My family and I bought tickets to the Willows Lodge special Easter brunch. We showed up 15 minutes early and I kind of think they're not too used to doing this. There was no one there to greet us and looked like that they were still getting the dining room ready. The hostess did not come out until five minutes before seating time. I was kind of disappointed since this was supposed to be a special Easter brunch, but there was nothing to indicate that this was for Easter other than a few of the desserts. No Easter bunny, there are a couple Easter egg decorations on every table, but that was about it. Still, the ambience was good, a fancy brunch at a fancy hotel. The wait staff provided excellent service. The food was provided in a pretty good spread. The prime rib and the fresh oysters were probably the standout of the food. I don't know why they only have one person with two tiny hot plates to man the made to order station there for everyone. The family did like the desserts, they were very cute. My wife thought that they were too sweet, but that just means I like them a lot. All in all, it was a good brunch to experience once for a special occasion. No huge complaints here.
We had a lovely stay here this week and really enjoyed the property and trails around it. I like the elliptical and star climber in the gym. The staff is really sweet and accommodating! Our room was beautiful and we had a great view. It's definitely rustic elegance.
Cane and stayed here recently for a company retreat. The lodge and grounds themselves are stunning and very picturesque. I didn't get to try the spa but almost didn't need to with the massive, in-room jacuzzi tubs. The catered breakfast and lunch meals were delicious and the staff was very hospitable and accommodating. It's a nice walk to the shops and restaurants right down the street if you want to venture beyond the two on-premises options. Oh and make sure to check out the gardens and stop by and say hi to the pigs onsite!
Amazing place for a staycation. I wanted to get away for a night and have a solo bacchanalia, and Willows Lodge was perfect. I had fries and rose in the fireside lounge, I had champagne and Fran's chocolates in the bathtub in my room, and I had barking frog room service for breakfast. The bed was comfy, I could watch TV from the bath, the room was spacious. Will definitely come here again and use the spa facilities.

