    My partner and I got married at Maravilla Gardens this past July, and it was a stunning venue and experience. We were told by many friends and family that this was one of the top weddings they had attended, and that the venue was breathtaking. We attended the Camarillo Wedding Expo and saw the views of the cocktail hour and dance floor during sunset, and were convinced! The flow and layout of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception areas were a highlight for us. Maravilla Gardens' team uses a software called Basecamp, which makes planning organized and straightforward, and integrates with one's email as well. There were several open houses and dinners at the venue where we could attend and enjoy as if we were guests, which was great in helping us achieve our wedding vision. The venue comes with a variety of decorations, and you can personalize them as you like, which is excellent for any aesthetic you're picturing, as you can tailor it to your taste and preferences (we went for a wildflower theme with The English Garden in Westlake). Maravilla Gardens includes a day-of coordinator, as well as planning support in the several months leading up to the wedding. Our wedding coordinator was Mel, and we can't thank her enough. Mel did an excellent job of answering all our questions, and throughout the day, she took care of everything. I felt calm and collected as she stepped in and led with grace. My husband and I were able to enjoy every part of the wedding because she was handling all the logistical details. I truly danced almost the whole entirety of the wedding because I knew the venue, Mel, and my vendors had it covered! To me, that was invaluable! Some other reflections from our experience: -Glam Studio for getting ready was excellent and so convenient, it's a good idea to get catering. -Command Performance Catering and Brick and Brass Bartending were phenomenal! We got many compliments on the food -Views, ambience, and general atmosphere felt intimate for our out-of-town families and friends -There was even a bonus cat that visited us the morning of (we love cats)! -The venue put lovebirds in the cage as guests arrived which was very cute -Having an earlier ceremony time (4:30) in early July meant that those in my bridal party on the left were toasted by the sun during the ceremony, the groom's side was fine (or right side of the stage is in the shade). -Extending time to a later hour also means one has to pay several vendors extra for additional coverage; it is not a one-time flat fee. -When moved to the getting-ready trailer, the room was a bit small and stuffy, but we weren't in there for too long Overall, our wedding was even better than we could have imagined, and we thank our venue, Maravilla Gardens, for that!

    Wonderful location to have your event. Both the wedding and the reception were here. Absolutely beautiful. The only suggestion I would make is to get an actual dance floor. But they might be keeping what they currently have to keep the entire theme fluid. The dressing rooms and restrooms are good and easy to access. There is lots of room and the view is wonderful.

    My wedding was on April 16, 2022 and I want to give a big thank you to the Maravilla Gardens team and command performance for the excellent food. They are the most organized people I have ever worked with. Erin was assigned as my wedding coordinator and she did a fantastic job. I loved her energy and she's super sweet too. All my guest enjoyed the venue and kept saying how beautiful everything was and the food was so delicious! They use a website called base camp which was not hard to use but can be annoying because you can't use your phone. You must use a computer to view everything. You have to use all the vendors from the list they provide which makes it easier. The only down fall is the wedding ending at 10:50pm due to the noise ordinance being only till 11pm and I wish it could've at least ended at midnight because you barely have time to enjoy with your guest, also since our wedding was in April, we had to get 11 heaters because it gets really cold at night which was an extra $900, but I would definitely pick this venue again just in June or July.

    I wish there were more stars to give. My husband Chris and I were married here on 8.14.21. This venue has the entire wedding process seamlessly designed. When we were first touring the venue we bumped into Melissa, a coordinator at the venue who we also hired as a wedding planner. BEST DECISION EVER! I love the intimacy of this venue, the local vendors all know each other and work together so well. You know you have the most beautiful venue when the majority of your friends and family still have pictures from your wedding as their profile pictures on social media! Haha. Our original wedding date was 8.15.20, but then, Covid happened. God bless Melissa who not only was already dealing with the most indecisive bride on the planet, then had to cancel the wedding and then reschedule to a date that just so happened to be when "delta- Covid" camabout. I was an anxiety ridden mess, but Melissa and Maravilla were like God sent angels who hosted the most magical night of our lives where we completely forgot about all the chaos going on in the world. Melissa was available for every text, call, and on the day she would constantly find us after we kept sneaking off she would pop up and be like "time for ..." and we would laugh because she always knew where we were. Our guest were so impressed with our wedding and talk about it til this day. If anyone is considering this venue or having Melissa as a coordinator or wedding planner, this is your sign, sign the paper, there's no better venue.     As wedding photographers for the past 12 years, We have been to a lot of wedding venues. A lot of gorgeous wonderful venues we absolutely love....And yet still, year after year, Maravilla is number one in our books. We love the team, command performance catering is always insanely delicious, the light is unreal, and they keep those grounds immaculate. Our Maravilla couples are always the most stress-free because they are in great hands and you feel it in the photos. I would recommend this venue all day every day. Jen and the whole team rock!

