Avocado Egg Sandwich
Vidya K.

I just had an avocado sandwich with egg and coffee but oh so good. It was quite filling and made with lot of attention to flavors. Loved it !

Bathroom. They should have switched the towel rack and picture so the towels would be easy to reach from the bathtub.

We picked this hotel because we had flown up to visit our daughter, who lives in Kirkland, and it was part of a package deal with Expedia. Right off the bat, I was very impressed with how spacious the room was. Besides the king sized bed, there's a sleeper sofa and desk, and the desk has a roll-out table underneath that's handy for holding snacks & food. Lots of electric outlets; I counted 14 (including the 2 in the bathroom) plus 2 USB ports. Easy to control the temperature using the thermostat that was connected to the dedicated AC/heating unit in the room. Amenities included a microwave, single-cup coffee maker, and mini-fridge. Lots of lights; I like keeping a small light on at night to make it easier to find the bathroom in the middle of the night, and the light that was above the microwave was small enough not to be too bright, but light enough to find my way around. No dedicated smoking area on the property in case you're a smoker. Staff was very friendly. We didn't do any dining at the hotel since we were out eating all the time with our daughter. There's a small convenience "store" off the lobby, but there's a QFC grocery store (a Kroger brand) that's within easy walking distance across the street. There's also a few EV charging stations in the QFC parking lot. My only complaint is where they mounted the towel rack. It's right above the toilet, across from the bathtub, so it's not very convenient to grab a towel after a shower. You have to put the towel on the floor if you want to towel off in the tub (which I like to do).

Hotel location

Courtyard by Marriott, Seattle Kirkland. I am so impressed with this hotel! I tried to get a room the day prior but they were fully booked due to the mega Taylor Swift concert. Glad I finally got a room Sunday, July 23rd with a rate of $237, Taxes and Fees from Expedia were $30 for a total of $267. This Kirkland Marriott is located on NE 124th Street, off the 405 freeway in a beautiful suburb of Seattle, called Kirkland. Parking is plentiful behind the hotel, where the main entrance is located. Check-in was a breeze; access to my room was quick and easy. The waiting area/lobby chairs are comfortable and nicely laid out. The dining area cozy, with a very adequate menu, particularly with the Starbucks items included. My room, #318 was fantastic for being a basic King bed room. Pros: All on/off switches in the room are easily and logically accessible. Every area I sat, there were power and usb outlets. This is easily the best designed hotel room I have ever been in! Someone put a lot of thought into the interior layout. The room is clean, modern and comfortable. Bed nice and firm, with four super soft pillows. All bedding was clean like it had been changed prior to my arrival. Same goes for all towels. (If you travel a lot, you probably know this is not always the case.) The room was so comfortable; I slept so well, I did not want to leave! Excellent modern fixtures like the large beautiful wood grained desk, that actually had an additional supplemental rolling desk under it. The TV, refrigerator, and air conditioner all worked and were simple to control. The bathroom had nicely placed amenities. I particularly liked the placement of the soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower. (So much better under the shower-head versus having them in the rear.) Cons: Absolutely none!

Breakfast!!
Patrick W.

We signed up for the elite program (which is free) just to get the breakfast option when we made our reservation. Trust me, it was worth it! Take a look at my pictures! It was not only worth the money but it was a very delicious breakfast both mornings. Also, not pictured, is the fact that Starbucks coffee was included in the breakfast as well. The staff was very very kind and parking was very easy. It is $5 per night for parking but that's not that bad for the area. So glad we signed up for the elite program and will be staying with Marriott a lot more now!

We booked an…read moreexecutive suite with a view of Lake Washington but were initially placed in a room on the first floor so the view wasn't as good as we had hoped. After we mentioned this, the staff graciously moved us to a room with a much better view (higher up). My mom later noticed online that the new room was listed at a lower rate, and when she inquired, they had already adjusted the price, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The 5-star rating is all about the incredible staff--they were absolutely wonderful! Every employee we encountered during our four-day stay went above and beyond to provide exceptional service, making us feel so welcome. The building itself is stunning, both inside and out, with beautiful decor and thoughtful touches. We especially appreciated the free filtered water stations and the nightly snack pantry from 10 PM to midnight, where you can help yourself to a variety of treats. It added a bit of fun and made the stay extra memorable! I have just two minor suggestions for improvement: 1. The room heater was quite loud, cycling on every 15 minutes and sounding a bit like an airplane taking off. As a light sleeper, I had trouble resting the first night. The second night, I turned it off to avoid being woken up, but the room got so chilly (down to 62°F) that I woke up freezing. 2. There's a bell outside the hotel that chimes at 9 AM and 9 PM, striking nine times, and also rings hourly and on the half-hour. While charming, it could be a bit disruptive if you're trying to sleep in past 9 AM. That said, the location is unbeatable--gorgeous views, convenient parking, and a clean, safe, and very walkable area. The setting is perfect for a relaxing getaway. As locals, this was a wonderful staycation, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. One tip: the nearby restaurants are just okay, so we'd recommend heading a mile north for better dining options. We had such a great time, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for another staycation!