We were placed in a room right above the check-in lobby so we hear everything. I had a huge equipment truck idle right in front of our room for 20 mins, rocking our room. A second pulled up so we've been staring at 2 trucks for over an hour. We hear every car that stops for valet as they lock the door, every conversation as people leave the lobby, and we have a view of the...parking lot. Beyond that, service has been underwhelming. We came here from San Diego to celebrate my wife's 40th, I really wish it were a better experience.
Willows Lodge is one of my favorite escapes. I've stayed here twice--once for a romantic getaway and once for a work retreat--and both experiences were incredible. The staff is amazing, the rooms are cozy and luxurious, and relaxing by the fire pit with cocktails is a perfect way to unwind. One of the best parts is being able to walk across the parking lot to The Herbfarm for an unforgettable farm-to-table dinner. Highly recommend for both relaxation and inspiration.
I was so happy to get out of the summer heat and to head to Woodinville for a quick weekend. The trees were changing colors, the weather was perfect, there is a beautiful lavender field across from Willows Lodge, and of course so many wine tastings to get to. The entrance to the hotel is right by a large beautiful 1,500 year old Cedar Snag. Great photo spot! The valet was kind enough to take our photo. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the doors by the front desk staff. As we checked in we were offered a glass of wine- yes please! They also keep water, fruit and coffee in the lobby at all times. We were checking in early, but they had our room ready just as we were finishing our wine. The room! I love this place because it is not overdone, but it is beautifully done. Our room had a fireplace, a very comfy bed, a Nespresso, a gorgeous shower with electronic heat controls, a jacuzzi tub, and plenty of space. They offer Molton Brown products in the room, along with a luxurious robe and slippers, so even if you don't get to the spa- yes they have one- you feel like you did. Our stay was perfect. We ordered room service and we ate at one of the restaurants. Both meals were delightful. They really have one of the best room service menus. Breakfast was so memorable. The cozy lobby with its warm wood and fireplace is a gathering spot, but they also have numerous areas outside to relax. They offer free bikes to guests. We rode the trail into Redmond which was about 10 miles there and back. All of this makes it a perfect spot for weddings. There were a couple while we were there, but that did not disturb our stay at all. This is one of the nicest hotels in the area and its location to restaurants and wine makes for a great stay. Send me back- please!
What a lovely experience. The staff are incredibly kind, the two restaurants inside the lodge have a beautiful ambiance and the rooms are beyond luxurious. If you choose to stay in a room, you will find so many cozy amenities as well as thoughtful design including the origins of reclaimed items or the digital shower control for the precise temperature you like. Plus, as a guest of the lodge, you will have access to the incredible, outdoor hot tub and shower embedded in a large rock. The only amenity I was not super impressed with was the spa. It did not feel like a luxurious experience and the massage therapist kept trying to upsell me on things that normally come with a massage like essential oils. All in all, I highly recommend staying at the lodge and walking to the incredible, surrounding wineries.
Been a big fan of the Fireside lounge for years! Good atmosphere, casual, great service, accommodating, full menu, live music, indoor/outdoor seating Pros- - great location, centrally located in wine country - indoor seating is plentiful and lovely outdoor seating when weather permits - love the live music - friendly staff , Matt took care of us tonight- so personable and attentive - full menu accommodates all- love their truffle fries and flatbreads. I'm a picker (not a entree lover) so the smaller portions are convenient and shareable. - absolutely love their Caesar salad!! Cons - it can be pricey but I don't mind considering the good service, drink options and tasty shareable plates - their dips look delicious I'd love to have the option of ordering veggies on the side instead of pita or breads.
My partner and I were looking for a weekend getaway where we could also bring along our pup. We were really happy to discover willows lodge, they made us and our pup feel very special. We were able to check in early. We were greeted with some red wine and our pup with some treats at the reception. They had a good selection of energy bars, fruits, tea,coffee and infused water in the lobby. Our room was spacious and had a little bed, water bowls, treat and doggie room service menu. Our pup loved the chicken and rice we ordered from the doggie room service menu. They have a good restaurant - barking frog where we had breakfast. They are within walking distance to many wineries like chateau st Michelle and DeLille cellars. Woodinville whiskey is also really close by. It was the perfect location for our woodinville vacation.
This hotel might be the best one I've ever stayed at. It had a cozy lodge feel, but everything was beautifully maintained, clean and well decorated. Plus, the amenities were top notch. I was only there for a night and wasn't able to try the food... but everything else was pretty perfect.
What an amazing place to enjoy the fireplace, big windows, and delicious food! Service is great and the ambiance is warm and inviting. When asked where she wanted to go for a birthday meal my friend was adamant we go to Willow's Lodge and so we went! I was only disappointed that the server didn't acknowledge my friend's birthday (she opened gifts and everything between dishes being served). Seating indoors here is limited and they have a happy hour that is available for the first hour when they open. I'm looking forward to the outdoor patio being a viable option when the weather warms up! The brussels sprouts and butternut squash dish was probably my favorite next to the savory and delicious pumpkin bisque. The Kale Caesar was very good and filling for a salad and the artichoke dip was baked to perfection. I look forward to future dining here.
Amazing in a word! Located in Woodinville WA This gem is the find of our son and daughter in law, very inviting friendly staff. Our son and daughter-in-law booked Willow's for their wedding reception which was amazing, the grounds set in a garden setting with baby animals very tasteful. The food was amazing, hors d ' oeuvres simply delicious. Spa tubs fireplaces patios custom walk-in showers make the rooms comfortable and very cozy. Don't forget to check out the Barking Frog on site restaurant! Exceptional breakfast lunch or dinner.

