Natalie did absolutely amazing!…read more I was 10-15 minutes late after she kindly accommodated my schedule and she was still so kind to me and still did an amazing job so for that alone I am so grateful!!! Now let's talk about her work... she did an amazing job! She started without asking me what I wanted but when I asked her what she was doing she did exactly what I wanted anyways AND it was beautiful! This is probably the first time my eyes didn't burn and the quickest full set I ever got! She also reshaped and tinted my eyebrows and that too was amazing. I told her how the last place botched them and she showed me exactly what she would do so that calmed my nerves. I'm so sad I found her and this place right when I'm moving... wish I found her sooner!! I also have to give credit to Cynthia who did everything to accommodate me with my last notice appointment!! Thank you so much!! Thank you, powder room, for such a great experience!!

It wasn't too busy, so I was in the chair immediately. After I was done, I discovered that Nisha was the one who did my brows and oh so beautifully. Everyone I interacted with at the salon was friendly and welcoming upon my arrival, which made me feel more at ease about trying a new location. At just $10 for threading, the quality was great.

In the past, my verbal descriptions and magazine pictures of the haircut I wanted just didn't seem to help. To be fair, some cuts came close, but in most cases, once I washed my hair, I couldn't make it look like the original cut. However, after I get a cut at Salon 212, my haircut falls into place day after day until the next cut. In addition, I get many compliments wherever I go! And, as if all that weren't enough, despite this salon being upscale, the professional and non-professional staff are all extremely down to earth and nice. I can't think of one thing that would improve my experience there. I've never seen anyone walk out of Salon 212 with anything less than spectacular looking hair!

I decided to book here for an upcoming wedding. My experience was okay. My makeup artist was…read moreextremely friendly and in the end I think she did a good job. At the beginning she asked if I wanted lashes, and I agreed. Towards the end of my appointment, she handed me the mirror to check on my makeup. I pointed out a few things, which she fixed and at that point, I was happy. When I went to pay, my artist mentioned to the person at the desk the lashes. And when they stated the price, it was $20 higher than I was originally anticipating per the pricing online. They asked if I wanted a receipt, I said yes to check it but they only handed me the credit card slip. I asked for the itemized receipt and the lashes were an extra $20. At no point did the makeup artist mention the up charge and I was a little taken aback. A friend of mine came in after and I mentioned the lashes to her and she opted out of them. I was frustrated as I literally had lashes in my purse while sitting in the makeup chair. I wish I had the option to pay the extra fee instead of not being warned. I mentioned I didn't get my makeup done often so this wasn't something I was expecting and it wasn't listed on their website that lashes were extra when booking. I was really disappointed as I felt like it was done secretive instead of being open with clients.

Just me. two ladies did my nails the First Lady thought the base for the design was bleach white, I expressed to her I wanted a different color (I was nice about it) she rolled her eyes and scoffed, so rude. Also I asked for a specific color red, she said, "no this color better" The second lady did the designs, it was ugly, instead of following the photo just did random dots, some dots were bigger than others.. Horrible service I have never felt so uncomfortable, also a lot of people were lurking outside, weird.

Background: madre has a neurologic disorder causing some gait instability and needs a wheelchair. The ladies at the salon were so wonderful and happy to help me with walking mom to the pedicure chair, and then to the manicure table....and I had a great time chatting with them in Spanish. The salon itself is spacious and clean....there are numerous nail color options as with any salon. Of course, level of skill varies and you get the better pedicurist or manicurist, etc...but what sets them apart is their kindness (not just to me, but to other patrons I observed as well)...and for that, i'd go back if I'm in NJ again!
