I checked in for a session and was informed of a 20-minute wait time. Sukhi suggested I either wait or return within that time while she finished with the current customer. I went to a nearby store and returned within 15 minutes. However, when she finished with the current customer, she called the next person in line, who had checked in after me. When I asked about this, Sukhi said that since the other customer was waiting in the store, they would be next, even though they had checked in after me. She claimed this was Brow Arc's policy. Sukhi never mentioned this when she suggested I return within 20 minutes and was rude. Avoid purchasing a package so that you have the flexibility to leave if you encounter such behavior. My past experiences with other brow technicians were good, but it seems Sukhi is the only one available these days. read more

I still trust no one but Suki for my eyebrows! I live in Sacramento and always drive down to get my eyebrows done by her. She's so sweet and thorough. I am extremely picky but she makes my eyebrows flawless every time. I had an older woman do my eyebrows once when Suki wasn't there. I think her name is Mahsti. She made a really rude remark about eyebrows before threading it. She said that whoever did my eyebrows before did a bad job. LOL excuuuse me! Turns out, she's made rude comments to my sister and my mom before when we came in on separate occasions. I've overheard her say rude things about the other ladies who work there too. I've been coming here since they were a booth in the middle of the mall. Suhki, Anjui and there is one older woman I believe is Kaur are all equally amazing. I read some comments about these ladies being rude, but I think people are forgetting that these women work their asses off just like we do and sometimes we can mistake a blank look as a nasty look. Well, I'm here to correct you! These woman are not rude at all. They are hard working women and we need to be more thankful during this pandemic that they are willing to risk their lives and the lives of the people they live with, just so we can get threaded. Staff is friendly, but don't do a good job. Threading took about 2 minutes - WAY too fast, which was clear when I found multiple spots above and below brows that were not threaded - I specifically requested to keep my brows thick, and 3 months later they remain thinned out from my visit. They also widened the space between my brows?!? Instead, go to Novato Threading in Ignacio - cheaper, GREAT customer service, environment, and incredible job well done. read more

My regular brow lady was not there due to her being on vacation but i really needed then done by Wednesday. I asked for a clean up, thick and not thin but she did mine very thin and was very rushed. I'm really disappointed because it was so thin and i can no longer brush them up to fix the thinnest. the price wasnt as bad though. read more

This review is for the facial by Shazy. I have been going to her for facials for about two years or so and recently started taking my teenage son who is experiencing acne. I truly don't know what magic she uses but my skin is clear and glowing. Maybe I should ask more questions but one tool I believe was a sonic tool to help with dead skin and extractions, then a suction tool and a ton of masks and serums. Afterwards she puts the best serum on your face to stay on for the next 8 hours and I swear I'm 10 years younger. Her prices are amazing, and even my shy son loves seeing her. *Please read! This is important!* I was visiting the Bay Area from out of town and my eyebrows were looking awful so I went in to get them done. I have been threading my eyebrows for about five years now and have had perfect skin all my life. I drink loads of water, eat healthy, always take off my makeup, etc. I took so much pride in my completion! The day after they were threaded I saw little bumps around my brows. I shook it off until the second day when they spread through out my whole forehead. Those bumps turned into a full blown case of acne. I looked like I was going through puberty. Zits, bumps, everything all over my forehead and eye brows. I tried over the counter solutions for almost two months and NOTHING got better. Finally, I went to the dermatologist who said she had seen this all the time. I thought I was allergic to the thread they used or something but no, they gave me an infection because the thread was DIRTY. Either caused by poor hygiene on the salon's part or from her SPIT. She said most likely her SPIT WAS IN MY SKIN, causing the horrible breakout. It has taken MONTHS of medication to get it to go away, I still have a few pop ups. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE BE CAREFUL! I called them to complain but they shook me off entirely. read more