There was no one there to greet us and looked like that they were still getting the dining room ready. The hostess did not come out until five minutes before seating time. I was kind of disappointed since this was supposed to be a special Easter brunch, but there was nothing to indicate that this was for Easter other than a few of the desserts. No Easter bunny, there are a couple Easter egg decorations on every table, but that was about it. Still, the ambience was good, a fancy brunch at a fancy hotel. The wait staff provided excellent service. The food was provided in a pretty good spread. The prime rib and the fresh oysters were probably the standout of the food. I don't know why they only have one person with two tiny hot plates to man the made to order station there for everyone. The family did like the desserts, they were very cute. My wife thought that they were too sweet, but that just means I like them a lot. All in all, it was a good brunch to experience once for a special occasion. No huge complaints here.

Shower worked fine. Pillows, blankets, and bed were meh. There's also a small fridge and microwave. The heater was great and kept us pretty toasty considering how thin the blankets were. The free breakfast is basically coffee/tea + yogurt, some fruit, and a packaged pastry (like a waffle). On our last night, the bathroom light broke, so we ended up having to use the bathroom in the dark. Showering in the dark - not fun. It smells nice throughout the hotel. The hotel common areas are really clean. 2/4 staff were lovely to work with. The bad and ugly: Room was not properly cleaned...even after asking a few times. There was hair in the bed, the first night, before I laid in the bed. The toilet and tub were not properly cleaned. And that should be enough for a 1-2 star review. Room got cleaner over the stay. Toilet was sorry the whole time, I just sanitized what I could. The twilight zone: The front desk staff was mostly nice, until I got Carly when I tried to check out. I explained to her that as a corporate guest, I needed to itemize and pay for personal items (toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash) separately. Enter the rudeness...and my shock. She seemed nice enough to the other guests. Carly snapped that she needs to see my card...which is obvious if I am about to pay. I handed her both my personal card and my corporate card. I tried to make a joke about how I couldn't refuse to give her my cards anyway. She responded, "Well you could refuse but you wouldn't be allowed out." At this point I looked up for a smile thinking she was joking also...she wasn't. I said, "I would never actually do that. I am (insert my age) and travel for business all the time." She continues to punch in numbers or something and doesn't look up. I asked her to please remember that it was non-food items that needed to be separate. She cut me off mid sentence with a, "Yes I know," or something like that. She was dismissive and irritable. When I asked her why the toothbrush, toothpaste and mouthwash were $40, she realized her mistake. She was very annoyed and then rather than apologize, she sighed and started to attempt to correct the issue. When I reiterated the way the expenses needed to processed on a corporate acct, she rolled her eyes. At this point, I am in the twilight zone...and developing a migraine. I literally could not parse how we got here or what I did to deserve such classless behavior. At the end, it took about 35 minutes and a manager to resolve the issue. The manager was also defensive, not once did she show concern for the way I was treated or customer service. No apology for the mistake or the dirty room. Just equivocations and detours off the issues. Not worth it. Won't repeat the visit.

It's right in Redmond Town Center, so everything like shops, restaurants, Marymoor Park is just a walk or short drive away. My room was styled beautifully, with plush five‑star bedding (I wanted this bed for myself!), Nespresso coffee, and cozy Frette bathrobes, my favorite LATHER shampoo. There were daily locally curated treats, a welcome gift of wine, salted caramels, water, and "playful" slippers tucked by the bed. AKB, the hotel bar, is lively and fun crafted cocktails, shareable snacks, a patio, and even shuffleboard. Amenities are strong. There's a 24/7 fitness studio with a Peloton bike, an indoor pool, and a 24/7 market for snacks or last-minute needs. The hotel leans into sustainability in thoughtful ways: EV charging, natural LATHER bath products, and eco‑friendly practices throughout. Service was very sincere and warm!! Felt so special on my bday they even set up a charcuterie board for me. What a sweet surprise. Things to consider:There's a $15 overnight parking fee, which feels a bit steep if you're just dropping in for a short stay. But I think it's worth it if you'd like to keep your car out and away from the public. If you're looking for a boutique stay with character and thoughtful design on Seattle's Eastside, Archer Hotel Redmond is an excellent choice. It's perfect for business travelers, couples, or anyone wanting to slow down and enjoy modern comfort in a walkable, upscale neighborhood. A special shoutout to Hsing Wei, who helped me during check-in where he was incredibly professional and accommodating, found me an early check-in, and also secured a room that matched my preference, which was greatly appreciated after travel. From an events perspective, this hotel is exceptionally well equipped. The large ballrooms are expansive and impressive, and the smaller meeting rooms are equally well laid out and more than well equipped to comfortably host all of our meetings, breakout sessions, and large group sessions. Everything felt organized, polished, and designed with business needs in mind. The guest rooms were very well put together clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities you'd expect from a Hyatt Regency, making the stay comfortable and seamless throughout the week. The gym deserves a special mention as it was very well equipped (though you had to get through a series of turns and steps to get to it).