The most magical place My partner treated me to a night here for my birthday and we completely fell in love, so much so that we're getting married here next summer The rooms are stunning, the grounds/gardens are gorgeous for a wander, and you're right in the heart of Woodinville's wineries, so strolling between tastings is easy and dreamy There are also great restaurants nearby, so you never have to go far. We were hoping to book a spa package for our stay, but it wasn't available that day, which was a real bummer It just gives us an excuse to go back! A little pricey, but well worth it for the serenity and atmosphere. Truly the most perfect spot read more
This place was amazing!! And it was in walking distance of a lavender field and a ton of wineries!! I'd definitely go back. Upon checking in everyone gets a welcome glass of wine, white, red or rose. I love that small touch, especially because they're centered in WA wine country. The room was huge, included a soaking tub and separate shower area. We had a working fire place and a gorgeous balcony where a humming bird greeted me in the morning. I felt like a Disney princess baby! The grounds are gorgeous and there are a ton of spaces to rest, sit, explore, sit among wild flowers and fountains. I read a book in the warm sun, feet up on a bench among wild flowers. I also enjoyed the restaurant in premise and had a long luxurious soak in the hot tub. I loved the plush robes in the rooms and you can customize your shower experience by adjusting the temperature yourself. I loved every bit of my overnight stay with my 2 besties. We split one night and paid about $115 bucks each which made the room about $345 give or take. We had 2 comfy beds in the room and plenty of space! I had a fabulous time and loved that we were able to winery/vineyard and restaurant hop in close proximity of our lodge! read more

Great resort!! Can self-park or valet. Grounds are very well maintained and gorgeous! Across the road from a lavender field and sunflower field. Plenty of wineries in the area and districts to explore! Resort is well maintained and recently renovated. When you walk in you get a complementary glass of wine. They will provide you water bottles for the length of your stay. They provide you a map of the grounds and a key for your room. They have a thermal pool available for all guests and a sauna by the Japanese gardens. Rooms are large, very clean, come with a fireplace and open air bath. Outdoor patio is spacious and private with views of the surrounding garden and private walk ways. Service is great! Everyone is very professional and quick. I've greatly enjoyed my stay and cannot recommend it enough. Will be back. read more

From the desk of Flopsie the Corgi: I'd certainly come back because I'm a dog and they know how to treat me well. As soon as the human pulled the car to the hotel, Mr. Valet already said Im a good dog. The nice valet petted my head when they took care of mom's car. The bell staff petted my head too. At check in, the lobby staff gave momma a glass of wine, and gave me cookies. Yeah. Hook it up!!! At happy hour, mom got a good deal at the lodge. I got a water bowl and was comfortably seated in a cool spot. My room amenities included bowls, treats, poop bags, and bed. Outside the room, there were plenty of poop stations. There were also towels and treats for doggies by the side doors to wipe down our paws. So yeah, I'm coming back. read more
The bar at Willows Lodge does a lovely job of serving yummy food put together from The Barking Frog, across the way. Always with an inviting atmosphere, the bar has a fun menu and great cocktails. I do wish they had a more extensive Northwest wine menu, but you can ask for the Barking Frog wine list (do!) and have a much better selection. We always enjoy evenings here! read more

