Between scheduling mix-ups, unanswered questions, and repeatedly having to follow up, arranging catering started feeling like a second job. I was looking for a caterer, not a project manager position. The manager has plenty of experience in the food industry, but there's a difference between knowing how to serve a crowd and knowing how to serve a customer. Generous offers are appreciated, but clear communication and follow-through matter, too. Unfortunately, the booking process took more effort than it should have, so I decided to take my business elsewhere.
