My wife and I got married at Brookview last May, and it was such wonderful experience. We had a shorter engagement period, but still, everyone at Brookview was so accommodating. Everything from the catering, to the gorgeous views, and incredibly kind and helpful staff made our day so magical. The guests I've talked to especially enjoyed the food and beautiful surroundings. The location has lots of pretty olive trees and a gorgeous hilltop for photos (I added one of the shots we got). My wife really enjoyed the brides cottage, and she was very grateful for its size, as we each had 11 person wedding parties. Overall, we had a really special time that day, and had 0 problems with anything at the venue. Everyone working at the venue was so inviting and helpful. It can be so hard to find a great outdoor venue in the LA area that checks all of the boxes (beautiful views, great catering, helpful and friendly staff), but Brookview checked all of those boxes and more.

The little outside play area they have for kids is so cute! When I was walking the grounds, I just felt at peace. There is plenty of seating. When I came by, they were having a class for seniors and a band was rehearsing in the teen lounge. You really get a sense of community here. I learned that they do summer concerts here and I would LOVE to check one of those out! Honestly I wish I knew about this venue when I got married. I definitely would have considered it! Prices seem very fair and they include close to everything (chairs, linens etc). Parking is limited but they have shuttle companies they work with for larger events. Staff was very friendly too! Looking forward to my next visit.

Too bad I can't leave a review less than 1…read more It came to my attention that, after my wife and MINOR children got undressed in their bridal suite that there was a surveillance camera on the wall of the suite. How they could have a camera in there, to this day, without complaints is astonishing to me. I tried to calmly address this issue with the front desk (before coming here) only to be met with absolute absurdity. The lady managing the desk saw no issue with it and said the camera is there to make sure nobody "damages the room", I argued that we don't want damage in changing rooms and bathrooms but we don't put cameras in them... she didn't understand my correlation, and argued that it's of no concern. I didn't take a photo of the camera, but having looked back on the venues photos of past events, you can see the camera on the wall in that suite for years. Why can't it be hidden during events? Why aren't there signs posted that the bridal suite where everyone is changing is being recorded? Who has access and can monitor that footage? Recommendation: hide the camera when people are changing or provide an alternative location for people to change. If you can't provide a safe space for people to undress without recording them maybe don't hold events. Demand: Delete all past footage that this camera has collected immediately.

The poolside bar and restaurant have very good food. We had tacos, chicken tikka bowl and tuna tar-tar. All very good. Such a fun time. Definitely going back soon! The hotel is sooo fun. Beautiful and in a great location. Staff is all really nice. Beds are comfortable and the grounds are gorgeous. Love the fireplace in the suites. There is another pool you can bring kids as well.Fun restaurants close by like Nonna, The Pearl District, Lure, Los Agaves. Good drinks at Crawfords(food not so good) Nice pool area. I do not recommend getting the pizza from room service. It was gross. The Denver omelette was good, (substitute the potato hash brown cakes for something else)and desserts pretty yummy.

We came here because we were going to a wedding. The Christmas decorations were the icing on the cake. The hotel lobby was decorated like a Christmas movie . Amazing . Our room was nice ( didn't get a chance to take pictures) but it was spacious, our view was part of their golf course . The bed was really comfortable . The only thing I can say is I wish the pillows were in the middle of soft and firm , it was making my back hurt so much but I was able to sleep well. Another downfall of our room which I feel they should fix, is the temperature. Couldn't figure out how to turn it on to make the room warm from being in the rain, we had to get the heat from the bathroom to allow it to go through the room. All and all it was a good stay . Thank you for having us stay here . We will be back soon :)

We love the concept but the cost was just too high to justify the time spent here. It's $30 per child and while it's unlimited play, there's not a whole lot to do after the excitement from interactive screens goes away. It is cool to see the screens be tappable. The sand table is very cool as well, it's interactive so if you make a pile it makes a mountain and if you dig a hole, virtual water fills the space. We've never seen anything like it. But the kids spent about 15 minutes at the table and 10 minutes coloring the big wall screen and 10 minutes in the interactive ball pit. They were done with interactive screens after that and they spent the most time in the little play space with a market and salon. In total we spent about 1 hour and 10 minutes here before the kids were ready to go. It was really hot inside so maybe they would have lasted longer if it was cooler. We were sweating when we got outside. I just feel like $60 could have been spent elsewhere for more fun. Glad we went though - it's kind of a one and done experience. (Adults need grip socks not regular socks so we spent money on that as well.) Edit: These were our own kids here not our nephews and we were charged $30/kid despite the sibling discount.

There are so many interactive stations from playing "doctor" or "grocery store," to building full landscapes in the sandpit (complete with interactive features like a volcano!). Everywhere you turn, there's something creative and engaging for kids to explore. We stayed for over two hours, and my daughter still didn't want to leave. She's already asking to go back, and we're definitely making this one of our go-to spots! What makes it even better is that they also have workstations for parents who work from home such a smart idea for when you need a little break while your child is entertained in a safe, stimulating environment. The owner was incredibly welcoming, giving us a tour and explaining all the unique interactive experiences. It's rare to find a place that feels this thoughtful and intentional. I would 100% recommend Reign and Shine Play Lab 10/10! Truly a unique experience that every parent and child should check out.

Joe and the entire entertainment team and staff were attentive and made the night a success. DJ Snupi was such a hit with all of the kids and adults alike at the party. The entire entertainment team did a great job keeping the party going. We didn't order food there but the venue allows you to cater with any company that has insurance. I thought it was great that we weren't limited to catering options offered by the venue. Our event was about 140 people. Also, trust Joe and Lisa and their recs. We initially didn't get the patio but after talking to them about the party the recommended. So glad we decided to listen to them and get the patio. Pros: easy to find, plenty of parking, the venue itself it decorated so even if you have minimal decor it still looks great. Great staff. Close to the freeways for out of town guests. The venue is close to hotels. Attentive staff: Cons: honestly the only one I could think of was that the floor was freshly waxed so it was a little slippery at the entrance.

From the moment we signed the contract, Joe the owner made me feel like there was nothing to worry about. On the day of the event, when we arrived an hour early, everything was already perfectly set up. Gloria who handled the balloon decor was incredible, Moti the chef served delicious food, and the DJ was truly professional and kept the energy up all night. Even the security guard was extremely kind and personally walked each child out to their parents' car at the end of the event. They have an outstanding team and if I could give 10 stars, I would. Highly recommended and Joe, see you at the next event.