Stayed here for our 19th anniversary. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of wine at checkin. The room was spacious with an electric fireplace, soaking tub, and shower with digital temperature adjuster. In the morning we took the complimentary bikes on the Sammamish trail to downtown woodinville. Back at the hotel The outside garden was a delight to explore. Especially the outside gazebos where we got takeout and had a picnic before heading to the outdoor soaking tub. Willow lodge is a destination in itself. It's easy to forget all the amazing wineries and attractions surrounding it! read more
While I don't drink wine although others in my group did there's a lot of good to say about the Fireside Lounge and the food and other drinks they serve here as well as the awesome outside patio seating! Be sure to get in on the "Happier Hour" from 3-5:30pm too where drinks and some food are discounted. We started off with the Bacon Popcorn layered with apple wood smoked bacon, caramel, and candied peanuts that gave off a finer tasting Cracker Jack vibe. Our fav starter was the Cilantro Lime Lettuce Cups and we ours with shrimp (you can also get chicken) with romaine cups, tajín tortilla strips, and mango chutney. Of the four main dishes we had we enjoyed the Double Smash Burger with american cheese, spicy mayo, romaine, grilled onions, house pickles, potato bun, and fresh cut fries and the Steak Fritesmade with locally raised prime flat iron steak, chimichurri, and fries. The other two were good but not necessarily something we'd get again we're the BBQ Tender Beef Sando with confit shredded beef, strawberry bbq sauce, pickled green strawberries, jalapeño slaw, ciabatta bun, and fries and the Grilled Cheese with basil pesto, tomato jam, texas toast and a tomato soup for dipping. Love the ambiance and service was great and look forward to going back again! read more
I don't often get a chance to stay here since I live in Seattle. When I usually do it's cause I went to one of the concerts at St Michelle with friends. Stayed here this past weekend for a friends 80th Birthday celebration. There were probably about 13 of us staying in the hotel. Some were there from Friday night I joined Saturday. The entire staff is genuinely nice and helpful. I checked in early probably about 10:15am and was surprised that a room was actually ready it was early but I had a glass of wine that is offered at check in. I had a different group of friends picking me up for breakfast before joining the rest of the group who were there for the celebration. Grabbed breakfast with my friends at Molbacks and came back we realized we forgot to have someone take a photo of us so I asked valet. He was more than happy to help and took great shots for us. Went wine and whiskey tasting with my friends that were there for the birthday celebration and got back around 3:30 grabbed some truffle fries at Happy Hour at Fireside in the lobby. We had group dinner at Barking Frog which I review separately. Sunday morning we had a special brunch for the birthday lady in the Gilman Room. I was staying on the first floor so it was easy for me to throw my bag in the closet after checking out. We were able to get in easily to finish decorating at 10 and I was able to take some photos before the rest of the gang arrived. Our server was wonderful and everything was well planned out. We all loved the food especially the mini quiche and bacon. The bacon was soooo good nice and smoky. Our group had a range of ages from 14-80 years old. Pastries were served first at 11 with coffee and tea. 11:15am breakfast was fresh fruit, mini quiche, yogurt, sausage, bacon, potatoes, veggie sausage and bananas foster French toast. Everyone was stuffed! The room has two fireplaces on either end and ledges on opposite walls that you can place photos or flowers which worked perfectly. There is a sliding glass door that leads outside if needed when the weather is warmer. The décor was warm and welcoming seats we placed well you had plenty of room between people. The staff made sure to deliver the flowers and cake they were holding for the party. I have always loved the rooms, they have fireplaces and a nice walk in shower. It's roomy and comfortable the décor is luxurious without feeling stuffy. It was built in 2000 they have done a wonderful job of keeping it up, nothing looks warn out. I enjoyed the turn down service, walking into the room with soft piano music playing when I was winding down for the evening was a wonderful touch I even left the music on all night helped give me a well rested sleep. Always look forward to staying here! Was a nice little staycation for me. read more

We love everything about the lounge. Food is fantastic, service is always great and the vibe is very fun. Live music on Fridays is a great local option for family night or date night. Would love larger table options or reservation option. We waited 2+ hours for a table. The fireside setting is an awesome bonus. We love the feta dip, smash burger, kids meal options and comfy couches. read more
If you're looking for a safe and cozy place to stay, this is it! We loved the balcony, the fireplace, and how safe and cautious the staff were during covid. Because it was my birthday, we were given a bottle of wine at check in, which was a nice touch. It was a very expensive place to stay for a getaway weekend, and a few more amenities would have helped make the price feel more appropriate. We thought that bubble bath, a cozy blanket, a library of books to borrow, and a way to connect to streaming services instead of a DVD player would have helped make our experience even more pleasant. We enjoyed the Fireside Lounge and that it had a covered table under an umbrella for one of the evenings. The gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed learning about Borage and Basil. We also used the complimentary bikes for an hour one afternoon when it was dry along the Samammish River Trail. It's a convenient location for walking to the Hollywood District, which we did for dinner one night. It was a fun treat-yo-self birthday weekend getaway location! read more

