I attend events often. I recently attended Dia de Los Muertos and really enjoyed it. We were there for over 3.5 hours. I have also attended concerts, weddings and different events. Can't wait to see this place built up again! I will continue to attend as many events as I can! Excited for what this center can become for all of us.

Security was a joke. 1 guy on each end next to the pit looking at their phone or just standing there with folded arms. The venue was at best 1/4 filled, so it wasn't like there was a massive crowd to deal with. It got so crowded in the pit because everyone was leaving their seats and coming forward. It started to get confrontational. About 20 minutes into the headliners set, we went back 15 rows and watched the show. Hey A-holes who run this place, if you are going to have pit seats, then have your Security clear the aisles every 10 minutes to get people back to their seats. This is how professional venues operate to respect the ticketholders. But not this place, no need to pay for a front row seat. If you ever have the misfortune of going to this place, buy tix in the back row and help yourself to any seat in the place. Have been going to shows for over 40 years and this place was one of the worst ever. I want my money back!!!!

To the cooks working hard ALL through out the whole time, before and after, I know- to get ALL that delicious food they got out - just VIP service ALL AROUND. I can't say enough how grateful we are to the Oxnard Knights of Columbus Family. Thank you for the red carpet treatment for Uncle Freddy and his family - we certainly felt the love. I know he would be so proud, as he always spoke so highly of his Wednesday night poker gang. Rightly so!! We look forward to more events there in the future, knowing you how put 110% into any event you host- you are our "go-to" from here on out. Thank you From the MARTINEZ FAMILY.

Ed left me scrambling to find an alternate place to host my daughter's quinceanera later this year…read more( 2025) Both my mother and I attended a walkthrough and were given a quote that was manageable and when I returned with the deposit Ed added an extra $ 4,000.00. The OLD BAIT AND SWITCH . He never mentioned that we weren't able to take our own food and that I had to have catering service provided by them. I was disappointed but remained calm because my daughter was there. He said " don't worry, we'll figure this out" I'll followed up on Tuesday. He also went on an unnecessary rant that Knights of Columbus has a half a million dollar lawsuit going on in addition to being fined by the County of Ventura which is none of my concern and something that shouldhave been disclosed during the initial meet. It is unfortunate that being a fraternal organization who's reputation is about integrity and community service I disappointed that this experience did not align with those values. This morning, during my conversation with Ed,he tried to gaslight me saying he is honoring the initial price BUT...I stopped him and asked him to them explain why I was never quoted a price for their Menu, of course he didn't know what to say and I asked him to at the very least acknowledge that and all he said is Im waiting for you to stop talking so I can hang up. I spoke to some friends about what had occured and I was surprised to hear a few stories about their unethical behaviour. I wouldn't recommentthis organization because they clearly aren't transparent, breached my trust, unethical behaviour and attempting to gaslight me by telling me he WAS honoring the intitial price even though the final price was SIGNIFICANTLY higher. They clearly do not practice what they preach.

The limited hours of 9 to 12 on Saturday mornings hasn't worked for us in conjunction with other plans on the Oxnard Plain. I was glad to see that they were participating in Ventura County Farm Day, and staying open later than usual. We made it one of the definite stops we planned for the Farm Day activities. It was not what I expected. Good surprise! First, it's tucked into a neighborhood with green belts and a park, which gives a more spacious feeling than I was imagining. It's also not near any other farmland. What they do have is a number of vintage buildings, several plots where they're growing crops, some farm machinery, and more. There's a lot to take in visually. On Farm Day there was an added bonus that a gentleman was operating an old printing press, then giving away the bookmarks he made. They were literally "hot off the presses". He had a wry sense of humor, and it was fun visiting with him. We weren't able to pick up a stamp for the Passport 2 History program, as we never found the rep for the property. We were greeted by volunteers for the SEEAG group, the organization promoting Farm Day. Guess we'll have to go back to enjoy the surroundings one Saturday morning. I recommend this venue for families with kids, as there's lots to see, interesting backdrops for photos, and opportunities to talk about where food comes from, besides Ralph's!
