How can a hotel in 2026 not have fans in the bathrooms??? Anyway, breakfast was above average - otherwise this would have been one star.

We booked over a year out and mentioned that we would be getting married that weekend and our entire wedding party were going to be staying there as well. We had issues from day one, my husband and I got to our room and noticed the bed had a visually noticeable dip on one side. When we laid on the bed it was lumpy and the springs of the mattress were no longer functioning properly. We called down to the front to ask for a different room or a different mattress. The woman running the front was very lovely and apologetic and told us that she would talk to the manager about what our next steps would be. The manager gave us two options 1. To cancel our reservation the night before our wedding 2. Suck it up and stay and sleep on a broken mattress and they would take $75 off our bill. Neither of these options seemed acceptable as this was the night before our wedding, so the front desk woman got creative and had us change rooms every night as the hotel was completely booked the entire weekend, but had guests that didn't stay the entire weekend. We are very grateful for the front desk staff as they were lovely. Next one of the groomsmen booked a double queen bed room for himself and another groomsmen, when they got to their room they discovered that they received a single king room. The hotel had no desire to fix their mistake, and our wedding party had to make it work amongst ourselves. Overall not worth the money, the rooms are mid at best. Some even had burn marks in the carpet. The elevator appears to be on its last leg.

We were so uncomfortable that we decided not to stay, even though it meant driving 2 hours back home, returning the next day for an event, and driving another 2 hours again. We arrived 30 minutes before check-in because it was our first time in town, and we wanted to ensure everything went smoothly. As soon as I walked in, I honestly thought I was at the wrong place. The owner greeted me with a curt "Can I help you?"--as if she wasn't expecting us. I had to ask if I was in the right place, and she just shrugged. She immediately complained that we were early, asking, "Who are you?" and "Have you paid for the pet fee?"--all in a passive-aggressive tone. She told my husband to park "over there, by the pool," but her directions were so unclear that after asking three times, he parked where he thought she meant--only for her to snap that it was her husband's spot. When we saw our room, we were shocked to learn we had to share a bathroom with another guest--something not mentioned in the listing. Our only private area was a tiny bedroom. On top of that, we were hit with endless rules: We could only let our dog outside when her dogs weren't there, using a confusing "light signal" system. Shoes had to be removed at all times. Our dog's food and water had to stay outside. We had to be mindful of her 2-year-old child. The woman we were sharing the bathroom with was apparently afraid of dogs--why stay in a so-called "pet-friendly" place then? To make matters worse, the property is right next to a busy road with no sidewalk--unsafe and stressful for walking a dog. Finally, the bed was disgusting: the sheets were covered in pet hair, and we even found an ear pain medicine packet under the covers--proof they hadn't been washed. That was the last straw. We packed up and left. When I told the owner we weren't staying, she coldly replied, "OK, cool!" When I mentioned the dirty sheets, she just repeated that it was "weird" because they pay someone to clean, without apologizing or offering to change them. I also told her she should disclose the shared bathroom, and she dismissed me with, "That's a B&B thing"--which is false. After reading reviews, I noticed she often claims not to "recognize" guests who leave bad reviews but has no trouble remembering all the 5-star reviewers. Honestly, I don't know how this place gets any good ratings. Believe me--do NOT stay here.

The Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and the pool was great. Unfortunately the smell in the Hotel is very strong. The lobby and halls smell of heavy cleaning products and when we got to our room it was even stronger. There was also an underlying unpleasant smell of possibly smoke even though it was a non smoking room. The overall appearance of the hotel and rooms is very dated. I would hope a remodel is in the near future. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Many delicious options. We will use them again next year but hope some of the smell issues get worked out.

My son found a half empty coke bottle and my daughter found another guest's underwear. Sink had grime in it. Obviously the room was not cleaned properly. What actually happened was I checked in and dropped off my stuff and left for the day. Upon returning, I kept finding one thing after another and no longer felt comfortable staying with my 3 kids. I immediately left. Worst place to stay. Stay far away from here. Especially if you have kids

On the night of the Bomb Cyclone 2024, we thought we could make the drive to Lake Wenatchee from the SeaTac. Airport but traffic was horrible and the inclement weather was not permitting! According to the Washington Department of Transportation webcam, our future drive thru Steven's Pass was a complete white out with 80 mph winds. While driving, we could hear the wind howling and discovered that a few trees were knocked over, we ran over two of them with our Dodge RAM. It was also getting dark ....so it was in our best interest to turn around or keep going and possibly get stranded or DIE. We ended up turning around in Skykomish and drove to Monroe. We stayed in the ONLY room available in the nastiest hotel I've ever stayed in! Since all rooms were booked nearby and we were brain dead, this was our only option. The weather was only getting worse and we were exhausted, it was in our best interest to STOP driving! We stayed upstairs in room 202. Upon entering, my eyes immediately started watering, our room had the most putrid overwhelming smell. It was HORRIBLE! It literally smelled like baby diarrhea combined with the most unbearable floral potpourri. Both smells were equally bad. Aside from this, the carpet was super stained, the fire alarm was ripped out of the ceiling and the underside of the mattress was covered in what was once a puddle of blood and the bathroom door had holes where it was punched and kicked thru. In fact, even our front door looked like it had been kicked in at some point from the repair work done around the door knob. For all we know, that weird pungent diarrhea smell was the smell of the substantial amount of blood on the underside of our mattress (which I should also mention is a major BIOHAZARD that must break a number of health code violations). It's also possible that the gross floral smell x 10000 was obviously an attempt to cover up that smell. Every now and then my bf would start coughing and gagging bc the room smelled so gnarly. I literally could not even breathe thru my nose after an hour (which was a GOOD thing!) bc the potpourri smell was super toxic and full of chemicals! Also, we were awakened at 3am since our dog stood up and growled bc someone was looming in front of our door for 2-4 minutes! Pretty sure the fire alarm was ripped out from meth smoking. When my bf went to return our room key in the morning, he mentioned everyone in the joint looked like a character that hung out in the Crystal Palace in Breaking Bad. He said that a few of them were slamming coffee and hoarding bagels from the continental breakfast. Honestly, that was also not that big of a deal compared to the horror scene that was our mattress and the STANK of our room. I felt like our entire experience could have been a segment from the Hotel Season of American Horror Story. Unfortunately, I am not exaggerating ANYTHING.

There was no one there to greet us and looked like that they were still getting the dining room ready. The hostess did not come out until five minutes before seating time. I was kind of disappointed since this was supposed to be a special Easter brunch, but there was nothing to indicate that this was for Easter other than a few of the desserts. No Easter bunny, there are a couple Easter egg decorations on every table, but that was about it. Still, the ambience was good, a fancy brunch at a fancy hotel. The wait staff provided excellent service. The food was provided in a pretty good spread. The prime rib and the fresh oysters were probably the standout of the food. I don't know why they only have one person with two tiny hot plates to man the made to order station there for everyone. The family did like the desserts, they were very cute. My wife thought that they were too sweet, but that just means I like them a lot. All in all, it was a good brunch to experience once for a special occasion. No huge complaints here.