11/28/2020 As a night out away from the confines of seeing the same walls since we moved to WA. We decided to go and have a night in different 4 walls. The hotel is very pretty. The staff was masked and socially distanced as it should. I believe the woman who checked us in, Tammy (I hope I remembered correctly), was absolutely delightful. The accommodations are perfect in my opinion for a socially distanced romantic night and or weekend. With an oversized tub, fireplace and private balcony/patio, it is perfect for ordering room service and enjoying with your quarantine buddies. We would love to return and stay a weekend. However, it is kind of pricey for a military family budget. (And that is with word from a local shop that the prices were low at the time we booked ) Room service was fine and a complement to the experience. If you have the means I would recommend! read more

I recently worked with Willows Lodge to host a business conference, and it truly was a five-star experience from start to finish. The majority of the time, my team and I worked with Erin, the director of catering and conference services. She was super responsive and helpful with the entire process of helping us get our attendees rooms booked, coordinating the conference itself, and planning all the catered meals. The last time I organized a conference, our event contact did not have the same attention to detail or responsiveness, so working with Erin was significantly better. She helped us make decisions on menu items, timing, and even helped us nail down specific logistics that we probably wouldn't have thought of otherwise. Our catered meals (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, evening bites) were always prepared and ready to go on time. Bob was our main contact, and he arrived at 5 a.m. each day and left after we did with a smile on his face. The whole team always checked in on us, bussing tables, restocking as needed, it was perfect. At any time during the conference, we always had access to a staff member who could help us out as needed, which I loved! Tristan was our AV guy who also arrived very early to do a lot of behind the scenes work, ensuring all of the microphones were working, the projector was functioning properly, etc. It was great having him to help our event run smoothly. Unique to our experience, it was very windy, and the power went out on the entire block. The staff immediately got us lanterns and used their generator to provide a power strip to keep the presentations going. For our evening social, they brought out lots of candles, which really helped the mood. I was so impressed with how quickly and well they responded to the situation at hand. We also changed our schedule a bit, ending the conference early and moving our evening social up in the day. The Willows Lodge team was extremely flexible and made the last-minute change happen, without any of the attendees knowing we had planned for it later. It flowed perfectly! I cannot express my gratitude enough for how incredible the service was for my business conference. Beautiful hotel! The landscape, garden, walking trail are all very well maintained. Lots of outdoor sitting area in their garden, perfect to enjoy a glass of wine with friends. The room was clean and spacious. The oversized tube is my favorite. Molton Brown shampoo and body wash are a nice touch. read more

Superb experience! From before even entering the lobby, the greeting from valet is personable and warm. Check in was painless and welcoming. The room was cozy, with a corner fireplace and soaking tub with privacy shutters that when open, lets the natural light in. Our room had a serene view of the courtyard and gardens. We enjoyed live music during happy hour that was easily dinner. It was a popluar spot during this time with those returning from wine tasting in the nearby areas. We were glad to have gotten there a little early to secure a table. The outdoor relaxation pool area was serene and felt like you were in nature with the tasteful surroundings. Enjoying a night dip was a perfect way to end a great day. The next morning included a walk through the gardens that spanned the length of the property. Many interesting facts posted Associated to the art throughout the walk. Visiting the resident pigs was fun and surprising. The convenience of having so many dining options nearby as well as wineries for tastings made Willows Lodge a perfect central location to spend a memorable weekend in Woodinville! read more
Willows lodge us so inviting and cozy that my work trip from a few years ago that I raved about do my Love booked a much needed getaway for us. We enjoyed the opportunity to have our doggie "Bear" with us. So dog friendly they gave us a treat & a bed for him!! We had a couples massage and the staff were so great and attentive to our separate needs. The location is so close to wine tasting that it was a no brainer for us to stay here & relax. read more

Are the staff consistent in taking Covid precautions? No issues or concerns?
They were pretty good when we stayed at Willows Lodge. Masks were worn by all staff, and the room was very clean. Hotels are often not the concern. It’s when people start drinking, obviously without masks, at the wineries.
My boyfriend and I aren't huge wine drinkers. We love ciders and beer, any chance there's cool local places that serve beyond wine?
Yes, though most of them are in Seattle. There is Red Hook Brewery close to Willows Lodge which is an awesome place to visit for beers rather than wine and they do tours.
