My coworker recommended Bindiya Beauty Salon, as she has been visiting there for countless years. I was looking for a new place for eyebrow threading and she highly suggested I try to have Nisha do them. I stopped in on a Sunday morning, about an hour after they opened. It wasn't too busy, so I was in the chair immediately. After I was done, I discovered that Nisha was the one who did my brows and oh so beautifully. Everyone I interacted with at the salon was friendly and welcoming upon my arrival, which made me feel more at ease about trying a new location. I have been to this spot a few times but this is my first review. This place takes walk-ins which I like. When I arrived I parked in the mini plaza parking lot. I was the first customer and the very nice lady took care of me. She did the threading of my eyebrows and she did her best with talking me through what she was doing. She did a good job. I went to pay with credit card and the price went up a little I'm guessing due to the pandemic. I paid $10 for the threading and left. Good experience all in all. read more

I have been going to Bindiya since i was a teenager. I moved away and came back to the area last year. WAXING HORROR STORY i decided to use them for waxing last visit and to my horror (after the service was done - upper lip waxing and underarm) did i notice that not only did the girl who did my waxing, double dip the wax wand, but she also left the wand she used on me sitting on top of the wac container for the next girl to use. so it's possible that the wand she used on MY FACE and my Armpits was used on someone else. i'll let u imagine what people could be getting waxed. Used to love this place up until my most recent experience. I came here to get my eyebrows done for an engagement party and I had let them grow for a month and half for them to come out nice like I normally do. I've put my trust to these ladies because they always do a beautiful job. I have one lady I always go to and she does a good job... well that wasn't the case for me. She basically chopped half of my brow when I told her please don't make it thin and I would like a shape/ clean up. The lady made my eyebrows completely straight with NO shape. I was left in complete shock. I told her I was upset and unhappy with what she had done to my face. She continued to laugh and smile. RUDE SERVICE. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for the last 10 years. I've been going to the same lady (Krishna) at Payal for the last 6 years and then her schedule changed dramatically and I found myself in a predicament. Krishna is amazing, but unfortunately, I can't say that about the rest of the staff at Payal. After they destroyed my eyebrows SEVERAL times, my sister-in-law suggested I see Nisha at Bindiya. She's a talented person who knows what she is doing and truly consults with you to create you the look you want. Nisha is amazing and I recommend her fully! I am very disappointed from bindiya salon. I did haircut, long layers it did not look like layers at all. my hair look like straight or u shape cut. I don't think that white ols lady even know how to cut hair. n cleanliness is not good either. I highly suggest please if you visiting first time don't go there not worth it at all. waste of time, money, n your hair will destroy too. I only go here to get my eyebrows threaded. Ask for rubi, she does a great job. I have naturally full and dark brows and I usually get them done every 4-5 weeks. I ask for a cleanup and shape and she makes them look perfect every time! read more

Worst place ever for men!!! I went for a simple hair cut to this shop and it has been the worst experience at a salon for me. The guy was in so much of a hurry that he wasn't even interested in hearing what kind of hair cut I wanted, he kept saying 'I Know, I know'. He screwed my hair within 5 minutes and said you're done. I asked him to fix it and he started making faces and finished up so he could get another customer. If you want to experiment with your hair in a negative way go there, they'l do their best to give you a clowny look. Never going back there again. read more

Called them to see if they take credit card and they said they did. Got my eyebrows done and they did a horrible job!! Eyebrows were SWOLLEN by the time I got home because my skin got caught in the thread several times! I went to pay and there was a $10 minimum for card. I wanted to pay tip on the card as well but they got so annoyed when I asked them. It's not that hard adding tip to a card!! They added the tip to the card but only after TRASH TALKING about me to the other women. The funny thing is they didn't think I spoke their language because I don't look Indian but I understood everything they said!! Went home only to realize that they OVERCHARGED me in the first place!! I am wondering how they are in business for so long with such bad service.be careful while you take your kids for haircut. I am not sure if its managed by professionals. Went to get my eyebrows done here, and they completely ruined my brows!!!! Don't go here. Let me be more specific: she created an increased gap, made one eyebrow higher than the other, thinned them out, created different shapes for each and literally took forever actually doing it. The lady who messed up didn't even understand what I was saying!! They have new people working there who don't even understand their customers!!!!!! Don't go here to get your eyebrows done!!!!! Avoid this place if you like hygiene! I walked into this place few days ago. They told me some price for waxing full arms & legs. So, I made an appointment for the same. The waxing room was not clean including the bowl of wax. They used dirty & probably used towels. I ended up with a little bit of rash. The girl who did my waxing was nice though. They charged me more than what they told me few days ago. Plus, they charge extra for using credit cards. Overall, it was not a good experience. It was unhygienic & they trick you into paying more. I was completely satisfied with my eyebrows today. I had gone somewhere else and they made both eyebrows uneven. The lady in the first chair, she explained what our game plan would be to get my eyebrows back to looking similar. They were super quick. At the end, she provided a quick, few seconds, of massage on my eyebrows and temples. Ahhhh. I wish she could have done that longer LOL. I will be going back. read more