    We just had our wedding at Maravilla Gardens and it was one of the most beautiful, magical, wonderful experiences of my LIFE. The venue itself is just so unique and beautiful. The planning team, Jenn, Mel, Keith, Robert, Gidget etc are just masters at wedding planning and so the entire process was so easy and helpful. All of our guests loved the California feel to the venue and how unique it was. Maravilla constantly updates their own rentals, decor and services so it's always building. We also rented the day of getting ready house which was a life saver and saved me so much stress and worry about transportation. Mel is a dream come true month of coordinator and was very responsive and professional. We were so happy to have met her. Jenn was with his most of the earlier planning process and her and Gidget helped with all of the set up to throw it over the Mel. Keith and Robert for Command Performance Catering were amazing and so informative and helpful when building our wedding menu. We had multiple guests asking if the catering had a restaurant as well! Everyone absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere, the venue and everything that made our day as unique and magical as I could have ever imagined.

    This is a belated review for Maravilla Gardens, but even a year later, we could not be more happy that we chose MG as our wedding venue! When we first visited Maravilla Gardens, we fell in love with the beautiful outdoor garden set up and the romantic, quaint feel to the venue. My husband and I both had busy schedules leading up to the wedding and were also planning the wedding long-distance. Jen was so experienced and amazing to help coordinate what we needed leading up to the big day. MG and Jen made it so easy to keep us on track! We also couldn't be more happy with Erin, our day-of-coordinator, who was also incredibly experienced and made us feel so much more calm on the big day despite having a large wedding party with many wedding guests. Although we got married in May, the completely unexpected happened and we ended up having rain on the day of! This was something that was only a lower possibility in the forecast in the days leading up to the wedding, so we didn't want to change plans to arrange for a tent. I was hopeful that it wouldn't rain because the morning was still looking OK, but the rain began to hit during the cocktail hour. Thankfully, MG was completely prepared and brought out numerous umbrellas for our guests to use. As we were running behind with all this (and my bustle was taking much longer than expected!), Jen and Erin completely revamped the schedule of our night so that we could get back on track. Even though I knew our timeline was changing, my guests had nothing but the most positive things to say about MG and said that they couldn't even tell as everything seemed to move along so smoothly. Additionally, their team was so helpful throughout the day - we had brought a lot of our own extra decorations and they helped set it up, clean it up, and pack everything for us to pick up the next day. I felt so reassured that I didn't have to worry about those extra details and they really helped make the process go smoothly for us and our families. Thanks to Jen and Erin and the MG team, our day still went beautifully despite the unexpected surprise!

    We had our wedding here on June 17th 2022 and let me tell you, it was the best night of my life. To begin with, We started talking with Jen in 2020. Due to covid, we wanted to push our wedding date back and she was so flexible and easy to work with during those rough times. Between those two years, she was so accommodating to us. Even when we wanted to stop by the venue to show family, she never has a problem with that. Jen and Rob, (who also works there) are amazing people and really care about the venue. Mel-the day of wedding coordinator is just as amazing. She is so organized and easy to reach, she made sure everything was prepared and ready to go for the big day. The day of the wedding, she made sure everything stayed on time, always checked in, and kept the flow of the wedding running beautifully. I honestly can't say enough about her. My fiancé and I truly appreciate her help. The day of the wedding, everything went very smoothly. The team there really works hard. From catering to security, every single person was just so pleasant. Our family and friends have been raving about the wedding this whole weekend. Thank you Maravilla Gardens for everything!! In addition, Keith Erickson was our DJ and he was awesome! Kept the crowd dancing the whole night! We love you Keith!

    I had the pleasure of Dj'ing a wedding on Sunday May 21st, 2018 at Maravilla Gardens. It was my first time at this venue. Since the beginning, Jen and Erin (Manager and Planner) were very responsive with emails and information. I was already pleased with the communication. Then I set foot on the property, and I was very surprised... this venue is GORGEOUS. They have three separate but adjacent spaces, Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Dinner/Dancing. All three spaces are designed well, beautiful backdrops in all three. The details from the planner and the hospitality from the manager on the day of the wedding are worth mentioning. They were impeccable. This is a hidden gem in my opinion. I would recommend this venue to anyone. I hope to work there again soon.

We were served our alcoholic beverages, champagne, and food, all within a reasonable timeframe. I wasn't sure whether or not I should be thanking the caterer for this, or the wedding coordinator. Even the restrooms were nice and clean. The bride and groom rented these miniature cows to come and hang with us for part of the reception. I thought that was a really nice touch. There was plenty of parking, but the only thing is you have to drive quite a bit to find this place- it's a hidden behind another type of farmer's market/pumpkin patch farm in the front.

The parking area floor is mixed grass and gravel, so lady's beware to wear proper shoes, so your heels don't sink into the grassy areas. ;) There are only 4 handicap parking spaces. Overall, the venue was pretty. Beautiful outdoor wedding venue-especially at night.

They have a huge barn area (string lights included) along with a nice green grass area shaded by two possibly 300 years old Oak trees. Perfect spot for the ceremony. This venue is cool because you can do literally whatever you want with how you want to set it up. You can get really creative with it. The owners were incredibly helpful and accommodating to all of our questions. They offered advice and recommendations of vendors in the area. We are so excited to have the wedding at this location!! (Also there is a horse and some long horns on the property for all you animal lovers)
