surrounding hairs outside of the brow. Whereas before I NEVER had to do anything, now I have to fill them in and shape them because they look so bad. Do NOT go here just for convenience. Make the drive and go somewhere else. Real talk... I'm so traumatized by my experience from today that I'll never get my eyebrows done ever again. After endless months of growing out my brows I knew I wanted enough hair so the person cleaning them up could shape them nicely. There was only one lady working and she had a customer and asked me to be seated. Overall she was friendly and welcoming. However, I told her specifically in VERBATIM "my eyebrows are already thin as is so please don't take off a lot of hair. One eyebrow is thicker than the others so I want to make it even." She replied, "okay okay" if anything I felt like she was insisting I sit in the chair... and it's funny by the time she was done she didn't even wipe off the excess hair that was on my face. Don't people usually do that with standard procedure? I've always gotten my brows done but people do it better in California. This lady sadi or however you spell her name completely ruined my brows. Even my husband said they were hideous.. she left a weird gap in between them.. DO NOT COME HERE!!! This lady is the worse and she shouldn't be doing this line of work. I literally had to fight back tears.. I have naturally thick eyebrows and just needed a few strays to be plucked.... instead I left with one okay eyebrow and another that makes me look interested in idk what. I complained that it was too thin and she rebutted that I didn't have hair on the ends... the problem isn't the ends it's the arch, and I HAD hair there before she ripped it out... She offered to make the other one thinner so they would match but no thank you. I paid the over priced $11 and left. I'll stick with my $5- $7 places that do so much better of a job. I had never been in a brow place before and I was trying to make conversation with her. She didn't say a word so I just let her do her thing. She begins threading and I'm wincing and making noises in pain. Keep in mind, never been in a brow place before. She then has the nerve to say "Stop making noise." Like it was my fault I was unfamiliar to the sensation. She then claims to be finished with me but then I noticed it was choppy on my right eyebrow. I had to stare hard and ask my friends to make sure what I was seeing was correct. As I'm looking she chimes in to say "There's people that are waiting." Well Sunita, if you would have done the eyebrows correctly the first time I wouldn't have to stare so hard. I made her finish giving me a proper threading so I didn't go around looking crazy.