I give reviews very rarely, either the service is extremely good that I feel I ought to express my gratitude, or the service is extremely horrible that I need to let other know not to go there. Unfortunately Bindya saloon is the later category. I went there for waxing today, full hands and full Legs. Two ladies started literally pulling my arms and leg without touching me. They applied the wax, put the strip on and started pulling as if they hated every aspect of working in that saloon. I have been waxing for the past 15 years, never ever I have come home so disappointed. It's natural sometimes people don't know what they are doing, it's okay. But at this saloon these ladies did a horrible job and left me with wax all over my body. I had sit clean up wax, like literally there was wax, unremoved hair all over my body. They never cared to ask if everything okay or did we miss some hair. They were in so much haste that they ran after waxing (or partial waxing) my arms and legs. Perhaps this place is good for threading, as I have heard. But waxing nope. A big no. Never going back. I spent $75. I rather spent $100 and go somewhere with better customer service. read more

Never had my eyebrows threaded before. I always waxed in the past. Decided to try this place and glad I did. As soon as I walked in I was taken immediately! Big plus when your spending the day running errands and trying to get things done quickly. As soon I sat down the girl was ready to start, I told her I had never had the threading done before. She wasn't too chatty and didn't explain much but I guess that's why the service is so quick so I was fine with that. Niru did a great job. I have sensitive skin so my eyes were watering the whole time (Niru handed me a tissue lol) but it wasn't that painful, not worse than waxing. At $7, the price was very reasonable. I have found a new place to get my brows done. I now prefer threading over waxing, it is so much cheaper and the results are the same if not better. read more

I went here for the first time to get my eyebrows threaded. I have gotten my eyebrows threaded at many different places before and I know my eyebrows are pretty easy to do. The have a good natural shape and all I need is them to be cleaned up. When I got them done at Bindaya it was the worst they ever looked after threading. I told her to fix it a few times before I left and once I got in the car I realized how bad they looked. I had to spend a good ten minutes when I got home to fix them. They didn't ruin my eyebrows but I definitely will not be going back there again... it was a waste of time. read more

I went to this salon for a facial. The place is very nice, relaxing decor, neat & clean and welcoming by design. The facial I got was pretty average and equally comparable to other desi places I've also been too - it's definitely overpriced $10 more then other salons. However, the staff is less welcoming then the salon itself - they are rough around the edges, impolite, have a look of frown on them and do not treat the customers like respectable people. I was told that threading is included with the facial only to find out at the end that the lady working didn't know what was & was not included and since threading is not included, they would not honor what she had told me at the beginning and make it free. The only reason I gave this place a 3 was because the salon was nice and clean. My service was average compared to other places and I wouldn't go there again due to the attitude of the staff. read more

I always have trouble finding someone good and Consistent with doing my eyebrows exactly how I like them and I finally found someone NIRU at bindiya is absolutely amazing and soo pleasant to talk to ! She always remembers me and treats her clients with such great respect but not only is she a sweet person she is absolutely so talented and I will never go to anyone els for my eyebrows she really makes the arch so high and takes the time to make them perfect !! I went to Payal and the lady was soo rude and told me she couldn't do my arch any higher but when I went to bindiya and asked Niru she told me I already have a naturally high arch and did them perfect ! I have been going to the threading experts at Bindiya for over 10 years. They continue to be attentive to your needs. They usually get the shape that most suits your face right the first time but are open to making a few tweaks if needed. They have recently renovated and the place is nice and bright. Nisha and Nabillah are especially great. They have a new hair stylist who is expert in color and highlight at great prices. Definitely give them a try! read more

I made an appointment and went for facial with another friend. The experience was disappointing. We both walked out slightly irritated, instead of relaxed and happy. The place looked clean and okay to me. But the staff is very rude. It seemed it was a required that they wore frowns at all times on their face. Both me and my friend decided to not go back. You can consider this place for a quick threading, but nothing more. The quality of facial was average. But the worst part is that it was rushed and interrupted. Before she finished, she wanted to know how I will pay and how I'd like to tip her. Threading was apparently included with the facial, but when I asked, the lady said I needed to hurry because she has customers waiting. Not that I wanted to spend anymore time with her. The massage felt like I was in a washing machine, and the cleansing was not thorough, After spending 45 USD, I was told to come back for deep cleansing & removal of whiteheads.