Never going back!! They are rude and expensive! I went in to get my upper lip threaded one day and it was $8. I only had $8 in cash and couldn't give a tip so the lady got mad at me and didn't even say goodbye. The next time I went the same lady did my upper lip and charged me $9. Been here 4 times and had Suchi do my threading, she has done an excellent job each time, perfect shape of my eyebrows and no stray hair left. I love the card process as it makes it very cheap. I recommend highly! Update-last time I went Suchi was not there, the woman who did my brows left them uneven and caused a LOT of pain. So I do my own eyebrows now. Lets just say Id rather mess up my eyebrows than pay for painful threading that didnt fix my eyebrows at all. The staff here is extremely rude first of all and very pushy. Horrible horrible horrible customer service EVERY time I have been in here. The last time I was here I paid to get my eyebrows done, was not offered any of the aloe vera gel, and my eyebrows looked exactly like when I had walked in minus one or two hairs. AND it was painful. I came back recently with my male friend. They were extremely rude to him and tried to push me to get my eyebrows done. They also made his eyebrows into two slightly different shapes. Warning - this place has gone from bad to simply horrible - stay away!!! I went in today to get my brows shaped, a process that took less than 5 minutes. I have a membership, and while they're never been great, it's been acceptable - until today! I thought it was odd that the girl when finished instead of offering me a mirror she just bolted away and say "you're done", and since I had a membership the payment had already been handled. When I got to my car and was able to see the finished result I discovered that I barely had any brows left - the left eye brow had a huge gap and then to my horror, half of my right eye brow was gone! When I went back to the shop to ask for a refund I did not even receive a sorry from the girl, but at least her coworker apologized - however this place does not deserve even one star. read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars. This place is absolutely TERRIBLE! Do not go! They ruined my eyebrows..I have had my eyebrows threaded many times before but they have made me terrified to try threading again. I asked the threader to just clean them up. I told her I did not want them too thin. My eyebrows are naturally thick and had a nice shape before being threaded by these unprofessional, shady people. I should have known that something was wrong when the threader refused to hand me a mirror when the threading/ruining was complete. My eyes were too watery to get a good look until I saw my reflection in the window. She over threaded one eyebrow into oblivion and then ruined the other to match. A fellow customer told me that while my eyes were closed the original threader had another threader look at what she had done and they decided to pluck my eyebrows into matching pencil thin lines. I literally left the mall crying. I never in my life have had to fill my eyebrows but am now dependent on the benefit brow kit. My eyebrows will never be the same. I confronted the threader/management about my experience and they were less than apologetic and refused to give me a refund. Not like a refund would have even come close to rectifying what they did to my eyebrows. Avoid!Avoid!Avoid! read more

Went in with my 14-year old daughter who had been there several times with her mom. Had looked into the salon many times while walking by in the mall. They use a string that they maneuver between their mouths and hands to trim your eyebrows. Apparently it's a very old Indian (India in Asia) technique. My daughter went first, and I decided to try it. Had never had anyone trim my eyebrows before, and when I do it I usually mess up, total hack job. Man it hurt, but my eyebrows look great (I think). The lady was quick and efficient, but not very friendly. It only took her about 3 minutes and the cost was $15.00. Not a bad hourly income. read more

Why. Why the hell did I come here. Here is the short reasons why you shouldn't come here: 1. They ONLY care about your money. They do not care about the service they give you at all. 2. They are not certified to do eyebrows!! This was confirmed after going to Macys to have them try and fix what happened to my brows. 3. They are rude and give excuses when you raise a problem. I walked in to find 2 girls lounging and generally being lazy. Neither greeted me or acknowledged me and they fought over whose 'turn' it was to do my eyebrows. Red flag right there...I should have just walked out but no I sit down and this woman took no time to pre-determine the shape before going in with the thread. She ended up free handing the entire thing. At the time I figured they've done this so much before that it may have been easy for her. The process was very fast and when I looked in the mirror afterwards I was seriously about to cry. I told them how there was a spot completely missing and she said 2 things: "oh there was no hair there to begin with!" "you can cover it with makeup" Let me tell you that NO my eyebrow hairs were there before and you messed up and plucked them out. So now my eyebrows are lopsided and I have to wait literal months before they come back in. This business needs to be shut down. Save your money people and go somewhere else. read more

Attempted to go here today to get my eyebrows done ... As I sit in the chair I tell her I'm really particular with my eyebrows as most women are . I asked her if I could show her what I wanted her to remove and what to leave alone. So she says "yea show me "like she really didn't care to know . Well I start showing her and she said well you really don't need to get your eyebrows done you don't have a lot to remove . I said I understand but I wanted to get them cleaned up because it had been 3 weeks since I got them done . She goes on to tell me that I should wait 8-9 more days then get them done because she would only be removing a little bit ... Which that was the idea when I walked in . She goes on to say how she doesn't want to take my money by just removing several strands of hair . By this time we are going back and forth about my eyebrows . Her telling me I don't need them done and me continuing to tell her I wanted them cleaned up . Eventually I got irritated so I told her I'd go to another threading place. If I felt like I didn't need my eyebrows done and wasn't willing to pay I wouldn't of came there to get my eyebrows done ! Very frustrating ! Won't be coming here again read more

Horrible. I started buying these cards that they try to sell you. I went in and the lady wanted to put six times with a very short expiration date. I told her I dont come that often and she said it will be fine we will honor it. Then, she went and butchered my eyebrows so there is no way I could have come back in that time. It took six months just grow the brows back. Today, I went in and the lady said this card is expired and clicked off a box. Then, i gave her an "OLDER" card with no expiration date. She took that one. I am like how can a card from 2011 be ok but the one from 2012 not be ok. Just a scam to get you to buy their cards. Also, they never ask me how i want the brows they just start... There is always room for improvement but generally they have done a good job with my eyebrows. The one day I said nothing about how I wanted my eyebrow was the day I came out looking like a vampire. Lesson learned, be friendly, speak your wants and they will do a fine job. read more
